We went to get my guinea pig's nails trimmed for the first time and the women who helped us out were very friendly and lots of help! They were able to cut his nails right away for only $10! I'll definitely be going for this again, thank you! (My guinea pig was very calm and happy when they cut his nails in the picture!)

We had my nephews 10th birthday party here and it was INCREDIBLE!!! The host we had (I can't remember her name) was THE sweetest to the kids and taught them so many fun facts about all the animals, she was soo patient with the kids and teaching them the proper ways to handle the animals, and took the time to make sure all the adults got a chance to be included with all the animals. It was soooo fun the kids had a blast with all the animals. Will definitely come back to support them!

I love this place. I purchased Luna a week ago and she’s honestly the sweetest girl. She’s very outgoing and loves to cuddle. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I’m obsessed with my new skinny pigs! Ryan and Megan gave me so much helpful information on the care and requirements for my new piggies and were patient answering my questions and letting us hold them before buying. I love it that they are bred in house so I know they’re getting the best care from the very beginning. Both piggies have very sweet personalities and began eating and getting comfortable as soon as I put them in their cage. This is my first time to NJ exotic but I’ll def be back. They also clip their nails no charge.

I went fun place to be really nice they do adoptions the lady who owns the store was really nice and helpful and i bought a sign I never saw anywhere also had plants i never saw anywhere else the owner helped me choose the right one and she also told me how to take care of it and even watered the plant before I left and some other thing and most importantly the animals look happy and healthy!!

Been coming here for a few years and it’s My go to place to get supplies and feeders at a very reasonable price. The staff is very helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable. The animals here are all well taken care of and in healthy appearance with clean enclosures. A wide variety of products offered and very pleased with the selection. The store is clean and neat and very easy to navigate and find what you are looking for.

Drove from South Dakota to pick up a sugar glider pair. Sugar gliders are hard to find in the area. They were extremely accommodating, provided a thorough care sheet, and talked me through everything. The trip was well worth it, I was overly impressed with how well vegetated most of their cages are. Megan is serious about her exotic pets, and does not mess around.

We bought a snake from NJ Exotic Pets. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about the animals they sell.Will helped my daughter pick out a snake and he really went above and beyond to help set up the tank and everything else we needed.He has helped us out even after the snake was purchased with some feeding issues we had.10/10, if you’re looking to buy any kind of exotic pet, go there.

Great place, truly impressive pet store. Young boy with the Hollywood blonde hair is ahead of his time with customer service. I should've asked him for his name. Wish him the best, this place is super clean the animals are beautiful and well taken cared of. Exotic Pets is a place to go its better then zoo.

This place is the best! My family has been coming with me here for almost a year now and we have grown relationships with every staff member there with each of them being nicer and funnier than the last. They consistently have great deals for such an amazing variation of animals. We’ve gotten dozens of reptiles and amphibians from them and will certainly be back for dozens more. P.S. they have a great taste in music and in hiring their staff

Really great pet store, had to get sugar gliders as I lost one recently and needed a friend for my other glider. Ended up getting 2 from them, they were super busy and dealing with an issue so I had to wait a bit but the store is pretty big so plenty to look at. The owner is very knowledgeable and really pleasant to talk too. She took care of everything with the gliders making sure their nails were trimmed and even said I could bring them if I needed help with it down the road. She even gave me a few tips for clipping the nails without to much trouble. Highly suggest them for your exotic pet needs they really seem to care about the animals.

LOVE IT! You get to check out many different animals and can purchase a variety of animal food. It's the only place I have seen mini pigs for sale. Awesome store.

This is pig. She is my everything but hates getting her nails clipped. She’s not a bad girl, just stubborn. I’ve tried and tried but I hate stressing her out. Couldn’t find anywhere else in the area that could trim her nails except this place. They positioned her and clipped her nails in maybe 1 minute right in front of me. Thank you guys so much!! Can’t tell you how much stress got lifted off my shoulders once you did it.

I’ve gotten a few of my pets from NJ exotics. All healthy. They have everything you need for reptiles, amphibians, small mammals and so much more! I can’t stop smiling when I’m here. Open wide isles. Enclosures are natural and clean. The staff is awesome! Friendly and knowledgeable. It’s 100% worth the trip. This place is no joke.

