This was my first time at this place. I saw lots of people eat here and enjoy it! We got two Reubens with fries, and a chicken finger plate with fries. Also, Onion Rings. My son had a mishap with his bottled drink and I got soaked. The waitress was sooo helpful. She saw it and ran over with towels to help us. Within probably 10 minutes our food came out. Best fries I've had in a long time, Tastes like home made! Such a cute diner. I love the old style of it! The little country store is so cute! What we heard they changed the diner around, so I don't know how it was originally. My son loved the moose out front too lolParking: Lots of parking outside the front of the building!

You know it's a serious cup of coffee when it comes in no nonsense paper. Best Ruben around. Scott, the owner, has run Miss Wakefield's for over 20 years, and he said he's had a lot of ppl stop in recently saying they've always drove past but now just stopped in.He makes his hash from scratch. The beef for the Ruben is boiled in house and shaved thinner than paper. The sauerkruat had a nice sweetness about it too

Awesome atmosphere cute place. Sunday morning breakfast is no joke here. Our waitress was super nice and the food came out fast.Was a little surprised how well done my home fries and sausage were but overall I would definitely eat there again and will next time I go to my camp.Also love the store has awesome finds and the woman was super nice to my children.

Always loved going here when we visit the White mountains in the summer. But today will probably be our last visit. We had breakfast and the total bill was $27.15 for 2. all we had whas an omlette and over easy eggs and one coffee, no juice. I spent less yesterday for lunch at a Chinese resturant with my daughter

Absolutely the worst service ever. Left us sitting for 15 minutes before letting us know you need to order your food in the gift shop. Definitely a local spot would not recommend to travelers.

Fast friendly service with good portions. Old fashioned diner. A somewhat limited menu and a bit over priced but I must say the chicken fried steak was excellent. Was disappointed with the side a beans tasted like it was from a can.

Great service and great food. Eggs always cooked exactly to order. Loveeee the homemade raisin bread. Forgot to get it today (got the Biscuit and Gravy special) - still so delicious. And affordable. Lots of ample parking.

We found Miss Wakefield coming back to RI from my son’s house in Conway. We were trying a alternate route from 93 . At first the pay in the gift shop before you eat system at the diner threw us a curve. Once inside the atmosphere and food were fabulous. Not having to wait for a check made it worth it. I had something I’ve always wanted to try; Chicken fried steak with gravy and eggs. My wife had eggs Benedict, both great. The owner came out and asked us how everything was and we ended up having a long conversation. He’s a very engaging and interesting person. We visit my son a few times a year and now we have a favorite spot to enjoy good food .

Not sure why there's complaints about the order at the counter and food is delivered to your table system they have here. It's quick, efficient and gets you back on the road swiftly. We loved it. Food was good, staff was friendly. Would def recommend you check it out on your journeys. Cute lil gift shop too! We'll def be back next time we come to NH!

A very well-known, homey diner worth stopping into in the area. Very kind folks, a cute gift shop in the front, and a concise breakfast menu, so everything is good! The iced coffee was especially tasty (Boston's best blend). Highly recommended to all passing through or locals!

Good breakfast food! Occasional long wait times during prime time but that's the same for most local breakfast places, especially during the summer. Great bulk candy selection. The jars have a gaskets that keep the candy fresher than other bulk candy places. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend stopping here!

Visited Miss Wakefield a few weeks ago. This is what a Diner used to look like. It was a step back in time. An old fashioned Diner with counter seats and booths. Great Service and good traditional Diner food in a spotless environment.
