I've been going to Maple Shade Goodwill for years. This past Sunday I was there & found a computer keyboard with a purple tag which made it $1. The cashier asked if I had anything with a yellow tag, I said no & then she pointed out a messed up yellow tag that someone must have tried to put on there from another week. She called the new manager, Sheyanne, over & she examined it for over 30 seconds as if I did something wrong, then tried to pull off the purple tag & then said that the purple tag, which was put on the box ever so perfect , was the wrong tag & couldn't sell it to me & she even called over another person, not Sam (the nice & respectable manager, cause she left) & the other woman was saying something in another language & she said again she couldn't sell it to me. I said that it wasn't my fault that someone put the wrong tag on it, if she's the manager, she's should be on top of her employees and go around the store to make sure items are tagged correctly & better yet, make sure everything has a tag on it. She said, sorry ma'am, just following protocol & off she went with the keyboard. This was a used, donated item with the $1 tag on it & she acted as if I was trying to get get one over on her. She needs to keep it real, it's Goodwill, it was a computer keyboard & it was $1, not a 10 karat diamond ring like she acted inspecting it.

That is crazy prices are going up on donated merchandise. And I don't care who that guy is he shouldn't have favoritism over other paying customers. Remember we all make up the majority of their customers not one guy What would they do if we took our business to another Goodwill Store.

Some serious issues with this goodwill. Blonde lady so rude and aggressive. One customer favored who’s in there all the time. Should he get special treatment and protected. Maybe something shady going on.

Prices have gotten crazy. Jackets $25-$50 is just insane. Not to mention theres a bald guy whos in here everyday all day. He doesn’t work there but he should at this point. He goes in the back and the staff openly tells people they give him good stuff and bring stuff TO him that im sure hes not paying the marked up price for. Its very odd. Its like their own in house reseller. Even the corporate that come know him and embrace him. So on the off chance hes not there you MAY find a thing or do but the prices will make you leave empty handed. Lastly, theres a lady who screams “Coming behind you dont move!” as she rolls a clothing rack by. The one day she ran my whole heel over and cut me. So maybe relax!

Older blonde worker is extremely rude - will make aggressive remarks like “it’s soooo hard to return things to the right place” while looking right at you and “I wouldn’t shop here”. She’s literally awful to interact with. If you shop here, steer clear of her if you can

Updated Review, this is still not a thrift store I can ever say that I enjoy going to. There are some kind employees but there are quite few that just sour my experience with their negativity and bad attitudes. Merchandise is poorly organized. I would say almost all of the clothes have holes in them from poor tagging practices so be weary. They also have not had fitting rooms available for months. So don't count on being able to try things on. Despite not having fitting rooms, you can't return or exchange clothing items if you take them home and they don't work out. Their merchandise pricing is still on the higher side in my opinion. Definitely not my favorite thrift store.

I went there yesterday to look for monster high dolls or ever after high dolls and I found 2 monster high dolls and I was super happy with it I asked if I could get the dolls separately since it was mixed with Barbies I didn’t want but unfortunately I couldn’t get them separated. but I understand other than that this place is great :) all the dolls need is some cleaning up.

I dropped in to grab a couple Hawaiian shirts for a theme party right before closing time - found 3 quickly and easily. Jumped in line behind a huge order and as I watched the whole transaction wanted to get on here just to give Joan a 5 star review and shout out. I’d never seen someone so patient, polite, friendly, organized AND moving at a fast pace while juggling the order, taking things off that customer changed mind about, making polite closing announcements, and all while giving help/other information to the other cashier’s customers who needed help AND making polite small talk with her current customer about her being a student or compliment clothing clothing and art choices. MOST cashiers would have been rolling eyes, been snippy, aggravated, overwhelmed and certainly not as laid back and patient with the whole ordeal. Anyway, Joan, I wish everyone could learn from you! The world would be a better place. Thanks again!

This is a good place to shop. It is a thrift store so you half to dig. The furniture and household goods have a large variety, as well. Go when you have the “urge” with patience and you will be be amazed! The workers are so courteous, so it’s makes the shopping stress free. My niece calls it THERAPY.😊

I just want to say every time I come to the goodwills in Maple shade I always get treated right the manager Sam Louisa and Jones are awesome I buy a lot of stuff and I get great prices plus the place is very clean and even the staff on the floor Jeffrey Dave and Richard are very helpful and I go to a lot of Goodwill store but this one by far is my favorite.

This goodwill is overpriced. They wouldn't open the fitting rooms. I refuse to buy clothes if I'm not positive they fit properly. It was quite messy and the staff was rude. When they screamed across the store about the fitting rooms being closed it was the last straw for me. Making an announcement is one thing, but screaming at your customers is just wrong.I'll stick with the Goodwill in Columbus. Awesome staff! Even though it's small, they usually have an amazing selection.

Exterior was very nice and fresh looking. Perhaps it gave me higher expectations than normal but wasn't too thrilled about the variety on the inside. Shoes should have its own aisle and not scattered on every aisle. Organization of items could have been better. Experience was pleasant though.

