I have now brought both of my pets here 4 times now, and I have not one complaint, as a matter fact I highly recommend. They take their time with you when you drop off the pet to ensure they understand what you want the final look to be. They are so gentle and caring with my boys. I have always loved the results. The store offers a variety of items for you to purchase, my favorites are the candles.

Mina is hands down the kindest, most loving person ever. Her ability to make my baby comfortable for years, and always mastering her craft is amazing. I love the way she genuinely loves and cares for my dog and the outcome of her haircuts are always 10/10. This location is so cute with so many options to shop for our fur babies. Highly recommend.

July 2023 Update:Benji gets the sweetest summer cuts by Dana, who really listens to your wants, also makes great suggestions on styling, and is so very friendly and loving. I told her Benji needed a special cut for his birthday and it did not disappoint! Benji gets stopped every day we go outside, I can’t help but refer other pet owners to Pet Story. Perfection as always.Plus the new expansion of the store allows for even more yummy treats and cool toys! Can’t wait to see when it’s completed.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Such a wonderful place referred to me by my friend. I took my cavapoo puppy here for his first grooming when he was 4 months old. He’s 7 months now and goes about every 5 weeks to see Shara, who is a godsend. She is so patient and kind, has great recommendations regarding haircut styles, and I fully trust leaving Benji with her. He comes out with the most perfect puppy cut and a happy wagging tail! I’ve never had a bad experience, I tell all my other pet parent friends about Pet Story, and will keep coming here. Shara you are amazing!Also, Benji goes crazy for the beef short rib bones they sell in the store!

I love this place... they have the best goodies for your pup. The staff is very professional and attentive to your pets needs. They are very helpful in picking the right cut and grooming service. Our groomer Shara was amazing, but she no longer works there, so Joy has been grooming our Fur baby. And she exceeded my expectations. A 10/10.Most importantly, my fur baby leaves looking beautiful and always happy, which is a great sign.

I have been a client since their edgewater location and can’t stress enough how important it is to me that my dog receive the most compassionate, quality care possible. Orion gets that and more from Christy. She has earned my complete trust In our two year relationship. Orion went from being very nervous and difficult to snuggling with Christy and loving her. There has never been a surprise at the price or what cut my dog will have when I pick him up. I am always greeted warmly by Daemon and the crew when I call for an appointment and the store is very pleasant. This is really concierge service for your dog and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pet Story and especially our angel, Christy .May 2023 update: we have added a Samoyed to our family. I would never dare tackle such a high maintenance breed without Christie. Orion adores her and Persephone will too!November 2023Orion just got groomed by his Christie today. I love that I can drop him off and completely trust her to deal with his knots and his drama.Feb 2024Christie is still the love of Orion’s life and is making friends with his Samoyed sister. We love her and trust her implicitly with our dogs.

I Love this store!!! The attentive staff, healthy products for our beloved pets and the opportunity to see all of the beautiful pups coming and going for grooming UPDATED WHEN I CAME WITH A PET !!!!!!!!!!!I went in today 4/20 with my nephews 12 soon to be 13 year old Blue Nose Pit. He is very well behaved, does not bark. But boy did I receive the cold shoulder/prejudice behavior from the owner. Clearly I am not Korean and did not have a small dog with me. She literally stood and stared as I was paying, basically making herself a barrier from a Korean customer with a small dog. If the pup was not expecting the treats I was purchasing for $35- I considered walking out. I will NEVER NEVER RETURN TO THIS BUSINESS THAT OPENLY DISPLAYS PREJUDICE. Hope she losses business for her poor judgmental and very rude behavior. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

Pet story is one of the best grooming salons in town. I have been bringing my dog here for years and wouldn’t trust anyone else. They are so friendly and so nice and they take such great care of my dog. From just basic baths to full grooming I highly recommend them. Our groomer Yaeji is amazing! She gives my cavapoo Sophie the best haircuts and she always coming home smelling fresh and clean for days. Whenever Sophie sees Yaeji she runs to her with excitement. Yaeji is so gentle and takes such good care of my girl. We love Yaeji!! They also have specialty snacks for dogs and cute items for your dog which makes going here such a treat.

Excellent grooming services for our dog. The groomer listened carefully to what we wanted, was able to achieve what we hoped for, communicated clearly about how long the services would take, and was kind enough to give us a call 30 minutes before our dog was ready so we could get back in time to pick her up. Our dog looked and smelled great and was super happy. Thank you!

Very cute shop with courteous employees. No other pet specific shops in Fort Lee (mainly only see groomers and vet clinics), and the supermarkets are very limited in what pet related items they sell. It's great to have Pet Story within walking distance, especially if you don't drive or want to go into the city. Glad I found them!

I was recommended this place by all our neighbors. I didn’t request their groomer but gave them a chance. I asked for a specific look and poofy tail. I showed her an old picture. The face looks nothing like the rounded face I wanted. I hope to try them again for overall his groom was clean in the rest of his body but for his face which matters. I was impressed by the clean undershave and paws. I was very disappointed initially, but they offered a touch-up to make it more to my liking. They also explained why it’s hard to make him look like his old picture and his hair texture. They were accommodating and have superb customer service. Would recommend. The store has a lot of goodies and treats. They carry all the good brands for reasonable prices.

First time visiting today but definitely going to come here from now on. Mina did such a good job with Bell that our family is obsessed with his new haircut. My dog especially looks less stressed and anxious compared to his previous groomer so definitely a big plus.

We are just so glad that Pet Story has expanded to NJ, and we've been here 3 times for our pet toy poodle to be groomed. Iris is always so hospitable and friendly each time we make an appointment for Pluto and constantly plays with him whenever his grooming is done. Shara always welcome Pluto with a huge hug whenever he stops by for a groom. As soon as Pluto leaves Pet Story, he would whine as if he wanted to stay longer and have fun there. I can honestly just say that this place is like a family to Pluto. Thank you Iris and Shara for your constant effort and patience in taking care of Pluto. He will always look forward to seeing you guys whenever he gets groom. Love you guys!-Pluto

We stumbled across Pet Story by accident one day when walking around Fort Lee and it was the best thing that could have happened. We’re first time puppy owners and our Loki means the world to us so coming across such a great store with amazing staff really put us at ease. The store has a large assortment of dog goodies (treats, clothing, etc) and every time we go we walk out with something for our little prince. They offer a grooming service and today we took him for his first groom…we could not have asked for a better experience. Dana was amazing making sure Loki felt comfortable and loved before even taking him in. She asked what we were looking for and what was recommended. A few hours later our little angel come out looking amazing! When we picked him up he looked like he was as comfortable as he would be in our home. My wife and I are never taking him anywhere else. Thank you guys so much for loving and taking care of our baby!

My puppy has been groomed by Mina before, but when we moved away it was hard to bring her back and forth so we had to take a pause. We went back to Mina when we found out that NY Puppy Club reopened in Fort Lee from Edgewater. She did a great job on grooming my little girl once again. I recommend her grooming services! I also appreciate that the groomers are now visible as they are working because it makes the customers feel comfortable and we can trust that our pets are getting the upmost care and services that they deserve!
