On our way to Cape May NJ & not wanting to stop at a rest stop we found this place & glad we did. It's a sports bar with a dining-room. Clean and nicely lit. The service was excellent, from the hostess to the server. The food was tasty and prepared to order. I had the chicken sliders with sweet potato fries and hubby had the short-rib cheesesteak with shoestring fries. He really enjoyed his meal. I did too but my fries needed an extra minute or two in the frier and the chicken was small and they are already sliders so the chicken should be the size of the bun, but in all fairness everything was very tasty and fresh.

Almost all my reviews take place at lunchtime recently with friends. Today we went to the Stonefire Grille and had a very nice “lunch special” and sat undisturbed for well over an hour while we talked.For lunch special, you have two regular size burgers they call them sliders and shoestring fries and a domestic beer for $15. I believe really good lunch deal and it was several others including, you’ll see the video of the tacos. These were enormous and my friend a good size guy with a nice appetite got one taco down and boxed the others to go home - and rightfully so they were huge.The burgers were cooked perfect I asked for medium rare and that’s exactly what I got on your typical hamburger size bun bun two of them probably 4 ounces each perfect burger two is a meal and especially with the fries. I ordered them well done and they came out just like I wanted them.I’ll be back here again maybe next week and have my other friends show you their meals. It will be the first time for both of them to come here. But I added it to my list of places that we can go to lunch within driving distance for everybody .The server was great. We saw him four times the whole hour and a half that we were there. I really like that when they see that we’re busy chatting that they leave us alone. Just watching to make sure anything is getting ready to be refilled.In the videos, check out the interior it’s nice as sort of a chipping wedge shaped area along bar that opens up two way pretty rectangular dining area, which is very casual. A lot of stool type chairs for high seating.After a while, the place filled up with people, but the noise level was more than acceptable, even though it was probably a good 3rd to a half filled by the time we left, but we were never rushed to leave. I love that.So finally, we have great service. We had really really good food and decent atmosphere. Can’t really ask for better of any place that we would have lunch. It’s right there at the top.Update February 16, 2024Just went there with two other friends for lunch and both were very satisfied with the two hamburgers and fries lunch. They were $12 each I believe and I got chicken Auge, they’re actually fish tacos, but you can substitute it.I have included three videos. I believe that show you the nice quiet place they gave us. I told the girl when we got there that we wanted to sit where it was quiet we’d be a while and she sat us off to the side. It was quiet, peaceful she was a tent of enough. And we all had good food. So I upped the atmosphere of this from four stars to five because it does have a very quiet dining area and then an eating area around the bar on two sides and a huge bar itself. It’s a little bit of everything for everyone.Just to let you know the majority of the crowd at lunch up till 3 o’clock when we left, yes, we were there for three hours, was mostly in the table area around the bar and very few people in the dining room separate. So I was able to take these shots easily , but three hours and left cared forward, but not bothered as a nice way to have a lunch with friends. So it’s still a thumbs up from me.

A friend of mine recommended the Hanger Steak and Tomato Salad.It was good. Could have been seasoned more, and the waitress forgot to bring the tomato salad. The asparagus and potatoes were good. The steak was cooked medium rare and had great texture, just lacked flavor. The asparagus had more seasoning...Only meal I've tried there, and I definitely want to try their wings, so I would go back. Clean and nice vibe. Good music.

First time, went with my wife sat at the bar on a Saturday afternoon.Lunch Specials fantastic. Beer offerings nice. Prices of everything well within GREAT.Service at the bar by a French girl named Barday... also known as Nicole. Extraordinary personality and efficiency. Everything and more one would want in a bartender.Highly recommend.

Our waitress was amazing. Our wings came out 5min after we orderd and the sauce was tasty but the chicken tasted precooked ,old and dry . We ate 3 wings each and our entrées came out rite after the apps. Please clean your soda dispenser your sprite tastes like mildew. I gave this place 2 chances 6 months apart and came up with the same results. Unfortunately will not be back.

Every once in awhile a restaurant that we have visited stands out from the rest as being exceptional. The Stone Fire Grille in Beachwood is one of them. If I could give them 10 stars all the way around I certainly would. Our server, I believe her name was Bonnie, was outstanding, cheerfully describing menu items in great detail to our party of six. We were seated at a table in a nice quiet section of the restaurant. Prices were very reasonable. Service was quick and friendly. The food? Freakin' amazingly delicious! I had the grilled cheese french dip sandwich filled with shaved roast beef and carmelized onions. This should be against the law it was so good. Others in our party had the same as me as well as burgers, pulled pork mac n cheese, a cheesesteak, and a regular steak dinner. Every one was perfectly prepared and largely proportioned. Those who couldn't finish it all took the rest home in containers....nothing was left to toss. They even had Dr Pepper which to me was icing on the cake. This place is now my number one go to in the Toms River area. So glad our dinner group decided to come here this time instead of some cookie cutter nothing special overpriced chain eatery. The difference in effort the Stone Fire owners and staff put into their place is like night and day compared to what we have experienced elsewhere. Thank you all for a great dining experience.......

I never really thought about going into this place for as many times that I drove past it ,I always gave it second thoughts. But let me tell you I was sadly mistaken if you're into chicken wings this is the must go to place they are unbelievable all the other food is fabulous except the pizza do not get the pizza it's horrible that's the only one thing I have to say about it ,but otherwise the atmosphere and the help are fantastic you have to go and check it out it does not look like much. I got dragged in here by a friend of ours screaming that the food was great and she always goes all the time to get the wings ,we had a fabulous time a definite go to place, I only live 15 minutes away LOL.

We are not from the area and this place was a great find!!! Food was absolutely spot on and so tasty. We have a dog and were able to sit outside. Everyone was so friendly both staff and patrons. I don’t think our dog has had that many pats and rubs. One more shout to Bonnie our waitress. She sat down with us discussed menu options and answered questions about the area. She’s top notch customer service

Updated Jan. 27 2023 The SFG cheese steak was excellent. It is truly unique using short ribs, perfect french fries and a great sub roll. The wings are always the best around. Entertainment was also good.Nov. 11, 2022 The grilled hanger steak has to be one of the best steaks around. Chargrilled flavor is amazing. Instead of the potatoes I swapped out for the incredible mac & cheese (best around.) This adds to the SFG having the best chicken wings in Ocean County. Always great food at SFG.The SFG truffle mac and cheese is the best I ever had. Enjoyed with cold beers and they also have great pizza. Try the pepperoni and chopped onion. It never disappoints.

Good amount of food that I was able to take half with me. Fries were amazing. Waiter was busy and did not come to our table to check on us. Also, discrepancy in price of the mimosas. It was rectified.

My wife wanted ice cream and espresso for her birthday. We stopped in here and as they brought our coffee out they informed us their delivery hadn’t come and that they were out of ice cream. The owner John, walked across the street and got my wife an ice cream from the ice cream parlor. I don’t think I’ve ever had an owner go above and beyond like that to make someone he’s never met happy on her birthday. This was our first time here but we will be life long customers!

We went here last night and Maryann was our server. She was EXCELLENT! Very attentive, personable, and extremely awesome!We occupied her table for hours and our bill was about $210. My husband and I paid the bill and the others were to tip.The guy, his girlfriend, and her daughter left this waitress a $9 tip! She nicely explained and he threw her a couple more bucks, not nearly what it should of been! Thankfully we got in touch and were able to rectify the situation with the waitress because she didn't deserve that or the bad review the cheap lady who's meal was paid for left!!