Spacious parking lot. No restroom. Largest bag selection. I've found many books here for my collection. They have the most Potter merch. This is the most chaotic maybe second most chaotic GW I visit. There's one nice employee here who's always overwhelmed and unsatisfied. The lines are super long on the weekends and so many people want to ditch. Their carts are so filled and it slows down the line. With that there's great turnover here as individual people buy enough clothes for a village. The shoes are the most unorganized of all the other stores. Mens shoes in womens sections and vice versa. There aren't any mirrors to see how a shirt looks on you. The kitchenware section is in a cramped spot all the way near the back by the womens clothes. They should delegate more to give the employees intrinsic satisfaction. They are the backbone of an establishment and will take pride in the store more if they were respected by management. I think that's the difference between this one and others. Also for some reason this place attracts the most aggressive shoppers. They block the aisles by turning their carts sideways and throw clothes all over the floor and on top of the rods. Managers should make announcements on the loud speaker for proper shopping decorum the way other gws do.

This place was unorganized and was a mess. I wish I could write a separate review because I would give 5 stars to the cashiers. They are helpful, kind, and EXTREMELY PATIENT.

I visited this store for the first time about a week ago and it was not a pleasant experience. While the selection is decent (more or less typical), the store was extremely crowded and looked like it had been trashed. Unlike the photos here, it was messy and unkempt looking, clothes on the floor and toys lying all over from kids running around, etc. I love thrift stores and visit any I come across, but this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had - I'm in no hurry to go back.

I just want to add this to my post. I found a Ralph Lauren sweater, with the store tags still it. It retailed for $90 and I bought for $9.99 at this Goodwill.This is the best Goodwill I have been to! I’m not worried about the prices being too high. They we priced right for brand new sweaters and sweaters hardly worn. Everything was separated by size and I really found a lot for Winter, which is what I’m looking for now. Kudos to the workers, they too, were very nice. I’m definitely returning to this Goodwill location!!

I was very disappointed with our visit last night. We were there last week and the store was clean and the dressing rooms looked great.There were employees asking if any one needed help and they were working hard.Last night the dressing rooms were disgusting. They reek with a disgusting odor. You could not go in one of dressing rooms because the smell of body odor was so bad. Clothes were on the floor in piles and throw around everywhere. Clothes were spilling out of the dressing rooms. There were only 2 people working at cashier. They had no comment about how bad the dressing rooms were.Was highly disappointed.

Manager of this goodwill in maple shade is old lady and she was very rude to me! Even never response when I said Hi to get or have a great day. Nothing. When I asked to open the fitting room for try my clothes she said hold on! And I had to wait 10 mins..I had to ask from other Associate. Wish they can get someone new manager younger not old!

I love the clothes I find in this store but its dirty and disorganized compared to other locations. Also last weekend it was so packed I was nervous for my safety (corona-wise). They should really make sure people keep proper distance from one another, especially when the store is so busy and the lines are long.

Looked for store hours outside before going into the store today. Was met by an older man yelling at me when I walked in that the store was closed while I have bad social anxiety and everyone in line Staring at me while he was yelling this to me. How about having your store hours posted outside on the door and people won’t come in your store when it’s closed?

This store used to be a great place to “treasure hunt”. Well there was a lot of merchandise it was at least played fairly neatly and cleanly on the shelves as were the books. The prices were great, fair and reasonable and the staff is always friendly and courteous. My understanding was that the Goodwill stores were supposed to be nonprofit and to benefit education of the disabled. So it always seem to be a win-win situation to be able to shop there and also feel like the money was going towards a great cause So it always seem to be a win-win situation to be able to shop there and also feel like the money was going towards a great cause Now, there seems to be new management after the pandemic crisis and all of the prices seem to Have doubled, tripled, or more. Most of the items are just strewn randomly all over the place in parts and pieces. Many of the items are also priced above what I could purchase them for on Amazon or eBay which is absolutely ridiculous.Each and every time I am in there I hear a multitude of people complaining and grumbling about the pricing and many people walk out with half the items they would normally walk out with including me It’s a shame and I wish the manager would consider replacing these items and having someone try to keep the store in a bit more order

I beg to differ on the last review. I shop at a lot of second hand stores and ever since they moved to this location, it has gone downhill. Although it is bigger, it seems dirtier and more disorganized. The stuff is just thrown on shelves in no rhyme or reason, glasses which are put in bags and taped up are half broken and nobody is cleaning them up. I don't think staff are trained to take care of the store. I think they would sell more dishes if they didn't tape them all together.

It had a large selection of things to browse through. We were looking for a vase and we found exactly what I wanted. We also found a lovely flower arrangement and my husband found a few summer tops. We will definitely go there again. It didn't have any figurines that I collect, however. Maybe next time.

I love and enjoy thrift shopping . This store’s prices have increased at least by 3x. I keep seeing Dollar Tree items in there for 3.99 and 4.99. and up. The Maple Shade store’s prices are extremely high . ALSO I donate there often , only to find out guy running the place selling good items on EBay !!!!!!!
