I have been hesitant to take my rocky to any groomers for over two years. Because petco decided what was best for my dog and not what I requested, leaving me quite upset and paranoid about groomers, until... I met Mimi!I cannot express how wonderful her service was and in fact it was such a fantastic job that I reschedule for rocky to come back. Not to mention, rocky seemed to come back feeling and looking his absolute best!Mimi is a master at what she does and it shows how much she cares. Along with the rest of her family and staff, everyone was just great!A must visit for your pups needs, excellent service and quality are guaranteed! In love!

Today was my first time trying Mimi’s salon. I actually was referred here by someone who had a similar breed as my pup at the dog park - i loved his cut so she told me about this salon. WOW am i so glad i came to Mimi’s. I have a mini golden doodle who needed a grooming badly. I brush him regularly but I was not brushing him properly because he was very matted at the roots of his fur. Mimi took the time to call me and educate me on proper grooming & also gave me updates on my sweet boy. She and her staff took the time to comb out all his knots and didn’t shave him which i really appreciate as I have experience with other salons just shaving him to the point where i didn’t recognize him. When i picked up Nelson, not only did he look sooo handsome and beautifully cut/groomed, he was also wagging his tail and soooo happy. I can’t express how thoroughly thankful I am for bringing Nelson to Mimi’s salon. I have finally found an absolute amazing salon that is professional and does a stellar job! Thank you so much!!!!

So Happy with my experience at Mimi's ! This was my first time bringing my dog to Mimi and couldn't be more satisfied ! Mimi and her husband are beyond nice and were super informative. They knew exactly what my dog needed and were so accommodating. I love how they don't lock the dogs up and let them roam around, sniff and get comfortable with their surrounds. My dog has never been so soft and actually seems happy afterwards (Unlike petsmart.) Their prices are fair and my dog was ready in only an hour and a half ! I highly recommend them !!

This place is excellent. They always do an amazing job with my Standard Schnauzer. My dog is very nervous, and he can make grooming difficult. I plan to continue to go here because they accommodate this and take their time. I have full faith in the care they give to every dog that gets groomed there. However, there are a few issues that should be addressed. I usually schedule my appointments for 8:30am on Saturday…and my dog is ready to be picked up 4 HOURS later (which seems like a rather long time).Secondly, I normally just bring my dog in and ask for the typical schnauzer cut and it is done well. However, this most recent time (5/13/23), I specifically requested his body be cut with a #10 blade length (which I have done before AND is the recommendation from the American Standard Schnauzer Club) so it is shorter for summer. Yet, when I picked him up he had longer hair than he would have had, had he been cut with a #10 blade like I requested. When I questioned, I was informed a #7 blade should be used on the body and a #10 blade COULD be used if he was a “different kind of schnauzer” (despite him getting a #10 blade length on the body before and his breed club recommending that length for the body). I was told that a #10 blade “leaves marks” (whatever that means). I was upset because I had specifically requested something, and she did not do it because she felt she knew better or knew what should have been done. He still looked great as he always does. Yet, I did not get exactly what I wanted simply because she felt she knew what was better for MY dog and that her thoughts overruled what I requested. If she wants to only groom dog breeds one way that is totally fine; it is her business after all, but at the very least I feel she should inform her customers that she doesn't want to or will not follow their request BEFORE grooming their dog and expecting payment. On top of this, a small side issue with pricing. I had a gift card for “One Free Deluxe Grooming”, on the back it was noted that it was a $75 value. Typically, when getting my dog groomed, the price is around $75. This time, however, the price was around $100. This is fine because prices everywhere go up, but I only found out about the price increase AFTER my dog’s grooming was completed. The $75 dollars was taken off my total yet all I got was a deluxe grooming, which according to the gift card should have been free. Having to pay $25 dollars I wasn't expecting to pay, for a dog grooming that went against what I requested, led to an upsetting experience. Hopefully, the next time will be better, and these issues won't pop up again.

I can't thank and recommend Mimi and her team enough. I called her in desperation after my dog Cooper was skunked. I had tried bath after bath myself to get the stink out and I struggled, I called her and she took us in right away (which she normally doesn't do without an appointment) and was so helpful and really helped to lessen the stink. They were all so caring and loving with my pup who was so defeated and in a rough place. This place is great, thank you Mimi!

