I’ve been shopping here for over a year. I’ve exclusively switched from chewy and Petsmart to Pet supplies Oakland. They have a huge variety of dog food, treats, raw, etc. The store is very clean and I never think twice about bringing my dog in for a visit. Today I experienced the dog washing, which was phenomenal.Usually I wash my 140- pound leonberger at home, but decided to try a DIY wash at pet supplies Oakland after a day of laying in dirt at kids’ sporting activities. For a very reasonable price, you can wash your dog in one of 2 full-sized groomers sinks, equipped with your choice of shampoo delivered automatically via a hose with warm sudsy water. When you’re done washing, you flip a switch to clean warm water to rinse. Towels and a disposable apron are provided, along with an air dryer.We couldn’t be happier, and signed up for the multi-pack wash package.

Very impressed with the staff and the knowledge of us taking home a bearded dragon. They reallllly care about the pets getting a good home. Made sure we had everything set up and answered 50 questions patiently with us. Thank you Pet Supplies Plus!

NEVER BUY FROM THIS STORE!!I just visited the shop now at 8:00pm to buy some fish, a worker called "Olivia" was having hard time to catch the fish for me so I asked her to pass me the net to catch the last one and "she did".. then she went and called the manager "Harry" while I was waiting and he came in a very aggressive and defensive way and he was very rude and disrespectful...He refused to listen to what happened and he claimed that "Olivia" didn't pass me the net and claimed that I am lying so I asked him to review the Camera and he claimed that the store HAS NO CAMERA and tried to kick me and my wife out of the store..So we respectully paid our fishes and left.My wife got really nervous and started vomiting in the parking lot.Those two people "HARRY" and "OLIVIA" are unfortunately not qualified to be neither a sales person nor a manager.This the first time I see a manager that doesn't know how to deal with customers and has zero communication skills.He came to me with his hand on his waist and raising his hands in my face and stated that he doesn't want to listen to me and refused to sell me the rest of the fish that I needed.And when I told that I am a doctor and he has to know his role and be respectful and I explained to him how he has to deal with customers he said "I DON'T CARE".Then another blode lady came when she heard I am a doctor and she was very respectful and tried to deescalate the situation.BUT STILL REFUSED TO SELL US WHAT WE NEEDED.NOTE: "THE OWNER OF THE STORE HAS TO KNOW THIS VERY WELL AND CONTACT ME PLEASE"When I got home I realized that they charged me for an extra fish that is more expensive than all the fishes that I bought and refused to add it to my purchase.THANKS

What a deal! Boba (shipoo) and I go almost weekly now for the $5 diy baths. It is very clean, you get two towels, choices of shampoo (oat, conditioned or regular) and a gentle blow dryer. The staff are very friendly and helpful...ask for Brian if you need suggestions..he is very pet knowledgeable.

Love this place! Very healthy animals and friendly staff and good prices. I have bought 2 beta fish from here ( at separate times and years apart) and both lived a long, healthy, happy life. (I previously bought fish from a different large chain pet store and both passed away shortly after purchase.) My fish will only ever be purchased here now. Very healthy fish and always have great quality frozen rats (my picky ball python will not eat rats from other stores) and an amazing selection of other animal products as well as tanks, heating lamps, and heating bulbs at a great price. Worth the extra drive from the other large chain pet store as I would rather support a business who cares about their animals.

Friendly staff, had some good sales. Got several toys for my dog under $5. They sell Primal Pet Food, which is a plus for me. This Pet Supplies Plus offers the Primal Goat Milk in all of the flavors that my local Pet Supplies Plus store does not have, so I am glad I can try those.

Shopping here is always a pleasant experience. They are well stocked and have very friendly and helpful employees. There is plenty of parking and it’s in a nice strip mall. I have used the delivery service too and it was great.

Pet Supplies Plus Oakland has everything I need for my pets. The associates are very helpful and pleasant. I signed up for rewards (which is free) and now I get great coupons in the mail. They also price match other larger pet retail stores. This store is definitely my favorite!

Pet Supplies Plus Oakland is my go to store for everything for my dogs. They provide information, assistance and the staff could not be more friendly or helpful. They send me great coupons that apply to the entire purchase that works for everything. I love this store!

Very friendly staff here and a nice selection of fish. My kids loved watching the birds for a few minutes as the attendant helped me with my fish selection. Most importantly, they have the cheapest Glo-fish I've found so my son was finally able to get some, and he's incredibly happy and is taking great care of his tank. Will be back, definitely.

Went in to buy glass goldfish bowls, gravel, food, conditioner for my grandchildren. They only had plastic bowls but the salesperson was a great help just educating us on what we needed to get started. Going back today with grandchildren to pick our their fishes...great store❤

Got a new puppy (6 month old black lab.) Just started coming here and let me tell everybody how great this store is! Every employee is very helpful and friendly. They offer assistance before having to find an employee and ask. Always email me promotions and coupons monthly. They even offer a hand should you need help carrying items to car. Prefer this atmosphere compared to the petsmarts and petco’s out there! Keep up the great work!

Best pet store around! The location always has sales and a great rewards program. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and has been helpful with his advice on several occasions for both dogs and cats, and all the employees are fantastic.

The customer service here is great. They greet when I walk in and there is always someone there to ask if I need help looking for something, which I appreciate. They also ask if I need help bringing my purchases out to the car when I have my hands full. I’m glad I made the switch from Petco.

Alex and the team at Pet Supplies Plus are always so friendly; even when the store is busy they go out of their way to say hello and ask if there is anything you need help with. I would definitely recommend going in here and shopping or doing curbside pick up.

Huge selection of food and treats and then some. Washing station roomy. Nice frequent buyer programs. Just make sure to check emails often, coupons for free items do expire and they get lost in all the emails they send. In a nice mall with lots of other stores for a one stop shopping trip.

Very well-stocked and well-organized pet supply store. The manager and staff always greet me when I walk in and offer to help with my selections. Sales associates will offer to carry heavy items to my car. Always a pleasant shopping experience.
