Great subs, pre-cooked foods, and fresh local vegetables, etc. You can't walk into this place and just buy one thing, everything is great and they put out different items throughout the week. O they also have a great butcher shop and the meat is cut fresh to your order. I have never gotten chop meat with the center being brown!

One of the best roast beef hoagies I’ve had. In-neighborhood butcher on top of just a market. They can fresh grind beef and get you any cut you want.

One of the best places to go to while in Haddon Heights. Hoagies are phenomenal, using high quality D&W meats and cheeses. Chicken Salad is easily the best I've ever had, no exaggeration here. Local farm fresh produce. If you haven't been, it's worth the trip to Haddon Heights.I highly recommend using their Sirloin Ground Beef with Chuck Roast Cubes to make some of the most phenomenal Chili of your life.

My wife and I used to live around the corner from JFM and we went there all the time. We've since moved a few towns away....and we still go to JFM all the time! Their hoagies can't be beat (especially for the price) and somehow they manage to fit everything you could possibly need in their store. On top of that the staff is always friendly. Highly recommended!!

Take a step back in time when you walk through these doors. Everything from soup to nuts to get busy in your kitchen. Even have butchers in the meat dept to help you with your orders. Drop bye and see what I mean.

This place is great for subs. Never had a bad sub! There assortment of meats in the Delly is great and cut on site, all fresh. Need chop meat they grid it fresh every time. They also place out assorted cooked foods through out the week and every visit you will different item all of which is tasty. My only problem is I go in for one or two items and I come out with ten. They always have something you must buy.

First off, the prices can't be beat. The subs are just executed perfectly. Full of all the stuff you love, lots of options, and even the bread is fantastic. This is my favorite sandwich stop.

John's friendly market lives up to it's name! We love going to get sandwiches after a trip to the library for story hour! When you're a kid you make out great! Samples of cheese and pretzel rods! We live our little home town shop! Also good to know you can get fresh red house bagels!

Have been shopping @ John's since before it was John's Friendly Market and had 6 candy bars for 25 cents Friday night only 6pm to 8pm. Great hoagies & sandwiches meat,deli stuff here, and yes friendly too, great to still have a store like this in town still, can pretty much get everything here, John's daughters and son in law doing an awesome job keeping this going, check it out

Service is generally good and the deli is always great, however a few weeks ago my sister and I were walking out of store right after purchasing a few things, and the woman who checked me out started insulting my sister and I and commenting on the length of our uniform skirts very loudly before we even had the chance to walk out the door. Appalling experience.

John's is always a great place to shop. A neighborhood instution, I have frequented for 30 years. We love the seasonal fresh produce, deli including fresh, reasonable hoagies and wonderful meat selection. We love to stop in here for every quick pick up. Spend your money locally.

If you grew up in Haddon Heights, this place was a cornerstone of your childhood. It's a corner store with a great selection of products and some delicious house-made hoagies, but it's also a living part of the town's history. Long live John's Friendly Market!

Super great service, food was awesome. Jersey fresh strawberries were priced higher than I would have liked but the quality couldn't be any better. Very happy with this market and plan to do more shopping here.

Like the name says, friendly small town market. Great hoagies (better than Wawa's) st decent prices. They have a butcher, and they excellent meats (pricey compared to the supermarket, but better quality ).

Beyond friendly, helpful, and invested in service. Today I was invited to the back-area cooler to get the local Jersey-farm silver queen corn, just because it would be even fresher than the ears on front-of-store stand. And when the day comes when I can't walk or drive, JFM will be delivering right to my house...I wouldn't be surprised if they put the food away for me!

Different rules for cigarette buyers is discrimination. $10 min to use debit if buying cigarettes. $9.66 and since part of that 9.66 was a pack of cigarettes I couldn't use my debit card.But the limit is only $7 if not buying cigarettes ?!?I would love an explanation of how you justify this.

I love how nice they are and how helpful! They have a lot to buy they could be your grocery store! Her are some thing they have eggs,milk,ice cream,cereal,coffee,peanuts,fruit,bread,and candy and lots of other stuff! If somebody doesn't know when it was made it was made in about 1925 hope it helped you or a friend!!!:)

Amended my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars - the grilled chicken on Tuesday for the last month has been burnt on the outside and undercooked on the inside - dangerously under cooked - this is sad because before the last 6 weeks I really looked forward to Tuesday dinner from here... stick with the sandwiches, see belowKiller subs in an old school market - with overpriced but well chosen produce and other goods - nice to see a mom and pop gut it out - phenomenal and I mean phenomenal hoagies

The Coffee tastes like Dish water?The kids that work there have 0 Manors? I’d like to see someone take it over who understands Good Customer Service!And the Floors are filthy.Some one call Gordon Ramsay-Deli Nightmares!
