Ok, my first time here and I was hungry! The waitress - who was great - told me that the Strombolis were BIG and she was not lying 😎 The medium was maybe 15 inches long - I wear size 10 shoes and as you can see...🤣Great service, big portions and nice outdoor eating area. Definitely coming back!

I placed an online order for pickup for which I had a reciept. The older gentleman preparing the food was extremely rude and refused to accept the order I had already paid for because "their machine was turned off".I've been a frequent patron of this place because it's convenient and I like the subs, but after this experience I will absolutely never be coming here again. If I could give half stars I would.

Great casual spot for pizza, Italian food and general lunch & dinner fare. We stopped by after a trip to Bluebird Farms Alpaca and the owners recommended Gladstone Market. Glad we did, the service was great, the food was even better and the atmosphere out back was relaxing and comfortable. Apparently Gladstone Tavern next door is just as good but with a bigger menu and not as casual as Market.The starter bread with oil and garlic was out of this world, fresh, warm, little crisp on the top w/ soft fluffy in the middle.The back patio area overlooks a nice little creek and just creates a laid back, relaxing atmosphere that would be enjoyable on a date or as a family (all the above were present on a Saturday, 6pm). Split into two tables of 6 and the waitress (Emily I believe) did a great job of taking care of both tables plus the others she had. Prob room for approx 20-25 total on back patio and they have a small indoor dining area with multiple 2, 4 & 6 top tables.Apps, meatballs (huge, great flavor), fried calamari (good, nothing earth shattering) and garlic knots and moz sticks for kids (must have been good, lasted 2 mins).For the pizza, they were happy to make a gluten free from one of the kids and the rest of us shared large plain, large peperoni, large 1/2 plain, 1/2 onion (all 3 thin crust) and a large Sicilian peperoni & mushroom. All the pizzas were fantastic. The crust was crispy on all of them, including the thick Sicilian pie. Sauce was unique and delicious. We're usually thin crust pizza lovers but the star of the show was the Sicilian, thick crust yet light and fluffy but crisp bottom. One of the best Sicilians we've had.All in all a great dining experience, highly recommended! Cute little town, great service, great food, outstanding scenery.

We've had lunch here about 10 times this year, and we really like it. Wish we had discovered it 24 years ago!We've had a few Summer dinners on the back patio sitting by the Raritan river headwaters, just a babbling brook at this point. It's enchanting! Try it!

Fun little spot with good food. I love the tables out back with the lights, and a great scenery. They should consider covering the trash (like putting a fence around it), so it's "nicer." Lots of locals and dogs here. The service was a tad slow, but I think it's because there was only one waitress (short-staffed). Otherwise, this was a nice spot for lunch and we will be back.

One of the best restaurants in the area. Whether you're coming for breakfast lunch or dinner they have amazing food. Their chicken parm and penne with vodka sauce and chicken is out of this world. Don't forget to check their daily specials on the facebook page that are always so good. If it's nice out, they have seating out back to enjoy the day and sit by the stream.

Came here for the first time. Ordered the roast beef sub, but they were out of roast beef. Instead I ordered the cheesesteak and home fries. The steak was not cut up well, the cheese wasn’t melted, and the tomato was cut so thick it would pop out of the roll when trying to eat. The home fries were alright but somewhat lacking in taste. Also surprisingly took a long time for the food to be ready. Not sure if it was a bad day in the kitchen or if this was normal. The menu looked super interesting, but unfortunately I was left severely disappointed. I don’t think I’ll be back.

I was a pain in the butt asked them to removed the inside of the bagel and Oscar didnt even think twice. It was so yummy, two Sunnyside up eggs cream cheese with slice of ham and yellow cheese.

Gladstone Market is such an affordable, convenient place to get lunch or dinner in the area. When the weather is nice we often eat outside on the back terrace. When the weather gets colder, we do takeout. Everyone is friendly and professional, the food is reasonably priced and consistent. We're fans!

After a year of not seeing my neighbors and friends we decided (10 of us) to finally venture out and have lunch at the Gladstone Market. Although we have lived in town for many years we never knew they had a beautiful large deck in the back. It overlooks a wide running stream, it’s shaded with gorgeous trees and is just a beautiful, relaxing spot. We never knew! The food was served quickly, they were friendly, we had everything from sandwiches to pasta and it was delicious. We stayed for over an hour and nobody rushed us out. I noticed they had decorative lights outside and that they are open quite late for dinner. My husband and I will surely stop by for that as well. Please check this gem out. You will love it.

Been going to the Gladstone Market for 35 years. The past few years they have expanded their menu. The food is quiet good. I know it's amazing but they have a more extensive menu than tje Gladstone Tavern next door. Stop in and try one of their dinner specials. You'll be surprised how good it is.Parking: Parking on the street or in the firehouse parking lot.

This has been my go to local spot since moving to the area. They have the fairest pricing in town, and their food is our favorite in the area. Plus, the staff is incredible. Even when they’re seriously short staffed, they always put out a great product in short time. But to really appreciate the greatness of Gladstone Market, you need to try their catering. I’ve catered 100’s of events across the country over the years with more caterers than I can remember. I can say with certainty that Tommy and the team at Gladstone Market are the gold standard. They far exceeded expectations, took extra steps to ensure that the process went well, and never tried to oversell product. I’d strongly recommend them for any catered event, or even just an easy night of take out.

We got here just at closing but they still made us food to go! Garlic knots are super garlicky, Caesar salads very fresh and pizza not too bad either. If we're in the area, we'll come again!Vegetarian options: Seemed like enough good options for me as a vegetarian.Parking: Plenty of parking off road next door.

Surprisingly versatile menu - they have everything. And it’s super delicious & well priced. I loved sitting outside in the back by the river that flows through town. At night they turn on some beautiful string lights & the ambiance is awesome. Highly recommend for a great local place & easy to get to off the main road of 206!

This is a hidden gem. Fresh, delicious food and cooked with love, you can feel the love in every bite. Owner was very attentive and cordial. This place is a MUST for any meal. And leave space for the best chocolate mousse you will ever have, silky chocolaty goodness!

I got take out that was just a tuna sandwich. The sandwich was delicious but at over $8 it seemed kinda expensive. You can eat in there. They sell pizza and other hot dishes. The place seemed very clean. Service was quick and courteous.

Really like this place, very friendly atmosphere. My grilled chicken sandwich was perfect, not soggy, on perfectly toasted bread, delicious. Will be back soon!!!
