Helen did an amazing job grooming my Persian cat Homer. He is so happy with his lion cut! Besides being a master of her craft, she truly cares about your fur baby! She is so patient and kind-Homer is not stressed when I pick him up!Helen is the only groomer I trust to groom my cats. She has taken phenomenal care of my babies since 2002! I highly recommend Paws R US 🐾❤️

They do a great job here. The cuts are top notch. You have to keep yourself busy for 4 to 5 hours, though, if you are coming a distance like we are. Even so, this is the only place that has even groomed our mini schnauzer - for a reason.I should point out, however, that they accept cash or check (with ID) only, and you should ask what the cost is when making your appointment or when dropping off your pet. The website doesn't advertise prices, and they won't bring them up unless you do.

Can’t recommend highly enough! Paws R Us does an absolutely wonderful job grooming—and I trust them completely with the care of our dog. They are true animal lovers and their “less stress is best” slogan applies to all aspects of interacting with the business.

They couldn’t tell us the price until they saw the dog. 2 hours later, I’m standing in front of chase bank since they only accept cash and checks. I specifically asked them “how much is this haircut going to be so I can withdraw the cash?” 75 dollars was her response. As soon as we go pick up the dog, she tells us it’s $110. Claims she never said 75.Evidently, we Are the ones who are confused, not them.Looking at reviews, I guess I’m not the only one.I never care to write reviews but this one really is an absolute joke

We have had Winston, our bulldog, to several different groomers and nobody compares to this place. He loves going there and always looks and smells GREAT!! Whatever they use is fantastic and last for weeks. I simply cannot say enough about Paws R Us. I am grateful for care they give my Bubba! They are friendly, caring, and a blessing. Thank you!

The owner is nothing more than a common thief. I asked more than once what the cost would be and was told she (Helena) would have to see the dog but probably around $100. I made an appointment brought the dog in again asked the cost and was told the owner was not there so the groomer said the owner would have say the price. Anyway I left my dog and they called me after my dog was groomed and said $150 for a bath and a partial cut seeing that they only cut my dogs hind area and ears and paws.

Updating my review in response to the owner: you must be thinking about wrong person. My initial review is from a year ago, and you are responding now? My husband did not drop my dogs off, I did myself. And your staff was late as usual. My dogs are not old either, and are never matted, as their coat is not even long. You just did not provide proper service as agreed (one of my dogs was scheduled for a full groom) and charged me full price, my dogs were practically not groomed or even washed at all. Horrible establishment…. Have been coming here for almost a year, always was satisfied and happy with services…until today. I had a very first appointment at 8am, when I came they were not even open yet, so I had to wait for someone to finally come in. One of my dogs was supposed to be fully groomed. When I came she wasn’t groomed at all, they just gave her a bath. And told me that it’s our second time coming there so they don’t have any notes, that is funny because we are coming every 1.5 to 2 months since last summer for a full grooming. They kept my dogs for 3 and a half hours, and blamed it on my second dog.

My husband and I took our golden retriever here for his first time to get groomed! He is our first pup so we weren’t sure exactly what to ask for. Helen was great, before bringing our dog she took the time to explain what he would be getting done during his first grooming session and knew exactly what to do for him. We felt so comfortable leaving him there and fully trusted the staff. We loved his cut, he looks so handsome. If you are looking for a grooming place PawsRus is the place to go. I have been going to Helen for over 8 years now. The dogs love going for their haircut. She is very caring and takes time with each dog. If she notices a problem she will tell you right away. The dogs come out looking great and seemed relaxed. She listens to any special requests you might have. My dogs are older now and need extra care at times.. Her prices are very reasonable. I can get an appointment right away. Helen goes out of her way to make it the best experience. I highly recommend Paws r Us.

I LOVED the place, not only that but my cat LOVED the place, too!!! My cat is pretty picky when it comes to water, as most cats are. However, my cat loved getting cleaned here! She came out smelling and looking great. I cannot believe that she still smells good now. My cat was very peaceful and in a very good mood when she got home from Paw R US.I could tell right off that my cat had had an amazing experience with Helen, the owner/groomer. From the very beginning when Helen took her out of the box, I felt confident that Helen was good with cats. Cats and dogs have different needs and need to be handled differently. She picked her up correctly and the rest was happy history. She fit me into her schedule which was awesome!!

Best place to bring your pup hands down! My lil girl Shay loves the ladies at Paws R US, and I'm Grateful for all the care and love they show her. They're even able to professionally clean the tarter off a dogs teeth without being sedated!! She is never nervous or stressed about a trip to see the groomer now! Were so happy that we found Helen!

Stay away! Groomer/owner is a scammer! Charged me $240 for a bath/haircut on a sedated dog, that by the way has been going there since he was a puppy! Last haircut/bath was under $150 & she magically hiked up the cost to $240 several visits later! Rude & always has a lame excuse to charge higher & higher each time to scam customers! Only takes cash too! Will never go there again😡😡😡

I 've been going to Paws R Us for over 10 years. They know and love my dog as they do all the pets that are brought there. They can handle all types and sizes of dogs and their different personalities. The owner is an artist when it comes cutting hair. I saw her fix some homemade disasters which I swore could not be corrected. I would highly recommend you try them.

I can't say enough about Helen owner of Paws R Us, she is so sweet and my dog loves her. I have a friend that recommended her to me and every time I visit her I make an appointment to see Helen. My dog always gets stressed out every time we leave the house and go in the car, but Helen has a way with him and he's always happy to see her. She does a great job and I recommend Paws R Us to anyone that loves their pet as much as I do.

Helen is one of the finest groomers in New Jersey!! She groomed my Roscoe beautifully for many years, before my loving Bichon passed at just over 15 yrs old!. I always would get compliments about his beautiful grooming as people always wanted to know who groomed him. Everyone wanted me to show him.... (Rest Peacefully Ros...love you!)Today, Helen is grooming my champion line Bichon, Toby, every two weeks. He loves Helen as much as I do! We both love that he is fully groomed, nothing left out, in around 2 hours!! When we leave, he kisses Helen good-bye. Helen is always available for helpful advice, no matter how busy she is.In addition, my brother brings his Bichon to Helen and my daughter brings her two very anxious and noisy Persian Calico cats. They look fab as well!!Do not hesitate to bring your pet to Helen, she will lovingly tend to them.

For almost 2 years our Reggie was a wreck for 2 or 3 days after he came home for the groomer. One groomer recommended we sedate him before bringing him back. A friend told us about Paw-R-Us so we tried it. The first time we went there, we picked up the same happy little boy we dropped off, only looking better! She has been Reggie's groomer for 8 years now. I recommend Helen to all my friends!

I have been using Paws R Us for years for my cat Chloe....Helen is great with animals and has the patience of a saint.....The fact that she can was able to befriend my little "gangsta" cat is a miracle b/c grooming her is a chore (loads of sensitive areas that she doesn't like to have touched)....but Helen has that special knack with animals and not only has she made the experience pleasant for my cat but she does a great job with the grooming itself.
