Highly, highly recommend ----- Super friendly staff and super responsive. Pricing is more than reasonable. I've been a lifetime pet owner and been to vets all of over NJ and this is by far the best clinic I have seen. Kudos to owner and all staff making a huge positive impact on the community. 07/24/2023: I have been bringing my dog here for years and always had a pleasant experience with the doctors; but the front desk people are horrible. I just found out my dog has cancer and when checking the schedule they were saying they couldn't get me in for 6 weeks to remove the lump. I asked if they could try to get me in earlier since it was urgent and the lady instantly gave me attitude about it - why?? Because I am concerned about waiting 6 weeks to remove a tumor that is cancerous? Then I was quoted something in the back that was a $50 difference from my final bill and when I said something about what they quoted me, she gave me more attitude and proceeded to say it was not that big of a difference! I What kind of response is that? It isn't so much about the fact that they couldn't get me in earlier or the fact that the prices were misquoted but it was her response and attitude to everything that was absolutely unacceptable. They proceeded to tell me she is just the front desk lady....what exactly does that mean? She's excused from having an attitude because she's just the front desk lady??? Just disgusting behavior all while I'm dealing emotionally with finding out my dog has cancer. They definitely need training on some better mannerism and how to handle the customers inquiries.UPDATE: Had the surgery done within 5 days at another facility that was recommended by a friend. It turned out to be a mast cell cancer which is a rapid growing cancer so who knows how big it would have been by the time Chesterfield would have been able to schedule me for surgery 6 weeks later. It is crazy that they did not take this whole situation more seriously and prioritize her surgery given the circumstances. Luckily the new doctor that I took her was able to give her the necessary treatment she needed in a timely manner and her surgery went perfectly with a successful tumor removal with clean margins.

Wonderful experience. I called looking to schedule an appointment for my sick gecko and to ask for advice in the meantime. They were able to get me in right away and were incredibly kind on the phone. When I arrived, everyone was so friendly. They treated my gecko with care and kindness. I have had some lackluster experiences at other places when taking a reptile to a regular vet, but they were very attentive and knowledgeable here, including the receptionist. I highly recommend visiting if you have a small reptile.

It’s tough to leave a review, especially a negative one, on a business that I’ve never been to, but sometimes it is necessary. Being new to the area, Chesterfield Veterinary Clinic came highly recommended, and the online reviews give them mostly 5 stars.Well, a few months back, we called and left a detailed message. A week went by then 2 and we still had not heard from them. We called a second time and also left a message. Again no reply. We even drove by the office to see if they were open. Yes, they were.After several weeks we called a different veterinary clinic that actually answers the phone. We got an appointment the very next week.So, maybe Chesterfield Veterinary Clinic is too busy to return calls. Good for them, great business model. I’ll even give them a free pass on not returning our calls, but what I won’t give them is my business.

Our family recently adopted our first dog and based on a friend's recommendation we took her to Chesterfield Veterinary. We have been absolutely thrilled with our experience! The entire staff and doctors are pleasant and wonderful. They have been very supportive of us with all of our questions. They have been accommodating to our schedule, and they were always willing to schedule follow-up appointments for us when our dog had some negative reactions to her spaying. Highly recommended!

We have been taking our three dogs here for years and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. The vets and vet techs are kind, patient, knowledgeable and compassionate. They are also always happy to help and extremely accommodating. It is truly a pleasure to speak with everyone in this office and I love that they treat our pets like their own. I also very much appreciate their commitment to health safety precautions during the pandemic. So grateful to have CVC!

I never have to wait long in the waiting room to go into the exam room, and I never have to wait long for the doctor once I’m back in the exam room.Overall the visits are always very quick and efficient, while not feeling rushed.The doctor (I still haven’t learned her name, I’m bad with names sometimes) is very kind and seems like she genuinely really cares about her patients. She is very informative and is receptive to my questions and doesn’t make me feel like an idiot for asking them.

