Not sure why I don’t come here more often but I think that will be changing in 2024.This place is good stuff the foods/fruits/veggies are fresh. There are brands I have only seen in acme that I will be trying out.There is another in ventnor I sure hope it operates the same I am almost a convert!!

Love shopping in the Acme in Mays Landing. Store is clean, brightly lit. Vegetable & fruit department is fruit fly free and there are not rotten items. Love their seafood. The seafood is odorless and fresh. Staff is friendly, helpful and polite.

Absolutely love this store! I've been shopping here for years and it's the best. Large layout makes shopping comfortable as I suffer from anxiety in smaller, more crowded stores. Recent upgrades made it even better. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Always a pleasure!

Expensive. Stopped to buy some lunch meat but left after seeing roast beef was $15.99 a pound. Thought it had to be marked incorrectly but counter lady said the price was correct. Went to BJ’s and got it for $9.50 a pound. How can there be such a huge difference?Went back months later and absolutely horrible. To begin with pork chops were posted on sale for $2.99 a pound. Upon checkout they rang up at $7.99 a pound. The checker called for someone from customer service who took at least 15 minutes to arrive. In her defense she was running all over the store. We were told the add said value pack, which attendant couldn’t find for another 5 minutes. We had this line tied up now for 20 minutes so I continuously apologized. I then went back to meat department and purchased the value pack. Upon checkout the same again. At customer service it took another 15 minutes , between the lottery sales and Western Union and the woman running from behind the counter to chase someone leaving store without paying. Finally the price was adjusted. Is this store a gambling hall or grocery store.?

These are pictures of bug infested organic lettuce I purchased.. their veggie never last more than a day then spoil. Very disappointed. I planned on making salad with grilled chicken as a meal ( not a side) and ended up ordering out b. I had no time to go back to acme return their lettuce and find a new place to buy it from.

I did not want to give this place a one star! They effed up my daughters 5th birthday cake got the order completely wrong they gave super sweet icing not whipped got the star colors wrong the cake is also suppose to be half white half chocolate it's all white it tasted HORRIBLE nobody ate any and my daughter complained bc of the taste of the cake so sad 😞 I should have just done it myself and saved my money I go to acme all the time in vineland and they do a AWESOME job and this one in mayslanding I don't even know how they got a license to bake or decorate cakes wish I could post pictures to show but sadly it' doesn't give me a option

Clean store. BUT the management needs to learn how to talk to people. Especially customers . Sadly it seems to be an ACME standard.Food is to exspensive now to spented it where people don't like you .

I don't understand why people use credit cards in regular check out lines when there's self check out machines available. Those of us who prefer to use cash can't use the machines and are stuck in these long lines. Ideally, there should be a cash-only express line!

I have recently started going to Acme. I find their chicken, steak, & pork reasonably priced compared to other stores. Which is nice since things are so expensive these days.Their fresh bread is always great! I also think they have the best sales. Can always find what I need.The store is clean & organized. The staff is very helpful.

I stopped in as I was in the area and wanted to check out their organic selections compared to Shop Rite. I was surprised to see the large amount of choices at reasonable prices. I know I already pay more for organics but it is worth it .I was impressed. I will definitely stop in again when in the area.

A lazy ran store that is supposed to close at 10 but closes w e I've there several times once it was closed at 8 on a Monday some time in Aug. and at 9 today sept.26 as i see employees in there doing w.e the doors were locked for no entry. Don't waist your time or money in there just go to Walmart that is literally right next door hope it helps

I love the produce here and bakery staff! Both departments go above and beyond. They ask if you need help and check the back if I don't see what I need. They also were very creative with my daughter's cake and got the job done on short notice!!

First Id like to say the lady at the customer service w the dark hair and nasty attitude made it clear I wont be back. She literally walked infront of me as I patiently and kindly waited at the counter for a few minutes! No Hi,Hello are you being helped NOTHING! How rude then she goes to the back room finally comes out and she said can I help you? Yes that's why im here smh is what I thought. She had to go back do a price check was so slow and terrible attitude. Just hands me my receipt no thank you have a nice day. Why would anyone want to shop at a place like that. Then her coworker the red head OMG just out of tune with reality. Guy behind me was picking his check up she couldn't recognize him cus he didn't have his mask on.🤔 It was all so weird. You wont see me in here. Besides them prices are outrageous.

