I wish I could leave zero stars. This is the second time this Walgreens canceled my order after I paid for delivery and had my card charged. So now I have to have my medication re ordered and pay AGAIN at the store while I wait for God only knows how long to be refunded. GET IT TOGETHER!!!! CVS will now get my patronage.Also when calling to get help with the issue I was met with nothing but rude, disrespectful attitudes. Again get it all the way together.

On hold for the pharmacist for 13 minutes. The hold music would end. It sounded as if you’re being connected then you go right back on hold with music! This went on at least 8 times! No one says we’ll be right with you or anything.

The most incompetent excuses for a pharmacy i have ever delt with. yesterday they delayed my two year olds antibiotics all day for "incurrence issues " until i called and they said "oh never mind its ready" than today my 4 year old was sent home with pink eye. the doctor called in eye drops at 9 am . after waiting all day with no answer we come to find out for no reason the pharmacy is closed , no reason, no explanation and no medicine for my daughter. so i tried to transfer it to another Walgreen's , nope the site wont let me , so now i have been siting on hold for 20 minutes to try and get my little girl her medication. unacceptable

If I could give zero stars I would! Anyone using GoodRx make sure they do not pocket your money by “using a different code” then claiming it is a different manufacturer

Please retrain the staff that works here on sense of urgency and customer service. I try and bite my tongue when it comes to leaving negative reviews, but when something happens more than three times, it's warranted.All I ever use this location for is to pick up photos, drop of FedEx packages, and the occasional prescription. When I'm the only customer in sight, and I'm standing at the photo desk waiting to be helped for 5 minutes while one employee is at the front register in plain sight, another is sweeping the floors, and another walks right by me without asking me if I'm being helped, that's poor customer service. More times than not, I've had to go find an employee and ask if there's someone who can help me ship a package, when there are plenty of employees who can use their eyes to see that there's a customer standing there by themselves with a package that they need shipped.This has happened numerous times for the last several years, and there's no sign of it getting any better.

I must have called a dozen times in response to their email asking me to give more information about my insurance. Every time I was put on hold 4-5 times. Very frustrating. I have yet to have their blessing of picking up the phone!

I called in a prescription yesterday was told it would be ready today. So I went to pick it up and the customer in front of me was trying to switch his wife's prescription asking all kinds of questions while I'm just waiting for a pickup. What is the point of me calling in a script if I need to wait in line for the customer at the counters prescription to get changed? I sat there for 20 min then just left. They simply shouldve asked him to move aside, have the pharmacist handle it and wait on the next customer. Not happy!

Money must be too much of an incentive. They are so often VERY short staffed. Two weeks ago was on hold 40 minutes to speak with a pharmacist or pharmacy tech before call was answered. I was told pharmacist was giving shots…..maybe more people need to be hired? We’ve been customers since this Walgreens FIRST OPENED decades ago in the Succasunna -now Planet Fitness location near Kohls before their move to Ledgewood. Today I was on hold one hour & 7 minutes. At 35 minutes the message changed from more than 3 callers ahead of me to “only one” caller ahead of me. At 67 minutes the message hadn’t changed. On another phone I called and asked for the store manager, who was not in, so spoke to whoever takes his place on the weekends. As you can see on my photo where I documented his conversation there was only one pharmacist working in the entire pharmacy. Should be two additional staff. He was trying to find out why they were short 2 staff? How long should that take? I was on hold for 67 minutes with no answer from the pharmacy & in even that time he had no answer as to what was going on? The recorded message is totally discourteous without giving an approximate wait time to call back. FAITHFUL CUSTOMER PULLING OUT OF WALGREENS. Customer service has gone way down hill & suffered immensely. One hour 7 minutes and still on hold. That was it. Hung up. Profit over customers. Don’t go here!

Had an appointment for a flu vaccine, got to the store, waited and after 15 minutes after asking what the issue, was told that their computer was down and could not get my information even though I had already signed up on line. Very bad customer service. Left and made an appointment at CVS. in and out in 5 minutes!

I ordered items for delivery through the Walgreens website. An item was missing and the store refused to take responsibility. Sharon, the employee who answered my call, told me that I would have to contact DoorDash. I asked for their contact information but Sharon said Walgreens does not have the contact information. With no way to contact their delivery service I asked for a refund. Sharon hung up on me. I then contacted the corporate office who placed a three way call with the office. The acting store manager was so rude to the corporate staff that she said, “I am going to put you through to our Consumer Complaints Division because otherwise this store will not change their culture and attitude to our valued customers.” I strongly suggestusing any other local Walgreens as this one does not take responsibility for their delivery services, particularly their employee Sharon.

PLEASE READ IF YOUR THINKING OF USING WALGREENS PHARMACY IN LEDGEWOOD!Sent my boyfriend to pick up my prescription. Apparently they told him there was no prescription for me when I drove there to give them the prescription. It wasn’t until he told them this that they quickly changed their attitude. They had told me it would take 20 mins and my boyfriend got there on his way home from work in about 25 mins. They told him it would take an additional 15 mins. Long story short it took about an hour for him to get my prescription that was supposed to take 20 mins. I guess Walgreens doesn’t teach their employees good customer service and time management. I would not recommend this store. I’ve also had issues in the past with refills on other prescriptions where they have told me to come back in 20 mins and then when I do they say that my prescription isn’t in stock, like how does that happen?!? It just shows that they don’t check on anything they just say whatever comes to mind. And I personally don’t want someone with that level of incompetence handling my medication. I will be personally switching to shoprite since I’ve been so disappointed with the experiences I’ve had with Walgreens over the years.