Excellent service and quality of care here. My cat needed a tooth removed and they were incredibly patient, helpful, and transparent in describing the procedure, the before and after care, pricing, and what to expect. We’ve been taking him here for just over a year now for his regular checkups and they’re always very gentle and patient with my shy boy. It’s good to have a place I feel safe bringing my pet to, where I know he’s going to be very well cared for.

Friendly staff, clean facility. Called for my puppy and was able to be seen the same day. The appointment was stress-free on my puppy and the doctor was very knowledgeable and helped get us an answer about what was wrong quickly so we could get my pup healthy again ASAP. Their prices were fair. We will be transferring my other 2 dogs to CVC as well!

Worst customer service ever! I called on a Thursday and left a message to get a call back but never got one.After the holiday (July 4th) I called again on Tuesday and left another message. I got a called back (I believe her name was Ashley) and was told that they were booked the rest of the week. I asked if I can come in next week and she said eyes usually can go from bad to worst. And that was it. No other information, no other suggestions.. just that, she didn’t even say another word after that. I was like… okay… thank you??I guess I need to call another vet even though my other two dogs go here? Or call an emergency room? I have no clue what that meant. Thanks for no help at all. I can I understand if they are busy and I can’t get in… but would have appreciated some type of guidance.Had to look up another vet clinic/hospital.

Love this group and my dog loves going there. Dolores always greats us by name, my dog is so excited to see Kimmie. The vets are very knowledge and thorough. If your pet is sick, expect to spend some money, but it is worth it to have the right answers and solutions. They have Xray and blood testing on site so had info promptly. I drive an hour to get to them since I moved, but I won't go anywhere else. Can usually get an appointment same day or they will also take as a drop off if you are an established client. Great group all around, very caring and kind.

I have been taking my 2 year old dog here since he was a puppy, as well as my guinea pig family. Dr. Skolnik is the best and I have the utmost faith in her, as well as the staff. They are always very friendly and take the time to explain everything if there's a problem. They are also very good with answering all your questions. I've never felt like they were "out for your money!" These people genuinely care for your pets!

Dr. Lanzetti and the staff at Chesterfield Vet are a Godsend! Not only did she save our cat's tail (with honey, no less!) after a car accident-- when a local emergency vet told us we'd have no choice but to amputate it-- she recently helped us with our little Chihuahua, as well.Our twelve year-old chihuahua was in need of a teeth cleaning (to put it lightly!), and the staff at Chesterfield Vet took excellent care of her. They took the proper precautions to make sure the anesthesia would be as safe as possible for our petite pup, even with her heart problems. The estimate they gave us was very reasonable and even with three additional extractions, the final cost was less than I expected it to be. (I mean, does that ever happen?) Our chi has social anxiety, but the staff was patient and calming and so great with our pup.At the end of the day, when I came back to pick up our chi after her teeth cleaning, she was in the arms of one of the staff members who was cuddling her and wiping her runny nose. They had no clue I was going to walk in when I did, and I'll never forget how great I felt when I witnessed that. The whole day I had wondered if our pup was anxious and wanting to come home; and when I picked her up, she didn't even want to leave! When I got her home, I noticed that they cleaned her up so nicely, too. She looked and smelled so fresh and clean, and I think they may have even clipped her nails for us.Today marks one week since her dental surgery, and she's doing great! She's happier, she's bouncier, and I just get this feeling that the teeth cleaning and extractions are the reason. She is already enjoying life more than she did before the cleaning, and I'm so glad we trusted that process to Chesterfield Vet.The staff at Chesterfield loves our animals as much as we do, and I can't speak highly enough of the level of service we receive there. I originally learned about Chesterfield Vet through a friend, and in turn, I recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a professional, knowledgeable, affordable and loving practice for their pets.

They always take great care of my best friend and furry child Smokey (Pit bull Terrier). Always gets lots of love and great care! Even though I moved an hour away from this place, I still take Smokey to them. That's how good they are.