I could spend hours in this store! Zoo quality set-ups. A huge variety of exotic pets! They all look healthy & happy. The enclosures were immaculately clean. I'm SO excited that I found this place!! Can't wait to go back when I have more time!

NJ Exotic Pets is a Great Place to Shop or Just Visit!! This has become one of my Favorite Go To places!! There is A Lot Going On with there Large Variety of Small Animals, Reptiles & Birds. It is like walking into a Barn and Jungle all at the same time!!😃🐭🐰🐸🐷🦎🐍🦂🦗 🦔🐉💚The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. We especially enjoy Benjamin. He is always helpful and encouraging. Benjamin always greets us with a smile & when it come to making purchases he is an Expert advisor. I was so impressed of the knowledge and care the staff had. The man with the auburn beard (who also liked Pokémon) was very kind to us and shared a lot of his insights about hedgehog care. I am thinking about purchasing one, and would def go here to do so. I'm a big fan of the efforts they do to ensure more ethical purchase of animals as well.

I was looking for an all black chinchilla and I purchased two baby chinchillas (one a week apart from each other) here about a month ago. They honored their discount of $50 off if you purchase two of them. Both are happy and healthy cute little things. There is so much to check out in this place with so many different kinds of exotic animals and products to choose from. The environment seems a bit chaotic and busy with very few staff to assist at a time. I’d recommend calling ahead if you’re looking for a specific animal to see if it’s in stock. Overall, pleasant experience and I’m happy with my chinchillas.

I’d highly recommend exotic pets in Lodi to anyone looking for an exotic companion! They have nearly any animal possible that you may be looking for! If you do end up going here ASK FOR BEN!! He is the best! He is so kind, patient, genuine, and knowledgeable! He literally helped us for hours, answering any and all questions we had, sharing his own personal experiences with his pets to make us feel more at ease getting a new pet! He had all the patience in the world with us and we couldn’t be more grateful and pleased with our experience at Exotic pets! We have had some additional questions and were in need of advice after purchasing our pet skunk, we called them up and Ben was more than pleased to help us yet again and answer all our questions with enthusiasm and give us the best advice he could! The place is wonderful and makes you feel like you’re walking through a jungle it’s a different experience that you wouldn’t expect unless you see it for yourself in person. We were blown away when we entered and walked through the establishment. My boyfriend and I ended up choosing to get a baby skunk and she is quite the addition to our family! I’d definitely recommend anyone looking to visit exotic pets!

Going to this store is an event in itself! So many animals and inspired displays. They sell amphibians, reptiles, snakes, insects, exotic birds, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets even skunks!!! My kids had so much fun and the staff is so friendly, knowledgeable and encourage exploration. If you're in the market for an exotic pet or if you just want a fun free outing I would definitely check them out!

I have bought so many different types of animals from NJ exotic pets!! From spiders to geckos, bearded dragons, rats, guinea pigs and even the most adorable baby pig. It’s always an amazing experience and the staff is super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly Especially Ben! He’s the man. I’ve been going here for years since the first location and he’s always been my go to guy for any thing my wife or I may need or want. You can call him at any time of the day when you have a question or issue and he will walk you through any thing you may need help with step by step. I would highly recommend anyone taking a trip to NJ exotic pets to ask for Ben and he will guide you in the right direction to finding the perfect animal, enclosure, food or toys etc. He has a vast knowledge of everything to do with almost any animal in the store and he has a true passion for what he does. that always makes the experience better when you know the person helping you will give you the proper tips and care guide to successfully take care of your animal and feel confident doing so. If you need anything invertebrate related be sure to ask for mike. He’s my go to guy for most things spider/invertebrate related. He has great knowledge of anything and everything to do with spiders, roaches, millipedes, mantids etc. he’s even kind enough to let you know when new shipments of certain species you’re looking for comes in if you just leave your number with him or at the desk. This place is truly a blessing to animal lovers they have everything you can think of and if they don’t chances are they may be able to make it happen and order it for you!

It's so gratifying to meet a staff so in love with what they do. Awesome experience all around. #1 store in NJ so far. Blew my mind...from the people to the variety, to the education, and yo the presentation! It's all there. I would invest in the place if I could!!!Just visited again with a group of kids and they jumped in to be supportive. It was a great experience. I've never seen anything quite like this place with the incredible variety they have except in Florida.
