Been using Franklin Lakes animal clinic for 7 years. We use Dr. Jack but all of the vets there are great. Scheduling is easy. They always find an appointment if my dog has an issue. The assistants and reception are diligent and helpful. The office is new and clean. I would never go anywhere else!

The Doctor Wendy Kozak is exceptionally kind and knowledgeable. Her nurse was also very kind and caring. I feel very fortunate to find Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital so near to my home.

Had used a previous vet for years, the quality went down and prices went way up- a misdiagnosis which proved fatal, forcing me to wait days for an emergency, ect ect. Shopped around for vets and didn't "love" and feel the trust needed for my fur & feathered babies. Had an emergency and someone suggested Franklin Lakes, & they took me that same day (it was a Saturday!) Haven't looked back since. Every vet is awesome, the entire staff is super friendly, and appointments are easy to get. Trust them so much that I drive 45 min to see them, and it's worth it!!

My daughter and I have been going to Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital since Dr. Welch first opened it. We have several pets and Dr. Pomerantz and his team of doctors and staff are the best. They feel like family; very caring, very professional and I know my pets are in great hands. They are always there for us.

Hello all pet lovers,I can't say enough about the Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital. It's really second to none. I've been involved in animal rescue for thirty years. I've rescued animals on the street. I've trapped animals for rescue. I have between 5-8 rescues in my house at any given time. This place is special. If you take wild animal to any animal hospital in our area they euthanize it, yes the big places too. This hospital was started by an amazing women that really cared for animals. Unfortunately, her life was take too soon. The vets and the care they give at this hospital are second to none. They are compassionate and knowledgeable. Also, they have the ability to run a lot of diagnostics in house.That being said I want to thank Donna personally. Donna is probably the most dedicated animal lover I've ever met. She has saved so much wildlife. She made me feel great that people like her still exist. I've brought her so many rescues, even a baby field mouse and she never ceases to amaze me how she rehabs all these animals with amazing love and her connections. I've worked with at least ten animal hospitals and this is the best hands down. You should support Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital and this is not because of any other reason than they really care about animals better than anyone else out there.

Literally the best experience at a vet I’ve ever had. Dr. Greenhut was absolutely amazing with my cat who is definitely not the best behaved when it’s time to get checked out. Between her and the vet techs (who were also incredibly sweet and patient) they were able to get her through an exam somewhat peacefully (which was a miracle). I usually don’t write reviews but I had to share this experience because in the past I’ve actually been sent away with her half way through the visit because of her aggression towards the staff. Dr. Greenhut really worked her magic though and I am so appreciative.Side note the entire staff was super friendly and professional. Overall great experience, highly recommend.

I found an injured rabbit in my yard and Wayne Animal Control came out immediately and took him to Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital. When I called to enquire about the Rabbit, Donna took the to time to explain the treatment the rabbit was receiving and his progress, which was very comforting to know how well this poor animal was being cared for. What an amazing place and amazing staff with exceptional service they provide. 5 stars are not enough for this hospital.

This wonderful animal Hospital was one of the very few that was willing to take and care for young injured wildlife. Donna is so unbelievably kind for taking abandoned baby animals and nursing them back to health. I am so so grateful for places and people like this! I can not even express how amazing these people are.

Absolutely wonderful facility. Folks, experience counts much more than textbook knowledge. These are experienced doctors who know and understand clinical signs and how to read them and translate them into a proper diagnosis. Competent, caring, experienced, and professional - this place IS what you should be looking for in an animal hospital.

I've been going here for more than 6 years now. In all that time, I've had nothing but fantastic experiences with Dr. Kozak and the rest of the staff there. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. They're also professional and extremely knowledgeable. I've been through about 5 other vets in the area, some good and some bad. None are as consistently excellent as Franklin Lakes. Instead of being rushed out the door, Dr. Kozak takes her time and listens to you. She is always happy to answer questions and discuss different options. She's also fantastic with my extremely nervous dog. I can't recommend Franklin Lakes highly enough.

I had scheduled a new puppy visit @ 2:30pm . I traveled about 40 mins just to get here. I got held up in traffic and walked in the door at 2:44pm. Took about a minute for the front desk to ask for myPets name to greet. The lady at the front desk was very loud and said said “wow you’re late” we have a 15 mins window. No hello no anything!!!I said well it’s 15 minutes now. She said but you haven’t filled out ppwk. I told her the paper work was already filled out and emailed. I could tell by her tone that she did not want my 3 month old puppy to be seen. She told me she was going to ask the doc to see if the puppy could be seen. Comes back 30 seconds later and told me they could not see him. I tried explaining that he needed a visit within the week and she cut me off without hearing what I had to say. She stood on her computer typing and telling me she could not find any availability at all. I am so disappointed because first we were not properlygreeted and welcomed. It’s a shame because I was recommended to this animal hospital by a long time client of theirs and she said they were amazing! It’s too bad the front desk receptionist who is the first face you see treated me and my puppy like we did not matter. I told her we didn’t need an appointment because we were not coming back! It felt like she was racist and because I did not look like her or any of the clients in there she treated me like garbage. I had request to see Dr. Onesios as the primary and Dr. Kozak as secondary. My appt was scheduled with Dr. Kodak. The person who has referred me are friends with both doctors. Shame on the lady at the front desk! Looks like she needs etiquette training as well as diversity and & inclusion training. SHAME on her!!

