Awesome beer and nice vibes. Bartenders were really cool, and there was a good variety of beers available. We brought in some pizza from a nearby place and had plenty of space to eat and drink. Likely will come back!

Tonewood is my favorite local brewery. Their pale ales, IPAs, and porters are some of the best: Freshies, Fuego, Improv, Revolution. Tons of cool merch from glassware to hats to hoodies to towels. If you're hungry, remember you're in NJ, and feel frustrated, just walk down the street to Philly's Phatties.My first official date with my wife was at this location, as was our engagement photo shoot that they accommodated during a global pandemic. When my wife and I were moving to South Jersey, I was adamant that we live close by so I could always keep fresh Freshies in the fridge.They've really expanded their offerings to include lagers, pilsners, and experimental saisons. They truly have something very high quality for everyone.

Just went here today after showing homes and was pleasantly surprised! I’ve been waiting to come here for a long time. Very cool spot and great beer. The beer has a Treehouse brewery vibe to it. Very flavorful beer with great aroma. The location is great with a large parking lot next to it. The inside is fairly large with an awesome view of the brew tanks. Bar seating area is almost the full length of the brewery. Bar tenders were very friendly and people had dogs inside!! Huge fan of pet friendly locations. Very cool spot I definitely recommend, can’t wait for warmer weather. I’ll be back soon!

Great service, great beer, and always a good crowd here. Tonewood is doing an excellent job of being a centerpiece for revitalization of Oaklyn and the "Final Fridays" are a fun little event through September for all.

I love this bright and welcoming brewery as much as the fantastic beers they make. This charming spot in Oaklyn has a great vibe. Big fan of Tonewood’s SIPA and Rye IPA, can’t wait to try more! Pick up some delicious and earth-friendly food a few doors down at The Square Meal, you can eat in the brewery.

Updated: I've been coming here for years now and figure an update was due. I love Tonewood and see them as one of the best (or the best) breweries of NJ. They always have amazing beers on tap, an amazing variety and selection, and both locations have the best vibe. 10, 12, 16 ounce pours are what's offered and a great option. Easily a 5 star place and Mas Fuego is the best NJ-IPA that exists.Cool layout, place, and vibe. Was bummed that they didn't do flights. Wanted to try a few but couldn't because of that. They do half hours though which is good. But flights would have been better.

Easy come brewery that has some great beers on tap. The place was filled with friendly people on the patio and had some doggos to pet. They brought out baggo for us to play and hang in the sun. Brewery is BYO-food, which is fine in my book. There is a pizzashop next door that will walk the food over to you when its ready. Definitely be back soon to enjoy the sun there.

The best beer in NJ and in the Philly area. If it has Tonewood’s name on it, your beer is guaranteed to be fresh and well-crafted. The taproom is a nice little place and the bartenders are friendly and helpful.

I really, really wanted to like this brewery. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. However, this brewery doesn't sell flights or allow tasters, so instead you have to order a full glass and hope you like it. Unfortunately, I didn't really like the beer I chose, and did not want to drink more full size glasses. I enjoy trying different beers to see which I really like and might consider taking home. If you also enjoy trying flights, skip this place.

My favorite brewery in South Jersey and it's conveniently less than five minutes away. They are constantly rotating their taps and always rolling out new beers. They are very friendly and accommodating, A family member of mine who doesn't like beer at all only will go to this brewery as they have such a wide variety that it's virtually impossible to go here and not enjoy at least 1-2 of their beers

Very fresh beer, if that makes sense. Love the casual vibe, with all the vats so close. It feels busy but it's also a very intimate space somehow. One of my favorite places to drink beer, I must say. Oh, and the music is always good, from Phish to ambient. I love it.

Dynamic selection of beer to fit all tastes. No T,,V's !! Awesome!! Just friendly people, music, and BEER!!! Bring your own food benefit and your friendly(please friendly) dogs are some other great benefits. The tasting room bar tenders are on point. Your glass is rarely empty. The line for refills at the bar, if your sitting at a table, is quick and efficient. Clean fresh glasses. Be sure to be here early as it fulls up quick on the weekends. First of all, this place has excellent beer. Probably the best in this area that I tried. Unfortunately, if you want to hang out or grab a seat, kids run this place. We stood for over 20 minutes because a bunch of kids were taking up half a side counter playing video games. Then parents skipped the line to the bathroom which added a wait. It was also pretty hot.

The majority of their beer is outstanding. My only issue is that it sometimes becomes too crowed and hard to get a drink. Overall, it’s a nice place and friendly staff.

Probably the best brewery I have been to in a long time. I have been coming here for over a year now and I truly enjoy every visit. Also want to give a shout out to the facilities. Beautiful space and a wonderfully clean bathroom. You cannot go wrong with great beer and a well stocked and clean restroom.

Went there last night for the first time. It was such a great night. Met 3 friends to celebrate my birthday. I'm not sure I can describe how much fun and positive vibes I felt while there. Not only was the beer incredible but the vibe of the place was so great. Everyone joined in my celebration. And the neighborhood is so cool also. Children walking home from baseball, families walking in the nice weather, people walking their dogs. Just a very comfortable place to be. I would highly recommend a stop off at Tonrwood to relax and rebalance your soul.
