I know there are comments - and low ratings - based on the [lack of] customer service, but I'd say it's more about personality, and definitely not personal. They offer a great selection, and Harold knows the ins-and-outs of local horticulture. Know that it may be difficult to get a call back - frustrating, yes. But if you go in, he's a straight shooter, and gives you what you need. We don't go there for the hugs! With that said, he went out of his way to get us the perfect bald Christmas tree, and knowing where we live he made sure it was the appropriate species for our soil/sunlight. The only ones he had out were fairly small, so he told our 7yr old son to come back the next day and he'd get us a bigger one. It was perfect. And knowing my husband is a veteran, gave us a discount to boot. We've been going there for all of our gardening needs for years (and when a "local" gift is in order), and will continue to do so. Hug-free. :)

Stopped in on a whim for a Mother’s Day present and God am I disappointed that I’ve never been in this place before! The people who work there are so friendly, the quality of items they have between the plants and the gift shop items are unmatched between any other place in the area. Be sure to stop in!

Unfortunately i've never stopped in pior to today. My girlfriend and I were driving past and saw the pumpkin chimineas, we immediately turned around to go see if they had the large one that had been missing from our collection. We had bought three from wegmans years before. Everyone was very helpful, cant wait to go back with more time to look around.

This is a wonderful place and not just to buy plants! I could wander through the market area for hours. There are so many crafty and unique items that you will certainly find things to enhance your home and garden. Everything is very well organized and group together for ease of shopping (and ideas)! Great gift ideas also. A wonderful place to visit with a friend or family member anytime.

The Old Mountain Farm Market in Lebanon, NJ is just an Amazing place to visit and shop. They have a huge covered greenhouse with a vast variety of plants and flowers, stoneware and garden/lawn accessories.They also have a two level, store with a tremendous offering of household decorations. The owners are usually on hand and are focused on true customer service. We highly recommend this store, FIVE STARS!!!

Went looking for an oak tree for my yard. Didn't find any. Lots of old dying trees hanging around. Made me wonder if the owners have too much to handle. Store chock full of garden chotskies should satisfy most middle aged females

Very nice large nursery has flowers, vegetable plants, trees, and an inside shop with lots of beautiful items ranging from clothing, candles, bird feeders, bird baths, jams and jellies, local honey,gardening items, jewelry, it's a bit pricey for trees I bought a small blue spruce for $78. Their vegetable plants are good with a good variety and not too expensive most were $4-$5 each. They have pretty flowers like marigolds to help attract pollinators. They have bags of garden soil. They have bird seed and suet cakes and bird houses. Staff is helpful and friendly. It's a great place to find unique items that some local crafts people make and sell.

Wow. I’m definitely coming here next Christmas! Beautiful selection of wreaths, decor and trees!!! Even so late in the season! And decent prices too compared to other area garden centers. Wish I had found them sooner before I bought from other places!

Was quite surprised by what l saw inside, never knew that it was such a treasure of beautiful crafts, gifts & decorations for your home, garden, office, etc. As well as a landscaping of garden plants etc.

Drove past this place a ton of times, first time stopping in... staff was so friendly and the vast amount of items they offer was overwhelming! I ended up buying items from lawn decorations to, a hat, a candle, a little solar light for walkway, and a picture for my TV room. Loved this place.

Lots of ‘stuff’ to shop through. Too early to determine how the plant selection is but what they had mid April was right for the time of year. Never trust big box stores to sell you what’s right. Trust the little guy, like Old Mountain.

I’ve never actually written a review about anywhere, but feel compelled to write one after my experience this morning.after paying for 2 yards of mulch to be loaded, I went to the appropriate pile to wait. After sitting there for a few minutes, I decided to see if the customer (I own a small, local landscaping business) I was planning to meet had arrived yet. (We we’re planning on shopping for everything from trees down to ground cover)…as I’m walking towards the parking lot, the owner started marching towards me/the mulch pile demanding that I be more patient…I actually had not said a word yet, rather was patiently waiting for my mulch as well as a customer. After I received the mulch, I felt it necessary to let the owner know that I was not tracking him down, rather looking for a customer, I was told that he doesn’t care what I was doing and was told to leave (I did tell him that he is often rude to customers and his staff alike, but at that point I felt it was warranted because he was very rude, and I had not even said a word. very uncomfortable situation….I’m glad this interaction happened and we are now shopping elsewhere for any and all projects. great products, but extremely rude owner in my experience.

Not only does this place have the best Christmas trees I've seen in the area but, they also have a store that has tons of awesome holiday stuff including ornaments, lighting supplies, and artificial trees. Great selection and prices were good. Spent less on a much bigger tree this year as opposed to the tree we bought last year. They also have plenty of other flowers and plantable trees.

I found an old terracotta pot in what would appear to be their old/unsold/damaged items area behind their new ceramic pots. After pulling an old pot out of the dirt and brushing the filth off of it I decided to inquire about a price. Apparently the people working here never learned a thing about customer service, because when I explained that I found the pot by the junk pile with broken and old items I was promptly chewed out by an overly aggressive, clearly over worked, employee. They tried to convince me the pile was just items without sets, etc. I'm not buying it, literally and figuratively. They were so defensive at me merely questioning how an unglazed, equally sized, and obviously left out to pasture was the price it was. Not to mention it being in an area with literal broken items strewn about. If they had a tag, if they were even remotely polite or professional, I could see their point. But you know what, there's always another garden center. I'll be sure to find a better one to send my friends to.

I have been calling Harold for over a month to get a special tree for my nephews memorial service this weekend. I live two hours away and was trying to give a local nursery the business. Everytime I talked to him he told me he would call me at the end of the week. Not once has he actually called me back. Now 3 days before I'm trying to call him to pay for said tree so I can have someone pick it up for me this weekend.I'm told AGAIN he'll call me back. Nothing. Then again today RUDLEY I might add he says after I now sound frustrated "Well Ill have to call you back again, I have to go get the tag off of tree. Well Still nothing... So I Called Palumbo farms instead the woman was Amazing and I'll have an already 10ft beautiful tree for the memorial! All in under 10 minutes.I Will never do business with this company ever again.

A great farm! Very nice people, Rachel G was amazing. The farm made a generous pumpkin donation to my agency so my special needs clients had pumpkins to paint and carve. Would highly recommend!

Be prepared, you walk in this store happy but you walk out pist off. Customer service is non existenceI’ll give ZERO stars as one star is too many … I should have thrown an extra dollar on the counter for the women who work there just to smile or be polite

The food is always generally good. I always order biscuits for the table because we enjoy them so much, but we were disappointed with them this time. They were very dry. Closer to a dry scone. .
