I have a large breed, Rhodesian Ridgeback, who dislikes vets and every other groomer...high anxiety and very stubborn. Tracy has been the only only one to succeed ever. She has knowledge on all breeds and the common personality traits. She's very patient and strong in being able to handle large breeds and gets the job done. This was not worth $40. The cut is uneven on the head and neck, her legs are trimmed at 4 different lengths, and her body fur is patchy all over.

Good if you are in a pinch. Cut my dog's hair too short even though we said we wanted it longer. Most other groomers were booked 5 weeks out, these folks took us the same day we called.

First time there today with my newly rescued dog. I did not want to stress her, but this doggy needed a wash. Tracey was kind and understanding. She knew that this first grooming would be stressful for both me and my dog. Everything turned out swell. My dog was in and out and the price was affordable. I will be back.

If you prefer it short and quick, the name is self explanatory. Pet-Tastic is an absolutely fantastic place to take your pets. If it were possible to go above 5 stars, I would have. If you’re up for enduring my rambles, read on!I am visiting my parents and didn’t have a chance to take care of my pups before leaving the city. I called a total of 17 local businesses. Most were not taking new clients, many didn’t answer their phones or bother to return my calls. One groomer appeared to sense how desperate I was and attempted to charge me well over a hundred dollars to groom a less than 20 lb dog (I have two). He also warned of an additional $50 if he found matting or if the dog was difficult and he only accepted cash with a 7% charge for Venmo "due to the new laws". I could sense that this gentleman intended to further gouge me. The expense was not an issue but I do not enjoy feeling victimized and I also didn’t feel comfortable leaving my dogs in the care of someone of this character.Finally, I reached Pet-Tastic. The absolutely lovely woman who I spoke with could clearly sense the panic in my voice. She struggled but managed to make time for BOTH of my dogs during a crazily busy holiday weekend! The charge was about a third the previously quoted price. I inquired about the new Venmo laws. She responded that while the untaxed transactions were nice while it lasted, she considered the new laws to be a “cost of conducting business” and she had no intention of shirking this expense onto her clients. She also clued me in that the new charges were only around 2%.Is anyone else tired of rude groomers? I have consistently found that these “pet people” often lack “people skills”. Well, believe it or not, a trade off is not at all necessary! I witnessed the tender care that the pets were receiving while I was treated with the utmost professionalism and courteousness. An estimated completion time was provided with a warning that it might be a very busy day. Still, I received a call ahead notifying me that my dogs would be finished at the exact quoted time. I was running over half an hour late. When I finally reached them, my dogs were the last remaining and the staff was clearly waiting on my arrival to end their long and arduous day. Can you guess how much attitude I received about my tardiness?... you guessed it, NOT A DROP.Finally, my dogs were GORGEOUS. I shouldn’t have been surprised, it was clear that the ladies here take their jobs extremely seriously. They check multiple authorities and research each breed before they will lay hands on your pet. They even keep various treatises on site to check for direction. My pups received some of the best cuts that they have ever had and looked fresh and simply awesome for the holiday. She even educated me on the proper verbiage to use when requesting this cut from other groomers in the future. They were as soft as clouds and smelled beyond incredible. I mean seriously, what is that?? We visit very lavish “pet spas” in NYC where we are from and are charged significantly more, but they have never and I mean never smelled so amazing! What is more important is that my high strung little monsters are handfuls to say the least and make a regular habit of mortifying me in these environments but I have never seen them so calm and relaxed when I arrived to pick them up from such a facility. She claimed they were complete angels… let’s just say I am skeptical. But I of course appreciated the likely fib. What pet mom wouldn’t? How often do you encounter that kind of grace and that level of politeness in this industry? I almost believed her!When I next return home, my failure to groom my dogs ahead of the visit will be purposeful and I know exactly where we will all be headed. Fair prices, top-notch customer service and highly skilled professionalism are a few things on the long list of qualifications Pet-Tastic embodies. Long story short, please trust me when I say that for a million and one reasons, Pet-Tastic is THE place to take your pets!!!

Brought my doggies here for their first ever grooming and was very happy with the experience. Was able to bring them the morning I called. My dogs look and smell great and both ladies there were warm and welcoming to me and my pups. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience. We called in the morning for a same day appointment and was booked for just a short time later. Our maltese mix was given an absolutely adorable haircut just as we asked for! Staff is extremely friendly and our pup was happy and smiling when we picked her up. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Tracy with any of my pets. I used to work with her years ago - she has patience and understanding with every dog and cat. She listens to your requests and concerns, and I remember dogs trusting her. I've seen her transform dogs with breed specific cuts, and she has also provided de-matting services to poor neglected dogs giving them a new walk on life. Tracy is an honest groomer :-)

Our 12 year old labradoodle, had a horrible 6 hour grooming experience at a different local groomer, we were so afraid to take him back, we just didn’t go for 8 months. Desperate to spruce him up, we spoke to the owner of Pet Tasric and she offered an under 2 hour grooming. In spite of the total wreck his fur was in, she managed to do an amazing job! He didn’t seemed stressed in any way. We highly recommend this groomer. So happy we found her. They are the best!!! Cindy and John

I brought my dog here for the first time this past month. I specifically asked her to please leave some length as my pup had a very majestic coat and he gets depressed when it is cut very short (I know he is a princess). When I came to pick him up he had a straight buzz cut down to his under coat which you are specifically not supposed to cut down to for his bread because his coat may never grow back the same way. As if that were not enough he also had bloody sheer marks on his stomach where he must have been cut... If this wasn’t already bad enough and a horrible experience from someone who didn’t know what she was doing at all and seemed to just want to get things done quickly rather than correct he was also shoved into a tiny cage WAY too small for him. Do not bring your pets here if you care about them in any way.

Tracy is really the best. She always takes care of my white Persian cat, Snowbie. I wouldn't trust anyone else with her. She always accommodates us by letting us come when the dogs have left, since Snowbie gets nervous around loud dogs while she's getting her haircut. Thanks Tracy!

Groomer was nice and professional, store is a short walk away from the river where you can kill time watching kayakers. Good price and I didn't have to wait too long until my dog Abby had a fresh new haircut and a free bandana!

Myself and another women was watching this women toss a poor white poodle around like a toy and then the poor dog got out of the harness and she flipped it on its side . The poor dog was scared and shaking like you would not believe. I finally went inside and asked for her license but she would not give it to me. So now I will take this one step further and shut her down. This is NOT the first time I have seen this. She has no compassion for animals so please DO NOT BRING YOUR FURRY FAMILY PET INTO HER PLACE!!!!!! SHE HERSELF IS NOT A FRIENDLY PERSON. AS I SIT HERE AND WATCH HOW SHE TREATS THESE ANIMALS . I should of went behind that counter and took that poor baby away from her . It was just not myself watching but another women was watching as well as myself so whoever owns this dog please come get it. I am concerned she is going to really hurt one .one day
