Increasingly difficult to interact with employees who don't understand English. Especially during checkout. It's obvious they haven’t a clue about what you are saying. Either that or they act like they don't to avoid doing something you've asked of them. For the love God, at least make sure they can interact with properly with customers.

The Stratham MB is small in size and the offerings can’t compete with their mega Seabrook branch. What I like, they do go out of their way to show you what you’re looking for and It’s a more convenient place for me to shop. I can find most of my needs, including their 2-Lb. bag of frozen shrimp 16/20 count. Last night’s app. was Shrimp Cocktail w/homemade sauce. After defrosting, rinse several times and pat dry. They stayed plump and were very tasty. They also plate well.

Cashier speaking Spanish to other employee while I was in line. Did not even say good evening or thank you when I was done.Not a racist, just plain no customer courtesy. I'll make the drive to epping

A cashier accidentally covered me in wine and shards of broken glass, then laughed about it. Horrible experience. After waiting a very long time in a very long line, the cashier dropped a bottle of wine belonging to the customer in front of me, covering my lower legs in wine and broken glass. Then the cashier and the bagger looked at me and the other customers in the very long line and laughed out loud. NO ONE OFFERED TO HELP ME. I left the store, bought bandaids at Shaws, and went home to clean my clothes and bandage my ankle. I contacted customer service and received an automated response promising an actual response in one to two days. No response came. Honestly, everyone should just shop a Shaws from now. It's more expensive but much better overall. Market Basket doesn't seem to care about its customers.UPDATE: I just received a phone call from the store manager who offered his "sincere apologies for the incident." I said thank you and he ended the call. While I appreciate the call, I am not planning to return to the store. As I said, I'll shop at Shaws.

Fun, helpful people. I rarely shop anywhere else for my household needs. It would be nice if they carried more Sutton farms chocolate almonds cuz I love 'em !

Be very careful of "Managers Specials" in the Meat Department.They will sell you bad meats and Poultry that are already rancid!I bought 4 Racks of fresh Leidy's baby back ribs at the Stratham NH store,Froze them The day I bought them in a chest freezer, -15 degrees.Opened 1 today, and it was aweful.I'm done with bad meats, poultry, and produce from MB.

Great deli selection. Friendly staff, but a bit slow if you are in a hurry it will take at least 15 min to get through express line. Always friendly staff so I never mind the wait.

Cramped, dated, doesn't feel especially clean, long lines, awkwardly inconvenient impulse purchase bins... All the bad traits from 1970s grocery stores in one place with no extra savings. Go a half mile further to the Hannaford's on the left.

Good prices, clean, friendly, produce could be a little better and bathrooms are a little scary..Still pretty much the same. Stock is usually pretty good. Meat prices are starting to fall more in line with other local grocery stores unfortunately, they used to be a bit cheaper. Needs more organic veggies...UPDATE: So had first handmade sub from the bakery today. Dang great sub at a dang great price. Well worth it, will go back. All the ingredients tasted fresh and they have a pretty good selection. Not going to find a good sub at a better price.

Stratham store is way to small for the populated area. Lines are always way to long. They treat many people like thieves. They don't do well with keeping allergy friendly items stocked. They don't make an effort to bring in any new items for people with allergies. This store doesn't have any help and the lines are always really long. Your average wait is 20-30mins even with 12items or less. The normal lines can run 40-50min wait time. Don't even get me started on their bathrooms that are beyond unsanitary. This place breaks so many health codes and should honestly shut down and rebuild!

I'm extremely satisfied with this place I've been going here two and a half years. They're the most Honest Caring for their Employees supermarket I've ever shopped that. Stay blessed. By honest I mean if you give them too much money they're giving you your money back. They honor all coupons you don't get ripped off at this place either. Everybody's happy and very courteous at this supermarket.

Recently moved to the area (Newmarket) and have been a customer of Market Basket for years. This location is by far the worst of them all. There is a wretched woman who works the register and is sometimes the front end manager that is bar far the nastiest person I've met to date. I've been there twice and have heard her complaining about her job, aside from the fact that she damaged most of my food purchases by slamming them into a bag. Was there last evening to purchase cold cuts and the deli attendant (overweight angry young man) proceeded to throw my order together and gave me an attitude. Hey, I know its Market Basket and not Roche Bros, but this place is at the bottom of the barrel in terms of customer service. Not a good look.

The isles are so cramped and the old folk who shop here are slow/disoriented and they have kids on check out, again slow. Harsh? Sure but, Im just trying to be in and out when in comes to grocery shopping. Prices on groceries are okay.

Went in for some flowers and there was a beautiful selection of very fresh flowers! There was also a large selection of plants. I was quite pleased.

It wasn't too busy even though it was after work on the day after a long holiday weekend. There were still only 2 registers open- a regular one and a 20 item or less line. I knew I had a little over 20 items but the regular line was 5 people deep so I opted for the express register. I feel like I got lucky since usually the lines at any mb are long...maybe the skeleton staff is what helps keep prices down in comparison to other grocery stores?

Market Basket has the best selections at the best prices. Staff are helpful and friendly. My only negative is the aisles at the Stratham store are narrow and often have displays that make it difficult to negotiate.

Good prices, parking isn't great and neither is the space in the aisles. Best part is that they don't do self check out. I love that they rather give someone a job than expect me to pay the same price for my groceries and be a cashier and bagger all in one as well. So good on Market Basket for not doing self checkout!

What a great staff. What I was looking for was out of stock, but the manager, Allen (?) offered me a substitute at half price, to match the price of the out of stock item, and walked me up to register to make sure it was rung in right. This is great customer service! Thank you.

Ive shopped at Market Baskets since I was a child. One of my first jobs was at one like most of my friends lol At age 40 i still go out of my way to keep shopping there too ♡ The Managers and Staff are Amazing at any of their stores! ♡ Just last week a Manager was stocking a shelf near by and over heared our conversation about a drink we can't find. Politely offered to look into finding the flavor my son wants. Also suggested another brand that has that flavor. He was so kind. I sadly had to say don't waste your time I've looked online even and I believe they don't make it any more. But we shall totally try that other brand that I didn't notice makes it :) R.i.p. Ice sparkling Coconut we miss you lol BTW He also tried the Ice sparkling Coconut Pineapple he said is really good ;)

Always reliable and friendly staff. Shelves are always stocked and look good. Does get a bit busy on weekends and such so at times it cramped and you can have a short wait at the register, but not an issue for a shopper like me. Would love to see the big store overhaul like other market baskets, but it isn't required.

I love this place. Great service and great savings everyday! They also have the best store brand items. Try the solid white Market Basket tuna, it's the best! And so is Robin, my favorite cashier!

This is my least favorite Market Basket in the area. It's older, small aisles and less square footage, but convenient, especially when I want to take advantage of their great prices for a few things. This MB has staffing problems compared to others in the area, awful checkout lines on a Sunday afternoon.
