Beware of the woman who works at the self-checkout! I purposely avoid using the self-checkout whenever I see her stationed there because she harasses people and talks to them in a very accusatory and demanding way. She was there today, but I unfortunately didn’t notice this at first, so I used the self-checkout thinking she wouldn’t be there to bother me. It was a weekday afternoon, so it was not busy at all. The self-checkout has a rule of 10 items or less which I always abide by. I went to the self-checkout with exactly 10 items. I realized I had forgotten my bag, so I grabbed a bag to purchase one. The lady who works the self-checkout appeared out of nowhere and demanded to know if I had 10 items or less. (All the self-checkouts were open and no one was behind me in line either; I was literally the only person there, so even if I had a full cart of items, it would have held up exactly no one.) However, I told her I had exactly 10 items in my basket because that was the truth. She snottily replied, “Well with the bag, that’s 11” and when I looked at her like she had 4 heads, she looked annoyed at me and said, “But go ahead.” Who counts the bag as part of the 10 items or less rule??? I was only purchasing one because I had forgotten the bag I usually use at home. I have NEVER been able to just purchase my things and leave without having to interact with this person. There was no need to bother me for that. And I have seen her do things like this to other customers, not just me. She makes you feel like you’ve done something wrong when all you’re trying to do is pay for your items and leave. She is always watching people and demands answers to questions she asks in a very accusatory way. She honestly makes me feel so uncomfortable every time I shop there that I am strongly considering just avoiding this Target altogether.

Always love target stores. Nicely maintained , neat washrooms and good products . Returns are easy and no hassle . I generally order stuff online and pick it up from the entrance . Very good customer service .They have a Starbucks coffee store inside . Good for a quick and refreshing coffeee experience. Lots of parking outside . Lots of help inside . Good experience overall

I made a purchase and I thought the price was incorrect after I paid. So I went to returns counter, the person behind the counter didn't try to check the price he just instantly refunded my money. But what bothered me most is I hadn't even left the store, I walked from the register to the return desk and he refunded my money then through the item in the garbage. It was a closed bottle of Sesame oil that I never removed from the store. He said it's policy due to food safety. I'm not a regular target shopper and I won't be after this. Why not check the price for me? Maybe i was incorrect and the price was labeled correctly. He couldn't be bothered. Why throw it away when it never left your store. So wasteful. Target sucks!

Always a great place to shop and pickup a few things. I had been coming here for year's every since I lived in Edison but especially Somerset. All the great memories like the Hot Food Section and cold drink's. Now It also look like a lot of new changes and construction work as well.This Target always stayed stocked

This is my new fave 🎯. I feel like they’ve got so many products I’ve never seen before and I love the ladies at the fitting room, so cool. Usually people that work at Target are a little bit stuck up but not here 🤠

Horrible service!! All I tried to do was get the correct version of air pods my son wanted and not one worker tried to help me and my son instead they acted like they could care less. The only nice person we encountered was the person who actually processed my return all the other people we dealt with including the supervisor did nothing to help and I still have my issue.

I been coming to this location for 3 years and recently I’ve noticed every time me and my boyfriend go and get our groceries we are being followed around by a manager or coworkers around the store. It’s so uncomfortable, I wanna take my time and look into things but I can’t I always feel like I have to rush or they are gonna think I’m stealing. It’s honestly embarrassing that this location is like that I’m gonna have to change stores cause I’ve never had this issue with any other target or grocery store I’ve been to.

Very dissatisfied by this particular target. Placed an order here because my local target was out of stock. Upon receiving my order and arriving home, I noticed that these items were horribly damaged. The chicken tenders that I purchased for my daughter was cut open by a blade at the top exposing the tenders through a 4" opening. I am truly disappointed and I hope target makes their workers more aware about picking items like this. This bag should have been written off and trashed, not sold to a customer.

Came around 7:30 pm on a Thursday. Not busy at all. The cashier was extremely friendly, great eye contact and a smile. The Starbucks staff was super friendly, and seemed eager to assist me.

I went to the store to make a purchase for someone else. On my way to the self check out. I saw a book about Elon Musk so I picked the book up to purchase for myself. I made the first purchase, which was for someone else, and I was about to make the second purchase, and then right as I was doing that a manager walks up to me, as if I was about to steal this book and approach me regarding making the purchase of the book. I was profiled, and it was absolutely ridiculous before I could even swipe out my credit card to make the purchase. This woman was accusing me of trying to steal a book without knowing I was making two purchases. If you’re going to have self check out, you’re gonna have to trust me when I self check out and not accuse everybody who does not scan and purchase the way you want them to… if you want me to get in line to explain to a cashier that I’m making two purchases then you need to staff the store accordingly.

I would avoid this target and just go to the one on North Brunswick. A product that I wanted to buy was listed for a different price than the price that rang up at the register. I went to customer service to see if they can adjust the price to the one that was listed on the shelf. I spoke to an employee at customer service and told him about it. He wasn’t rude or anything, but he get me the impression that he really didn’t care about the issue. He told me that the price that it rang up as was the price that it was and if I wanted it I can keep it or simply return it. I asked to speak to a manager and she had the very same monotone expression and told me that the item kept ringing up differently than was priced on the shelf all day and that I could take it or return it. Same idgaf attitude as her coworker. I returned it. Never coming back.

My mom and I went to this target to today to pick up some food, and I decided to get raspberries. When I came home I wanted cereal with raspberries so I got the raspberries out and opened them… The raspberries were moldy.😡🙄

Price match process was easy. I simply asked if the book was cheaper else where and they were able to find me the lower price. Loved it!

I went into get a flash charger for my iphone and some refreshments. It took me over 20 minutes to check out due to the lack of opened registers which meant that everyone was going to self-checkout to get out the door. While the store was clean there wasn't many personnel to assist with the amount of customers in the store that day.

Today was my first visit to this location of Target. I loved it all! The was a breeze, not crowded or overly populated, nicely organized, updated with Spring inventory, the checkout was really fast. Loved it and will return!

Target's great and all... But they're wasting a perfectly good time dilation field by placing a self checkout lane in it.I mean... This is a great scientific discovery and it's not being put to use.You have a place where time slows down to around 1/10 speed... Surely there's better applications for it.Unless of course I'm misreading this situation and people really are that slow when forced to ring up their own groceries because some asshat thinks it's reasonable to consistently just have one cashier in place.

My shopping experience at Target was delightful! Everything that I was looking for was in stock. The cleanliness of the store made my shopping trip much more pleasurable. Kudos to Target🎯
