Got my first betta fish and an Anubis plant there about 2 months ago and everything is still growing well and healthy. The owner gave me some good tips on betta fish. 💯 % would come back!

I went in today to get a beta fish. Mario was super helpful and knowledgeable about the betta fish and other animals there. He gave me tips. He really took his time to explain everything to me even to the type of food they can eat. I will definitely be back soon to get more things. I recommend this store for first pet owners. Prices were great as it’s a local store convenient for those that live close by.

Excellent selection and expertise. We came here after a PetCo, and this store had more variety of birds, snakes, saltwater/freshwater fish, and small furry things than a typical large chain store. Probably 6 types of snakes alone. Owner must be a magician of some kind or have an encyclopedic knowledge of animals to do all this.

As Educators getting a fish/tank for our class we were not only disappointed with the lack of detailed knowledge at this pet store but with the fish dying in a week. Everything we bought here never worked including (2) heaters for the tank & there is not an effective return policy in place. When looking at the beta fish the sales associate also attempted to sell us (2) fish that we came to see were dead.This store could do much better.

Wonderful shop. Having lot of variety of fishes and exotic pets. They have love birds, Parrot, parakeets etc. customer service is top notch. The owner is ready to answer any queries related to pets and we are super happy visiting their shop every time.

I am changing my rating from 5 to 1 star. This place used to be awesome but seems they have given up on water quality and fish health. I bought six fish during the weekend 3 didn't even make it to my home which is only 8 mins away from the Westside store. I have one fish left out of 6. I have bought plenty of fish from here (discus,other cichlids, tons of guppies , mollies, Bettas,etc ) in the beginning everything was great now it's just a waste of money. Before this situation other fish I have bought have died from this place. I have brought out of towners to also buy fish there those fish have also died. I Checked the water the fish came in this times and the water had incredibly bad levels........... It's definitely not the first time I've told you this about dead fish. Also having dead fish sucked up on your filters and bad water quality isn't doing your best. Thanks anyway.

Nice small pet shop with basic products for small animals, dogs, cats, and fish. The girl at the store was super helpful and nice. I was able to go in and out with everything I needed!Price is fair. Will definitely come back.

In my experienced this store is very friendly and helpful. I buy a fish, rabbit and accessories in this store. I understand they have a limited product because it's a small bussiness and small store. Hopefully one day they will expand. But costumer service is great.

10:05 am 1/4/23 and their not open. No answer to the provided number. Store states open at 10 am and close at 7pm. No punctuality whatsoever but this is the only pet shop in the immediate area,unfortunatelyAnd waited past 10 0⁵ parking available right at the meters. Don't lie to save face ...

I didn't get their names, but the staff here is incredibly helpful. It has a local, Mom and Pop's store feels which is great for first time pet owners as it isn't intimidating. Glad we finally have one again after the pet shop at 440 closed. Prices were a bit high, but nothing crazy considering the convenience of the store and what the prices are actually these days anywhere. So whether you're looking into buying a new pet to add to your life, or just want to browse the store and their collection of familiar and some exotic animals-- this place's got what you need.

Great experience!! 😄 Although I didn’t buy anything, I love bringing my kids here, and they love it! Staff is always very friendly. Yeah obviously there’s always cheaper places @KoukiVT 🙄 but this store is worth the extra $50!!! Trust me!!

I am ecstatic to hear we have this place in town and so close to me!!! I am a long time fan of the owner of this business back when he had his original store in jersey city heights! He knows his stuff and when it comes to fish, we'll let's just say he swims across oceans and seas!! I was a loyal customer and still have fish I purchased from him back then!! He truly cares and is devoted to this hobby!! Welcome to the west side and cannot wait to have a free minute to run over and say hi and get some fish and supplies from you!!! I purchased 2 betta fish from there for $10 a piece and a reasonably priced tank for $20 for them to share. The tank came with an entire starter kit.

Just recently we visited Uniq Pet Imports and were very impressed with the enormous amount of various exotic animals and animal care products available. We were able to get feeder mice for our pet snakes 🐍 and it's so close to home so this pet store will get constant visits from us. Right on Westside Ave you in Jersey City is a good inclusion to the neighborhood.

I love this place its small but they have the best customer service and helpful and nice. This is my new go to spot for my aquarium so far I have purchased 2 calico goldfish 2 plecos and a Black Moore everything inside my aquarium including the tank was purchased here. I am definitely going to purchase everything I need from here. I wish they sold dog harness amd leashes for my Novah girl she gets excited looking at the fishes in the tanks when we go. Mario is absolutely helpful and so sweet he helped me cure my aquarium from a bad case if parasite and fungus he is my go to guy he k ows his stuff and is very informative

I must say this place was definitely needed in this town and what a perfect location. The staff is extremely friendly. They have gone above expectations to meet my needs. I was nervous about trimming my Beardie and the owner offered his help. How awesome is that. I definitely recommend this place for pets/pet supplies.

Yes, this store isn’t “cheaper than Amazon “, but its affordable and it’s definitely worth it. Staff is really friendly, understanding, professional, and if they don’t know something, they will definitely do their best to figure it out for customers. I would most definitely recommend coming in and taking a look! 👍🏼😁
