My cat Kahlua was having a horrible time, vomiting, dry heaving, foaming at the mouth and choking trying to take her 3 medications a day in pill form. I was at a loss not knowing if I could continue to give her the care she needed! Then Greg called from Rockaway Pharmacy and Compounding and my prayers were answered! Greg and Danielle were able to make one medication transdermal and 2 in liquid form. No more stress and anxiety and Kahlua is taking it like a champ! Thank you again!!!

Greg and Danielle saved the day. My four year old with autism had a nasty infection and the previous pharmacy we used for compounded meds (he can't take oral meds) wanted us to wait 3-5 days despite knowing that my little guy was in rough shape. Greg and Danielle were quick, attentive and helped us within 4 hours of getting the prescription. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us and gave us a detailed time frame and notified us every step of the way in the process. Greg even went to another pharmacy so he had enough medication to complete our prescription. There are not many people as compassionate and dedicated as they were for us. Autism throws us some curve balls every once in awhile and as a mother- you feel helpless when you can't help your child feel better. I now feel like Rockaway Pharmacy is part of our village and it's wonderful to have people, like Greg and Danielle supporting our community.

I live in Hackettstown. I'm not making a special trip just for this when I do work during the day. I submitted a refill and have it delivered on the app and still won't do it. CVS is much easier to get it delivered. All online.I'm editing this because they are very nasty. They been trying to call me everyday and even admit to harassing me.They are horrible, no respect.They never delivered anything before i guess lol look it up,2014.license suspended. You want a pharmacy like that lol Please go elsewhere .

Great! So helpful during a really hard time. If anyone has a sick pet Greg and his team are wonderful! My cat has advanced kidney disease and has a very hard time with taking medication. My beloved cat is on three different medication twice a day so you can imagine it’s not easy. Greg and his team went above and beyond when it came to making sure my cat was able to take his medication. They came up with flavors to mask the medicine so that he could take it. They also came up with capsules that made it much easier for him to swallow. Also always checking up on him. They are truly an amazing team and God for bid your pet gets sick and needs to be on medication Rockaway pharmacy and compounding is the place to go because they truly care about you and your furry friend.I am very thankful for them.

We have been getting compounded pet meds from Greg for years now and are very happy with the service. Their prices are very competitive and Greg works w/us to find something our cats will accept. He and his staff are super friendly and helpful. They refill prescriptions quickly, will call the vet for us if needed, and keep us in the loop. I also like the selection of non-prescription products (e.g., cards, health & beauty products, etc.) in the lobby area. Highly recommend.

Greg as well as the other staff are great, I get my cats compounding medication here. It was Greg who suggested this method and I swear it has saved my cat with thyroids life, as he was not taking the medication by mouth and I believe would have passed by now due to him needing this medication for his illness.

I have to give my 12-year-old chihuahua medications 2-3 times a day. He started refusing to take his pills in peanut butter, cream cheese, ground beef, ground turkey--fussing and screaming like he was being beaten! Drama and stress for both of us! My vet suggested compounding them, and my chi is now taking one mixed into his food and eagerly licking two chicken-flavored liquid meds off my palm. His seizures have stopped, and his pulmonary hypertension is under control. I thought I was going to lose him, but with the compounded meds, he's now doing well. I'm so thankful for Greg and his pharmacy!

I have been using another compounding pharmacy for my fur babies and never had an issue at all but I had an issue with them getting a specific medication for Bubble Bottom. So the vet said they can send it this group for me. I thought I would try it out. I was very pleased. I missed 3 calls from them before I even got home which is 1.5 hours from my vets office. Anyway, to cut a long story short they sent the medication to my treating vet and it was there extremely quickly. The gentleman I spoke to was extremely nice and very helpful when I told him what was going on with my kitty kat. Thanks so much.

Wonderful place! Terrific for compounding pet medications into something more palatable. Love that they take the time to actually speak (and kindly) with you!!!Tuna flavored antibiotics make the medicine go down much better than a spoonful of sugar for a cat!Follow up: Greg (the pharmacist) took time to call my elderly Mom to see if her newly adopted elderly cat was taking the compounded medicine (she is). The delivery gentlemen also took time to show my Mom how to measure out the meds. Amazing & heartfelt THANK YOU!

I have been going to this pharmacy for years. It is a friendly environment and the staff is always welcoming. I never have to wait long for my prescriptions. It is conveniently located right next to Quick Chek and the parking is fairly easy . The owner, Greg, is always willing to answer any questions that I may have. I would never go to any other pharmacy. Not to mention the lovely and ever handsome cashier.

Greg DePaolo, R. Ph. and his staff are AWESOME! I've been to many pharmacies throughout my travels and lifetime; honestly I never felt compelled to review or comment on one. However, I was so impressed with the service here; it is only fair they receive praise. Greg compounded a prescription for a relative's very ill Golden Retriever. He not only had the fastest turn-around in the state (the Vet had phoned an additional compounding pharmacy as well); but he took the time (without me having to ask) to show me how I'd use the syringe to extract the liquid for our patient (it was more complicated than one might expect). When I left his store he said he'd phone in a few days to check-up on the dog; and that he did! There is a large selection of product here, the store is very clean and the parking was convenient. Thank you again to Greg and his staff for helping a very special veterinary patient get well; your caring made all the difference!

Best pharmacy in the Rockaway area. Very fast service and pleasant staff. Counting pills into a little bottle may take just a few minutes. Whereas if you go to other, national chain pharmacies always send you adrift for at least 30 minutes and are than surprised if you come back after 30 minutes and they are still not done with your order.Rockaway Pharmacy is by far the most pleasant experience of all pharmacies visits I ever had.

Been going here for close to twenty years. I am down to my last straw. For the past year, EVERY time I drop a script off, there is a problem. Sometimes I have taken the exact same script to Costco and other pharmacies and not have any problems. There are constantly new people working there every month, so there must also be problems when you work for them as well. Its a shame because Gregg is so knowledgeable. Please go somewhere else.

Now called Rockaway Pharmacy and Compounding, next to Quick Chek.Avoid this place like the plague!! They harassed, interrogated, and embarrassed me in front of the whole staff and other customers. They failed to protect my privacy in this regard.They insinuated that I was engaged in criminal or otherwise questionable activity.Once they finally called my doctor to confirm my prescription, they then took it upon themselves to play the role of activist.More specifically, feeling that they knew better than my doctors, they chose to call and unrelated doctor, not the one who wrote my scrip, but different - my psychiatrist!I am sure they violated my privacy by saying God knows what to my psych Dr.; all I know is, one day later, this Dr. mysteriously and coincidentally told me he was discontinuing my ADD medication!!I will sue them if at all possible.Avoid this kind of big-brother abuse of power and go somewhere else to fill your scrips!
