Large store with large amount of products. Surprisingly organized and clean. Nice that they give food to people over the age of 62 for free on Fridays. Love that I can still smell the unfinished wood from the old mill store that used to be here. God I miss that place.My only complaint is that I was back in the area getting work done on my car so I was walking around a bit to kill time and I happened to walk in the direction of the front entrance of the store shortly before opening (as it was the safest way to travel from the road to both this plaza and the bordering plaza with Staples) and was met with a store employee yelling "9 O'CLOCK" at me. Which, I knew that already. To put bluntly why I have a problem with this, I work at a store where we have usually a line of 3-5 (usually more) people waiting to get in sometimes as early as a whole hour before we open. Never once have I, nor anyone else working at the store I work at, yelled at the customers to come back when we open. Seeing as this is also a place that provides free/discounted food, I can't imagine how poorly people would be treated were Stratham to ever encounter a noticeable homeless issue of any sort. I imagine part of their reaction was fueled by my very run down looking clothing and my more alternative-oriented style of dressing. Why would I dress in my Sunday best for an 8am tire change appointment during my vacation week?

Always a large selection of unusual items at Ocean State. You can't always find the exact item you're looking for, but the prices are right. The store was organized and clean. The staff was pleasant.

Always find something good here, just have to check food for expiration dates and such. Just like any other discount store, just check prices and look the product over first before buying. Have found a few items broken or expired in the past.Still same. Always double check the price. Found a good deal on an item but it rang up 35 over the listed price. Had to have them change it, thankfully, I had looked at the price on the item...

It's good that we have a store close by and it has most everything but the prices can be surprising. Some food is cheaper at market basket, the sizes for clothing and shoes is always limited. The best buys are in the spring, outside rugs,plant hangers,outside patio cushions and garden supplies 🤗

There are some good deals and sales here. They seek to not consistently put things in expected areas. We shouldn't have to hunt someone down to find out where general items are, but we had to. Prices aren't always marked either, but some prices on some items are good.

Nice place friendly staff had to call Lynn for a hot plate. The staff was nice enough to find it and put it aside. Much easier than going into Walmart and dealing with that mess. Keep up the good work at this location.

Typical ocean state job lot store. During my visit only one young guy was working while the rest of the young females hung out up front eagerly waiting to close the store. I was able to get what I needed and then I left but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to get to this location in the future.

It's good for paper goods, trash bags, hats mittens, bathing suits, some make up, area rugs a nice art isle with cavas and acrylic paint/ also water color thrift food, awesome candy. The checkout lines are dreadfully slow. Only about two registers. I am updating my review to 4 stars because at Christmas they added a toy isle which has remained. This is HUGE and the dog isle is AMAZING nice dog beds toys and puppy pee pads.

Love the bargains here. Also stocks food and cleaning items. Cheap books and art supplies. Good selection of stuff. Saves me the trip to a bigger faraway store to buy things like blinds, pots and pans, rugs, towels, socks, gloves and such.

Sorry that I have to give them a 3. The staff is very helpful taking you where everything is located. The return policy needs to be updated. I have been shopping at OSJLots for many years but don't forget your receipt. Your phone # does not work and neither does your email, any email you have ever had. Insider card duh. My info has been updated but still nothing works VERY FRUSTRATING..

What an awful placeThe customer service here is worse than 1 star. Id give it -10. I was pretty much physically assaulted by an employee who was RUNNING through the store with boxes. I was approaching him from a peependicular aisle just walking straight he came around the corner and smasged into me. No apologies.. Didnt even stop to ask me if i was ok. When i spoke to another employee she didnt care and told me seeing the manager just wasnt an option at the time and didnt offer to take me information. I left feeling violated and unvalued . After another few terrible incidents there" including being blatantly ignored by the employee at the cash register.. I smiled said hi how are you as i plaxes my items on his counter with his light clearly on. He proceeded to make eye contact turn his back take off his apron and stand there .I said excuse me and was ignored and then heard him say he was going in break. I was within 5 feet when making eye contact and saying hello .. That's just a crappy employee. This place makea you feel like dirt. Isnt worth saving a few bucks.. Ill pay more to go somewhere where im treated with simple respect.

I just left the Store in Exeter NH. The female cashier there is very sick. Coughing terribly and helping customers. I dropped my items on a shef and left the store asap. Maybe too late though because to get out, we had to walk by her.
