Prices have gotten way too high for no change in quality. Why am I paying less for better quality items at WHOLE FOODS? Don’t even get me started with the pathetic “sales”, saw an item “on sale” for $0.21 lower than usually priced. What a bargain. End caps are incredibly crowded and cannot pass other customers with carts easily.

I use the self check out registers A LOT as I typically have very few items and I’m bagging my own groceries anyway as the cashiers no longer seem to even offer to help, plus lines are LONG at the manned checkouts. I ALWAYS seem to run into some trouble….like ”checking item’s weight…assistance needed”. or, my bag happens to fold close and when I adjust it, suddenly there’s an unknown item in bagging area…assistance needed. The way shop rite has set the sensors in their equipment is ridiculous. They make you feel like you’re a criminal every time you check out (like you’re trying to sneak something into your bag). If you’re going to have self check out registers, you shouldn’t require assistance from an employee nearly EVERY time you use them. But, I will say, the employees have been very helpful lately and attentive to when a customer needs assistance.

Your front end sucks. I don’t work for you. I am tired of finding one cashier open and the rest is self checkout. This wouldn’t be so bad if the registers didn’t stop the transaction process every other item, then you need assistance. 3people are working the floor to help you, that is if they are not too busy talking amongst themselves or they are their phones. Great Customer Service. I have been coming here since the store opened. What a disappointment. The rest of the store is fine

I live in South Carolina, but whenever up North I’m sure to bring my coolers and do some shopping at this ShopRite, The cleanliness of the store is absolutely wonderful, the bakery section is amazing , the food already cooked is great,the meat department top notch .Wish I had a ShopRite near me .

Bought custom inflated balloons for my son’s birthday. A few hours later they were deflating. Took pictures. Customer service was horrible and rude. Didn’t even offer to credit me. Just gave me a hard time about it like it was my fault and my problem. I’ve shopped there since they opened and will never go back.

The Shop Rite at home team is A++The store associates are very kind and helpfulHowever in store visits since I became disabled are no longer a pleasant experience.Going through the front foyer is several promotions and alive with patriotic music.Well and good.BUT if you are disabled and in need of a motorized scooter you’ll just have to keep on hobbling all the way past each of the registers to where the scooters are jumbled into a tight area. So tight in fact it’s easy to stumble and fall getting to one that’s fully charged. Then you have to backtrack to enter the store area. To me this setup makes absolutely no sense other than the store preferring they aren’t used.Still giving 4 stars as the floor associates are very good people

I’ve been coming to this ShopRite for years and never really paid much attention to the bakery display up until recently. I ordered a custom fruit tart with Kadaja and it was amazing so so fresh and delicious my family and I loved it. She was the sweetest person I’ve met in a while customer service was astounding. I came back another day and ordered a birthday cake with my husband, I gave her a jumble of design options and she was able to combine my ideas and make me a perfect cake design for my daughter. Extremely moist and the frosting was perfect.

This Shoprite is a little closer than Wegmans but is no longer less expensive than Wegmans. I may switch to Wegmans for the majority of my shopping.

The quality of the products here have really gone down! I brought chicken breast from the deli it was bad it smelled so sour I’m not sure how the staff didn’t smell it while slicing. Also bought lamb chops from this location that were literally discolored at the bottom! Money wasted and during these times and prices wasting food and money is completely unacceptable! With kings and wegmans so close I suggest trying those stores before wasting your money here

This place has everything you can imagine and a bakery department to die for. I live in Florida where we worship Publix bakery but it doesn't even come close to this. Just got this adorable Yule Log for the holiday and we had it tonight and amazingly it tasted even better than it looks. So light and delicious. And that was just one item! Awesome store, don't miss out on the bakery and the prepared foods and Chinese food station.

Had to find a worker for gluten free wraps other then that all good..Hunter was so kind to grab me a bag of ice at the self check out and Omar came around at the perfect time to help me with the number for the lemons. Way to have two people on it. Thank you for a very quick lovely shopping experience. I litteraly went in for 4 items and I stuck to it lol.

On March 25, 2021I had finished my shift and I wasn’t feeling good.The next day March 26, 2021 I went to the doctor and I had walking ammonia and my lung was filled with 90 percent of fluid.On March 28, 2021 I had emergency surgery to drain the fluid out of my lungs.I had called shoprite on March 27, 2021 and talked with Mr Doug explained the situation.On another time I had called and spoke to Pat Bishof in Accounting to speak to a assistant manager and Pat said there was no one available to talk to me.I was out of work for two months and Shoprite never filled out any kind of paperwork for short term disability and I was left penniless.Shoprite had fired me because they said I had not called them or showed up for work in one week.I had the social worker from the hospital fax them a letter that I was in the hospital and shoprite never gave me back my job.This is the way Shoprite treats their employeesVernon Hopper

Excellent ShopRite. They rarely run out of stock, except the recent pandemic of course. Lots of World Class selections. Not overly busy at most times. Great selections on most items offered. Their prepared food are quite good also. We often get the fried chicken because of the quality and price. Three self checkout is annoying, but that's the new trend these days

The catering at this ShopRite was terrific!The online ordering was a bit rough as my cart automatically emptied a few times as I toggled through the screens. After a bit of patience, I was able to re-select my items and schedule a pick-up within a few days.The hodgepodge of platters consisted of a crunchy salad, sushi, chicken nuggets, sloppy joes, and pulled pork. All dishes were fresh, flavorful, and tasty.The pick-up location and sales associate at the front of the store was extremely helpful. They gather the catering items for you while you wait whereas my local SR has the customer hopping between each department to pick it up the platters. It's not a big deal however the added convenience that BRSR provides is appreciated.

One of the better ShopRites in NJ. They have a great bakery and prepare food section. You can also bring your own containers to refill nuts, granola, etc. The parking lot isn’t too tight and it’s right off the highway. The store was clean and I didn’t have any issues with the staff.

I was there to pick up lunch last week and had a terrible experience. one of the workers in the area you get food that's made was really rude. i asked for help but she wouldnt help me and said she was too busy and rolled her eyes at me. her name was christine i think. i didn't get a good look at the name tag, she was just really rude so i put down my food and left. i would have said something but i was so annoyed i just left and went to quick check instead.

The store is very clean. The aisles are a bit small and our cashier was very abrupt. Sent me on a wild goose chase for my cash back. She put it in my receipts and I didn't see it. What a dilemma. Otherwise the store is very nice.
