Worst ever customer service by Pharmacists at CVS Pharmacy, Rt 1, Monmouth Junction, NJ.The younger generation pharmacists don’t have patience to listen to customer and they don’t know the value and importance of prescription medication. They are spending time chatting with their colleagues. All the pharmacists are highly paid only to serve the people. It’s a shame on them.In this modern world, all the people have to rely upon the medicines one way or another. The people without taking medicines are rare these days and even the pharmacist themselves have to take them at some point of time. They have to think twice before they act.Nothing will go wrong if they spend couple of minutes more to listen and address instead of hurrying to complete the task.Thanks

Management needs to step in here big time. The pharmacists and / or technicians are unexperienced, communication is lacking heavily, if you can't fill a prescription or have to go to another location, pick up the phone and call the customer, its not rocket science - if you can go to pharm school for years, you can figure out how to not waste peoples time.The lines there are super long and it always takes extremely long to fill anything, even when they text you its ready. For such a nice town and location, this pharmacy is terrible. Everyone working there needs to be retrained on how to manage customers, time, communication skills etc. 2 stars because the people working there are nice people but seriously needs work on training employees/pharmacists. I hope that someone reads this review and steps in and makes a change.

The Clark and the Pharmacist are both friendly and very helpful. They also provided a ways that I could get a discount. My Rx are always filled above average quickly.The Monmouth Junction, NJ is my favorite location.

"Pathetic customer service".I have been refilling my medications from cvs Monmouth junction for over 3 years. I ran out of my branded diabetic medication so i asked my doctor. She sent a prescription on Tuesday to this cvs. Cvs told me that they dont stock this medication and I will get it on Friday. I asked if it is OK to skip the medication for 3 days and the pharmacist said it's upto me as I am not insulin dependent. I asked if they could transfer it to any other pharmacy as i am not feeling good after skipping my doses. They did ransfer it to cvs Hightstown road Princeton NJ location. Next day, when I went to pickup the medication, it was only for 30 days instead of 90. I asked them if they have it for 90 days. The pharmacist shouted at me saying that i am lucky to get this medication.Felt so miserable being at the mercy of these pharmacies. Would try some other alternative medication or pharmacy chain even it is far from my home.

I went to the pharmacy and the new pharmacist in charge at the Monmouth Junction, NJ store went above and beyond to assist my wife and I to get the new insurance in the system. He came from behind the counter and really helped. Thank you so much for being so great.

Absolutely HORRIBLE! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! There is ALWAYS a long line through the end of the isle and the wait (if waiting) is even worse!! My prescription was sent over the day before and my app said in process but was not filled til the following day and that was when it was picked up so had to wait additional time. I never see anyone there helping I don't know what is going on. I have been going there every month for years and it has NEVER been like this! I will say there is an employee named Melissa and she is AMAZING!!! THE ONLY ONE that will go out of her way to help me with any questions I have and tried to speed up the process of drop off & waiting to pick up!! This specific pharmacy needs MORE employees like her!!

I have been going to this Pharmacy for last 10 years. Their service is a awesome. Sometimes, we need to wait few minutes to pickup the medicine. Otherwise, it was always quick and prompt. If there is any question, they call the doctor directly and sort it out..

Amended from 1 to 5 stars! The staff at this location now are wonderful. They'll answer your questions and help you find any versions of your medication you need. They're really good about making sure that if you take any contraindicated medications that you're not having any issues/cause for concern. They are so kind and patient. I've been using them for a couple years now and it's been a lifesaver having their help, especially when some medications are hard to get stocked.

We are an fantastic pharmacy with amazing people!! Most of all our regular customers are also amazing and they love coming to our pharmacy , and that’s because we go above and beyond to help and make sure they get what they need, every single time with a smile 😊.. if you have a not so great experience with us you have to look at all the factors to why this happened and what you contributed to that situation.the take a look at yourself and what kind of person you are that trashes (in a very nasty way ) I have to say, someone especially publicly who tried their best to help them. 😪

I visited the pharmacy today, 5/17/18. I needed to refill a critical prescription for my son. Melissa the technician was so professional, courteous and helpful. When she initially input the insurance information, it was rejected and indicated that pre-authorization was required. However there was also a note in the system that it had been pre-authorized, this absolutely made no sense. She immediately got on the phone with the insurance company and explained to them what was happening. After about 20 minutes, the script finally went through. Unfortunately, the pharmacy was out of the medication. She sensed how upset I was and proceeded to call all neighboring CVS pharmacies to inquire if they had the medication and the correct amount. Melissa went above and beyond and provided a great patient/customer experience. I will make sure I get all future prescriptions filled at this pharmacy!!!

The pharmacist here are always helpful and very professional as well as all the other staff. This time Manisha helped me find coupons for my prescriptions and brought the cost down as insurance didn’t cover much. They always are patient and answer any queries.Great quick service.

The pharmacist is terrible. They change employees in that department and some of them don't have a clue. They told me three different stories today about my husband's and my medication which are important!!!!! Now, I have to wait through the weekend to get my medication. They close at 7pm which is earlier than most regular CVSs. I am DONE with this store. Everytime I am there, a customer is always compaining to them. I think the majority is incompetent and the pharmacist tries to justify his incompetency.

Clueless Pharmacy Tech. Went to pick up a new prescription Monday and was told my insurance wasn’t in network (it In fact was), so I went to the trouble of calling my doctor to call it in to Walgreen’s and then went to pick it up there. Would not want someone this incompetent dispensing drugs I take so glad she sent me elsewhere!

Tried to fill a persription today as a new customer, I was told they didn’t have it. There was no offer made to order it, unless that’s up to me to ask?! I am aware this particular medication can be discriminated against and pharmacists just not want to fill it, I truly hope that is not the case!?