The guy at the seafood counter ignored me and my wife wanted to put in over $250 seafood order he was rude obnoxious and totally ignore us for over 25 minutes won't be shopping there anymore for seafood. On way to shop rite bc of him. UnfortunatelyManagement please take notice. someone needs to wake him up and teach him about customer service

Not the best in pricing. Even before price increase ACME was always high. Selections are smaller and front end crowded. Bonus floral section! Good job there. Baking selection is limited to standard fair not for the real baker. A shame too when so many culinary programs are in the area. A real lost opportunity here.Not one store employee offered assistance or greeted me during the shopping experience. Customer service in greeting would benefit not just grabbing the products and pushing them along. Needs a complete refit. Though some upgrades were made for this market. Appears dated and tired as well as disorganized.

Nice store put just stopped having people to buy two things to get the sale price. Why do you always have to make it two for ? Just to let us buy one item at regular sale price.Some of the stuff we don't need two of. That's all!

I went to acme on Sunday as I always shop there and have always had a good experience which is why I maintain going there for the last 8 years. I needed change and Luz at the customer service e desk just stared me down but I didn’t speak because I thought the cashier told her what I needed so when I walked over she put her hands up insinuating what do I need I said I’m sorry I thought this young lady let you know may I please have change and she says nothing takes my money gives it back I say thank you have a good day and nothing. My ten year old even commented wow she has an attitude I’m like yes son and she shouldn’t bring it to work. I woild never complain but I never had a bad experience and something so small actually got to me since it never happens.

My sister has dairy issues and I can always find a wide variety of dairy free goods here. Prices are very reasonable too.

Always pleasant. Not always able to find what I want because I'm not a regular. But I have never had a complaint about their service or quality. My last trip was quite pleasant and the staff quite helpful. Truly a pleasant shopping experience.

I was looking for ingredients for a new recipe. One Acme rep said she hadn't heard of the ingredient, but another one overheard our conversation and told us which aisle to find it. The first rep actually walked me to the aisle. These two reps and the cashier were completely friendly, helpful, patient and exceptionally professional. Although I went out of my way to get to Acme, I will definitely be returning!

Hot Mess! I'm a local inspector for the government and this store is in my jurisdiction. It's in complete disrepair, dirty, and there are unit pricing violations all over the place! While in the store, I identified myself and I pointed out the violations to the front end manager, but I was simply told "yeah, sorry, that's an accident". Then I contacted the home office and the district manager, and neither of them bothered to return my calls. So, if you're shopping there and you find the wrong prices on items, I strongly suggest reporting the violations to New Jersey Weights and measures.

Very spacious store, easy to navigate and walk around without bumping into other people and/or their carts. Great variety and selection of items. Nice bakery and prepared foods section too.

In my own opinion.. Acme is not a store for low class citizens.. unless you have an idea of what day the coupons fall on.Even though they're overly priced.. I find myself usually shopping for their snow crab legs and the mango habanero chicken!

Pharmacy rep was horrible. My prescription was never ordered. The rep wouldn't even try to call another Pharmacy to fill my prescription, which has been done before.

OMG! Store is being remodeled and is beautiful, but since prices have gone up on almost everything in this economy 😢 I need to go where there are good sale prices. Families don't always need ten for ten dollar sales; not really a helpful in my case anyway❣️🙂

This location was great, the store was stocked pretty well, and I highly recommend manager specials. It took a lot off of our grocery bill. We went on a Sunday a little after lunch time and it was pretty empty.

I didn’t catch her name, but the girl working in the bakery on 8/20 @ approx 8pm was very polite and helpful. She assisted me with a cake I needed at the very last minute and I didn’t have cash on me to tip her, so, I thought I’d leave this review in hopes that her boss and the company sees what a great employee they have working for their company.

I worked here back in 94-95, def ever aisle has changed since some are only a straight thru isle but the rest are half and still confusing but the do have better cold cuts than ShopRite or Walmart, jus gotta figure out the rest!