I went to Mimi’s Saturday by getting the info online. And I’m so glade I came across this online. Went to petco that couldn’t help cut my dogs nails so I decided to go to Mimi’s and have his nails done. They were so helpful to what my dog needed and gave him the most perfect cut and wash . He will be a long timer at Mimi’s thanks so much for all the great tips on what’s the best things to use on my long hair dog. Can’t wait for his next appointment.

First time there. They did a great job with my mini labrodoodle. He is usually very nervous about the groomer but he was calm and happy when I went to get him. Mimi and her husband are great friendly people. Already made my next appointment!

We love Mimi's VIP!! We have been taking our two dogs for a couple years now. One is a Husky and the other is a Bernese Mountain mixed with a lab. Both dogs shed a lot, so we take them every two weeks, and we always love to go to Mimi's to give them a nice haircut and bath. They always look their best when they leave the groomer and we always get a lot of compliments!! All of the staff is amazing. Jose and Mimi are wonderful people, Jeremy is great with the dogs, and my Bernese cries and non-stop wags her tail when she sees the staff - she is so excited! We love going to Mimi's!!

The owner Mimi is so patient with the dogs.. I adopted my dog Mia, a shih tzu, that was very nervous. She had me bring her in 2 different times and spent a half hour holding her, putting her on her grooming table, brushed her and let her stand next to her while she worked. All this before she gave me an appointment for grooming. She is one groomer who doesn't just shave a dog down, she truly listens to what you want. I would certainly recommend her.

These guys are fantastic. My 2 year old dog absolutely loves going here to be groomed. All I have to do is say let’s go to Mimi’s and she starts jumping up and down. They all truly love my dog as well as all the dogs they groom. They really are all dog people. The prices are great and I love that they are only a 3 minute walk from my house.

Such a wonderful experience for my first time. The staff is professional, friendly and attentive. They took great care of our princess during her time there. They did an excellent job giving her a nice even cut. She looked like a show dog!! The workers genuinely care for the dogs that come in as their own and that's what makes this business wonderful. Great spot! My furry friend used to be terrify to groomers but after I took it to Mimi's Vip pet salon he loves it now. It makes me very happy to pick up my dog and see how happy he is there. I highly recommend this place to anyone

I have been bringing my Airedale Terrier there for many years! They always do a wonderful job on her full grooming! They are always so sweet my dog and she does not mind being groomed. Keep in mind that my dog is 75lbs and can be difficult to groom. She even gets a aloe bath for her sensitive skin. Always the best!

We brought our dog Sparky (cockapoo) there for the first time. He received the worst haircut in his 14 years. I don’t know who actually cut his hair but was told Mimi would do it. The haircut was very choppy, some areas were shaved almost to the skin while others areas wereleft with patches of hair. The area around his face was half shaved and half left untouched. I know he is part poodle but they gave him the worst looking French poodle furry tail, it looks ridiculous. I know some of his hair was a little knotty but this outcome was very disappointing. Mimi even spoke to my wife about shaving the dog and how bad it could be for him but he was shaved anyway. I also feel the pricing was unreasonable, especially with this outcome. This was the first and last time we will ever visit this salon.

If you love your pet, and want them in the best hands possible - this is the place to come to. This in "one of a kind treatment" that is top-shelf professionally done. Your pet is absolutely pampered here. Very, very clean. Outstanding service. Prices are below the surrounding area and lower than the "big pet store". Very affordable.

Mimi's Paws N' Claws are amazing!!! I love them. I am an over protective dog owner and I am always hesitant to leave my dogs anywhere. I finally found a place where I could leave my three dogs and know they are being pampered and cared for like I would. She knows how to perfectly trim my long haired doxie and my other doxie suffers from dry skin and she walks out of there with a shiny and hydrated coat. I like the products they use and I could tell that they are not cheap generic products. I highly recommend them.

I feel the grooming is great. My dog is well cared for while being groomed, however the person to takes the call can become rude. He does not know how to accommodate.Although I would love perfect customer service all around, my dog always looks and smells amazing.

Great job, but lacking on service. Everytime I call the person scheduling seems to have an attitude and there always seems to be a problem when I drop-off or pick-up my dog; however, Mimi's does a nice job considering my dog is difficult.
