Daiso is a Japanese brand that’s equivalent to US’s 99 cents store. But items are more unique, diverse and at times, chic. Daiso is also very popular in South Korea and in Korean language, Daiso literally means, pun intended, ‘we have everything.’Indeed this Japanese mart has literally everything you need for the house and school. Dinnerware, snacks, gardening needs, clothing, stationary, cleaning products, etc., just name it and they have it. However, the quality of their products are suspicious at best. It’s fun to browse through the mart. It’s fun to purchase a thing or two you may need. But beware, these things will not last long.

SHELLY is extremely rude . Price on the shelves said differently than on packaging but the shelves were full of the product and being a store manager I am aware that that is not okay and is false advertising so it is suppose to be given the price that is displayed. I let her know and she said “ well it’s $5.50 and pointed to the price with a smart attitude. And then very rudely said “ well do you want it or not.” So I went to go take a picture of the product so I could contact corporate about it ( due to the rude behavior of SHELLY or else I would have let it go) and my boyfriend heard her say “ well that’s not my fault” when I walked away. Extremely rude and I will make sure corporate knows about this. Shelly needs to be taught customer service.

Great little spot to get your little nicknacks for your little projects and not break the bank. The things here are good quality and you might not find them elsewhere. Also, there might not be prices on the packaging. If there's no price on the package then it might be $1.99 but check the signage to be sure.

Love this place! There’re alot of useful household items from here. I always love browsing in this store. I also love how they had 2 self check cashiers available, but signs weren’t too clear so no one really know.I never shop for snacks here because I feel they’re a bit pricey especially when there is a supermarket literally right across the street. But i love browsing at all other items!!

Fun little variety shop. Lots of unique items and an easy to navigate layout. They had lots of snacks and housewares. We liked their Hello Kitty selection too.

Expect the unexpected! Accessible, clean, organized. COVID-19 compliant. Well staffed, tidy. I swear there's something for everybody, and wonderfully affordable. Bags cost $.20/ea. so bring some. You can also buy some cool reusable bags there.

A neat-freaks delight. Like what heaven must be like for tidy people. Like a dollar store, but super organized and neat, and with things you will actually find useful.I don’t really know how they do it, but I’m glad they do. You will find a lot here that you won’t find at other discount stores. The best thing about Daiso is how you feel on the way out: Peaceful, calm, unstressed. Whoever is in charge of designing the user experience at Daiso deserves an award (if they haven’t already gotten one). I recommend looking through the snacks, stationary, kitchen, and storage.

The hour drive was so worth it! However a lot of things are still made in “China” choose wisely when shopping. I was so excited to shop here. I figured everything would be made in “Japan” which was disappointing to notice that most is made in “China”. Aside from that it’s great stuff for the value!

I love this store! I love the Japanese aesthetic, the sleek space saving look and the cute, fun designs. Daiso has everything for the home. If you want to organize and have limited space, Daiso is for you. They have things you can't find anywhere else at really great prices. I find something new everytime I go.

Finally a Daiso store opened in the area. Grand opening was crazy busy but organized and lines moved quickly. Most items in the store were $1.99.It feels like any other dollar store to be honest (except 2 dollars in this case) and mostly items were made in China with some rare made in Japan items. I've been to Daiso out on the west coast and it had a more luxurious vibe than here.

every time i come here… i end up buying one of the bags by the window next to the registers. I SWEAR THEY HAVE THE MOST MINIMAL CUTEST PURSES. and they all cost me less than $4 lmfao. i love designer bags but i haven’t even thought about spending thousands of dollars since seeing these bags at daiso lmao.

Great little "Japanese dollar store". It is not really a dollar store, but they have really cute and cheap items from Japan. This is a chain if stores that is widespread in Japan. Perfect forcute little presents, little kitchen gadgets and japanese snacks.

Neat store with all kinds of knick knacks as well as the usual home goods, all at reasonable prices. You can mess around and easily end up spending $100+ here. Excellent overall experience, highly recommended.

This place was so cute and what anyone could want in a Japanese store in the U.S. It looks like any other store, but once you go in, you’ll find lots of cute stationary, accessories, umbrellas, and other household items you could certainly use on a day to day basis.Everything here is in Yen (and a different currency I do not know), but when you pay, you pay in dollars like any other store. It’s super cute and I got a whole bunch of things like colored pens, cute Japanese umbrellas, and those hair headband things to push your hair away from your face when you want to do your skincare.Beware when you go in here though: quite a couple of things here are pretty cheap in quality, but you get what you pay for. I would say that it is similar to Dollar Tree, Family Dollar and Five Below combined.

Love this place. Most things are $2. Plenty of Japanese snacks and kitchen/housewares. I hear it’s much larger than the one in Flushing but it’s not as big as the ones in Cali of course. There’s parking in the back separate from Mitsuwa. Will require multiple visits to really see everything in there.

I have always wanted to go to Daiso. And when I found out this place was on our way home I asked my mom to stop. Now this Daiso is a bit more expensive than other stores. $1.99+ instead of the $.99 Daiso's in New York and Texas. I know that doesn't seem like a lot but for 30items I spent $80. Unfortunately the candies weren't priced so I found out from my receipt they cost $3.99 each. I wouldn't have bought them if I knew that. However I did find a lot of useful items. The Mickey mouse car hooks, I wish I bought a few more. The cat clothing hooks, Bag clips shaped like cute animals, and a plastic cat ice cream scoop so it doesn't melt your ice cream as fast. I definitely would love to come back here but unfortunately it's a 2 hour drive from where I live.

I always stop in daiso stores If I'm in the area. The Scarsdale one is still my favorite in the ny/nj area but this one was lovely and staff were helpful and polite. On most trips I leave with a few Japanese candies or snacks, some adorable stationary or paper goods, and a new small gadget to make things like storing food or items more convenient. Highly recommend!

A very nice Japanese lifestyle store that sells decent Japanese goods. There is a large selection to shop from and price varies. Service is very good. The place is clean and organized.

Visited this daiso on October 30th decided to buy these biscuits. I didn’t really like the taste and they tasted weird so I only had a couple before I put them away. Decided to check the ingredients and my eyes spotted the expiration date it expired well over a month ago. Do the employees not check the dates before putting items on shelves or what? Disappointing

Great store selling Japanese snacks and other essential household items, anything from toiletries/towels to kitchenware to school supplies. Got this Japanese cafe au lait drink and bag of chips from the store.

Such a cute little store, located in the same parking lot as Mitsuwa. I bought sticky notes that are really cute for only $2.12.

Nice Japanese convenient store with a variety of items. They have stationary, snacks, drinks, kitchen supplies, tools, clothing, beauty supplies, toys, and etc. They let a certain number of people in due to COVID-19 and there’s hand sanitizer at the entrance. On Sundays they don’t sell certain items such as electronics, clothing, and etc. Overall everything is pretty cheap and the prices usually range from 1-5$.

I LOVE DAISO! They got my through Japan when I lived there. Plenty of cheap supplies that are still sturdy and many other fun goods. Warning: limited selection on Sundays because county rules won't let them sell half their merchandise. Glad I don't live here because if you need something on a Sunday you might as well leave the state.