They are the best in my professional opinion. I get reminders and phone calls regarding follow up care. Finally I have found a place that's Cares. And now my 11 year old lab is walking again without surgery. And my 6 month old could not be happier. Thank you!!! Picture is sleep time for my 2 Angels.

WE JUST RESCUED A KITTEN, AND CALLED OUR LOCAL FRANKLIN LAKES ANIMAL HOSPITAL TO GET SOME INFORMATION ABOUT SPAYING THE KITTEN. FIRST SPOKE TO AN EMPLOYEE NAMED "TANYA" WHO WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. ***READ OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON RUDE RECEPTIONIST** EVEN THOUGH I WAS VERY POLITE IN MY INQUIRY SHE ANGRILY SCREAMED THAT PRICES ARE HIGH ON EVERYTHING AND ARE GOING UP EVERY MONTH BEFORE I EVEN FINISHED ASKING THE QUESTION. SHE YELLED TO HOLD AND NOT INTERRUPT HER AND THEN TOLD ME THAT SHE WILL NOT SPEAK TO ME OR GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T LIKE THE TONE OF MY VOICE AND HUNG UP.??? I CALLED BACK AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER, "ANGELA CAME ON AND POLITELY GAVE ME A PRICE OF $989..TO SPAY A KITTEN. NOT SURE IF $1000 IS A REGULAR PRICE OR "GO AWAY" PRICE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

We LOVE this animal hospital, from the staff to the docs - their knowledge, warmth & genuine love for our beloved pet is simply unmatchable. Dr Jack and his staff - THE BEST. Our dog literally RUNS to the door excited to see everyone, they're so amazing with pets.

This hospital is one of the best ones I've been to and I've been to many places in the area and in NY. I've seen multiple doctors at the practice and has been satisfied every time. They take extra care of all my pets. The staff is all super friendly and very accommodating even when I had emergency visits. I just recently brought my Guinea pig in to see Dr Ward. She was truly amazing. I usually see Dr Onesies but she wasn't available this time. She is also amazing and super sweet. Dr. pomerantz too, all excellent doctors. They treat my pets like their own. I highly recommend this place. I trust my pets are in great hands. I'm very thankful for all the information they have given me even when I call with just random questions about food for my cats and issues they were having.

Outstanding emergency care!I used Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital for over 15 years and was always happy with the vets and office staff. I moved away 3 years ago and developed a greater appreciation as I tried one new vet after another. Today my elderly dog had a medical emergency. Even though she was no longer their patient, Dr. Pomerantz stayed late on a Saturday afternoon to see her. When we pulled up a technician rushed outside and offered a gurney or any other help we needed. Dr. Pomerantz clearly and compassionately explained her diagnosis. No expensive tests or overnight stay. My dog is back home curled up with her buddies and all is right in our world.

The staff is so friendly! My dog had to get surgery for having bladder stones and they would call me to give me updates and I was able to call them anytime to check in on him. <3 <3

Came here only to put my almost-22 year old cat to sleep - and the rush was on...First time here - and don't think I didn't notice you were rushing me out at such an important moment, Doctor? You really wanted to get out at 4pm on that Saturday - hot date? The soft baby-talk was not comforting but quite insulting. And your cold assistant got me quite awestruck at being asked to pay for the bill before actually doing your services!!! - like I'd be running for the door without paying if I didn't 'pay now', as she kept insisting... later the cashier telling me how some people are "too emotional to pay the bill later" - really? This wasn't my first rodeo (or animal hospital), but the pressure both to leave and to pay was uncalled for...ESPECIALLY during an 'emotional' time.... Never coming back - any pet (and their owner) deserves better !!!!

We were so fortunate to find this place and bring in a baby squirrel that fell from a tree and injured its nose. Poor little baby was so fragile and frightened when we found him. It was probably the 5th place I called, and it started to get frustrating as no one could help us for their own reasons. But Thank God, someone recommended us to try Franklin Lakes. Donna was on the phone and assured me that they would take good care of the baby. So, we drove here and couldn't have been more relived after meeting amazing Donna and amazing girls who work with her! They genuinely love animals and do their best to take good care of them! Now, we are confident that our little buddy will have a good life in the wild after he gets his medical treatment and goes through rehabilitation. Grateful beyond words for the compassion of Franklin Lakes animal hospital team!!!

The front end person that I dealt today with was the rudest person I have the misfortune of dealing with. She never even looked up and literally walked around as I was speaking to her. I am going to request my dog's records and find another vet. She is the first impression and if a place allows that, I will go elsewhere. That is NOT acceptable..

I noticed a lone gosling living outside my window at work. I called several places and FLAH was the only facility that responded with urgency and kindness. Thank you for helping this little guy! Thank you Donna and staff!

All the staff was very friendly. Dr. Onesios was so nice and took the time to thoroughly understand my concerns and provide a solution so my cat would be relieved from her itchy skin. She also gave me great relief in saying that they would figure out what is causing the itching. I really get a sense that she wants to help her. I am definitely making this place my primary vet for my cat from now on.

I unfortunately had to put my senior rabbit to sleep. Everyone at the hospital was very caring, kind and compassionate. The experience couldn't have been any better for the situation. Thank you to the staff.