Do not take passport pictures at this store if you need more than 2. At any Wallgreens store it would cost you 14.99 for 2 pictures and 35 cents for each additional picture, but this location would charge you another $16 dollars. So, need 8 then be prepared to pay $60+. Not even following the standard wallgreens rules. I even showed the store manager my profile already existed in their system and I have done twice before, but she refused.

I don’t know where the pharmacy gets their time estimates for prescription pick ups but they are always so off which turns into me wasting not only my time but also my gas if I could give a zero star I would also the eye rolling from the lady in the drive thru really makes me want to come back. That was sarcasm in case that wasn’t blatantly obvious.

Live in the area, have used cvs a while. Switched because they claimed they were out of stock multiple times and call me later only to tell me they found it. One of my prescriptions I cannot stop taking or can have withdrawal symptoms. I was 4 days early to pick up a refill even though it was used since it is an as needed medication. Than they tried to tell me even if the psychiatrist called in a new prescription they could not fill it. The woman at first said it is the law and than back tracked to cvs policy. Psychiatrist now called it in and am waiting for them to fill it. You are better off with a local pharmacy not one of these corporations.

They simply do not care. I went to drop a prescription off and was simply told. We don’t have that you need to go back and check with the Dr. You know who did work with me ?? CBS down the street. They have lost a customer due to horrible customer service!!!!!

I have been using this Walgreens exclusively for about a year now. I take a lot of prescription medications along with over the counter remedies. The pharmacy staff here is OUTSTANDING! There are a couple of "bad apples", if you will, but overall it's a superior experience.I cannot praise the Pharmacy Manager, Stephanie, enough. She is a superior Pharmacy Manager, the likes of which I have never experienced. She has gone above and beyond and helped me on numerous occasions - whether dealing with my doctor's office, my insurance company or those discount card programs the drug manufacturers provide - she is a patient, effective patient advocate. She is THE reason I have stuck with this store even after they stopped being 24/7. There is a 24/7 CVS literally 300 feet from Walgreens. I am a shift worker and having a 24/7 store is a real advantage to me. Yet, I still choose to use Walgreens. That's how good it is!Also, their prices are competitive. I have seen many items less expensive in Walgreens than in the grocery store. It seems like they basically sell a little bit of everything, not just health and beauty. They have a grocery section, paper goods, pet needs, stationary, greeting cards, etc. Of course they always stock up with seasonal items as well.The front store staff is also very good at their jobs. They actually politely ask if they can help you… and then they do, they really do! The staff in this store seems very connected to their customers. I believe customer service is a high priority for them.The store itself was just built as new construction about 2 or 3 (?) years ago. So it is modern, well lit, and welcoming. They keep the store clean and the aisles clutter free. You can feel comfortable while shopping here. The helpful staff I mentioned doesn’t pester you. You can take your time browsing the wide aisles as well as the very large selection of health related products they have. Another great advantage is Walgreens very often make their own version of a name-brand item, which of course is less expensive and saves you money. Also, in my experience, the Walgreens-brand health products were identical to their name-brand counterparts and work exactly the same… just cheaper! The non-health Walgreens’ items are also very good imitations of their name-brand competitors. And “Walgreens-brand” items are 100% guaranteed. If the item doesn’t work satisfactorily, if it upsets your stomach or gives you a rash or if it’s faulty in any way, even if you’ve used it, you can return it. I find this to be a real benefit. For example, one time I had to buy some poison ivy skin lotion and it didn’t really work for me. Well, since it was a Walgreens-brand product I returned it for a full refund.If you have at least a tenth of the experience I have had with this Walgreens, you will love shopping here!

Recently had to switch to Walgreens as my pharmacy. The staff were very helpful in switching my prescriptions from my previous pharmacy and got the prescriptions filled quickly. The location is not very convenient with getting in and out so I do not come here for reasons other than to pick up my prescriptions.

Walgreens Pharmacy ZERO starsStopped by to pick up a prescription and they said it wasn’t ready, and to come back in an hour. I came back an hour and a half later to pick it up only for them to tell me they didn’t know how to make my prescription. The pharmacist spent a half an hour on the phone with another pharmacist being told how to do it. At the end they asked me to drive fifty minutes away to pick it up and it wouldn’t be ready for another day or two.At least one of the pharmacist are completely incompetent. I would strongly recommend going to another location. If they need help with this who knows what else isn’t going right.

Even after my doctor sent in an electronic Rx I had to call the other store to cancel the Rx. Of course the text message only read insurance issue. It would have saved a lot of grief and time if it told me to phone.

says it's a Fedex store, but they are particular with what they will send back. Depending on the day of the week and who is working, they MAY take your package or not.
