It's like a giant warehouse for bird food and toys. Best prices I've ever seen. You have to go there Saturday mornings before noon. I bought these two adorable parakeets yesterday. I can't believe they sat on my finger already! I put them into a gigantic cage with my two other parakeets. As soon as they settle in for a few days I'll be letting them out of the cage to fly around in the house.

The biggest piece of trash that can exist in this country is the owner of this store, Mike, a racist towards Latinos. I paid him something in the amount of $2,100 and when I received the confirmation email from FedEx, the address where the package would be delivered was wrong. I called him to inform him that he treated me in a bad way because my English is not good but I heard his racial attitude when he yelled at me and hung up on me because of my accent but I don't give a damn about your attitude this country is great to the Latin hand🤣🤣

When the original owner, Gino A. Abbate Sr, was still alive, the customer service was extremely respectful and formidable. He was always a pleasure to speak to—he was an immigrant to this country. The type of language that the current owner often uses is absolutely shocking and shameful. He refers to Black people by the "n-word!"The parrot seed mixtures are decreasing in quality. There is less kibbled biscuit than what was previously offered. Beef is now replaced with pork. There are less large pieces of dried fruit, vegetables, and nuts. Instead, there are Jordan almonds (hard candy coated almonds) which are very inappropriate for birds!I wholeheartedly understand that the pandemic has made owning a business extremely difficult. Nevertheless, I am very disappointed in the immense decrease in quality presented at the corporation. We bird fanciers take great care of our companions and would gladly pay for quality products and service. I sincerely hope things improve.

Very rude, no customer service,I had been using Abba seed products for years. The father was great. The current owner Mike is a person you don’t want to deal with. If your order is missing parts or damaged there is no customer service, he will get foul mouth, use profanity, talks over you then hang up the phone.If you are lucky enough to get a correct order, good for you. If not you are in for a lot of aggravation.Will never use them again. There are better alternatives that actually value and respect their customers.

Abba seeds has a lot of bug eggs and parasites in them ….his supplies will fill your birds with Diseases witch will Eventually kill your birds . Trust me . And he knows this but all he cares is about making money.He also has been talking bad about good breeders who had bad experiences with him because of his product. He never takes accountability for anything.If you want your birds to live don’t buy from him . Buy Vacuum sealed bird foods …I recommend (encore bird food) …..even if you had to pay a few extra bucks is better then letting your collection of birds die out one by one .Make the right choice.

I have been a customer for over 5 years. Abba is one of the last companies that provide bird SEED, not some mix with artificially dyed crackers that the birds never eat. When there was a mixup with my online order this month, I called in and was treated professionally. The missing order arrived at my door 48 hours later. My two cockatiels are happy and thriving on the Abba 1600c blend; that is the bottom line for me. Thank you for your quality products.

Best bird seed products out there I have been dealing with them since 1996 never had a problem it's a strictly mail-order business out of courtesy he opens half a day on a Saturday Saturday's you don't need an appointment if you get there by 11:30 if you cannot get there by 11:30 on a Saturday and you want to make an appointment during the week to come that's what you have to do you have to make an appointment that's because he's not open during the week to walk-in customers like he is on Saturday and the reason why you need to make an appointment during the week it's because he's not open to walk in customers during the week because he strictly mail order he opens half a day on Saturday as a courtesy during the week you need to make an appointment because he gets deliveries that have to be sorted and stocked and he's busy making the bird seed mixes or filling the mail order purchases it says please don't call on Saturdays because the secretary is not in and the guys are busy feeling in orders of the walk-in customers and the mail order purchases

I’m not a customer but work for a utility company. I was passing by for an annual inspection we do for the safety of our customers at 8am and was greeted by the rudest man I ever met. He opened the door and started cursing me out for not having an appointment and didn’t even give me a chance to explain what I was doing. Greatest pricing that I've found anywhere!!! Excellent AMERICAN MADE inventory with a super smart and friendly staff. They always carry the bag of parrot food for me I never even have to ask. + being a Jersey girl my whole life that is a rarity for the clerk to go out of their way to help without being asked. Been going there 5 - 6 years it's always kept clean too!

They sell seed that is bagged with ants, moths, moth larvae and maggots in it. They will refuse to issue refunds as well. Contacted company twice, poor customer service.

I have placed a few orders with this company in the past year or two. The last food order I placed I got a 50lb bag of finch food that was full of bugs. I just let it go because I know sometimes its hard to control this type of thing. The last order I placed had several plastic 16oz food and water tubes in it. Four of them came cracked. I called the company and from the start the owner was extremely rude. He asked me to spell my last name and he couldn't find my order. I didn't realize the order was placed under my company name. He said I needed to file a claim with UPS and said that since I didn't know how to spell my last name then he couldn't do anything. I told him that the box was not damaged and he got very defensive and loud accusing me of accusing him of sending out defective merchandise which was not the case. He was so rude, loud, and condescending. I will never do business with this company again. He placed me on eternal hold!

I called in today to find out the way the ordering and the process to go through to start ordering from these guys ... the first phone call was pleasant ... the second was NOT !!! i called back to place an order and the lady in the office acted like it was her first day on the job ... then the owner got on the phone and let me say i am TOTALLY surprised this man is still in business the way he talks to people. Not professional at all talks to you like your a kid and your an A$$HOLE for not knowing the ins and outs of his ordering process. Im a parrot breeder and would have brought a lot of business to this guy because i believe in shopping local and helping out the smaller guys, these guys have lost any changes of business now or in the future from me!! DISGRACEFUL WORK ETHICS !!!

Very unprofessional and unpleasant. I really don’t understand all the positive reviews. After we waited for our appointment, we rang the bell and because nobody was opening the door we moved to another door and again came back to the first one after waiting without nobody answering.Finally somebody opened the door screaming like an animal at us because we rang the door and didn’t wait long enough before moving to the other door.We tried to explain that because there no signs we tought that we were at the wrong door. Instead of being sorry for the misunderstanding and the way he welcomed us he just kept screaming.Never had an experience like this.

The man who answered the phone was extremely rude, wouldn’t answer any questions I had— referred me to the website and asked “why are you calling me?!” Well sir, why is your phone number listed on the site if you don’t want to receive calls??? Those ppl are terrible, don't go there, the guy on front disk was super angry he curse customers and speaks loud with the F word every 2 seconds!! I saw that and the stupid customer was fine just because it's cheap product!! Are you serious!! Great to get birds supplies at better prices then pet stores. Lots of different toys and cages for the birds plus the good seeds mix and other stuff that your bird will love for sure
