I went today 3-24-23 to get all the supplies for my new aquarium. The man was very helpful and was willing to answer all my questions. The prices were very good compared to surrounding stores and all tanks were clean and plenty big. I will be using this store going forward

I went there to drop off an oversized pleco and was struck with how beautiful and well-maintained everything was. I couldn't find anyone to take the fish I had, and I was so grateful to Jay's for taking him.Jay himself was polite, businesslike, and understanding, and I feel very confident that I could not have left the fish in better hands.

Jay was really nice and helpful on the phone so I feel bad about a 2 star review. They do have a great selection but the customer service was awful. The owner was not there when we went so I’m sure it would have been different but the guy who was there is rude as hell and was in such a hurry he shook up my tetras so bad they were dead by the time we got home. He literally shook the bag like he was mixing a drink and flipped them all around. Not over exaggerating either. I don’t recommend going while they are busy. I won’t go back.

I have been coming here for about 8 years and this place and staff are hands down the best and I have lived all over the country. Locally they blow zoo creatures out of the water with prices. Customer service is better as well. Jays prices are much better and the quality is way better fish are all healthy.

Always been a fan of Jays. Great prices and no sales tax. Great selection of saltwater fish and coral. Good freshwater selection. Equipment for your reefs etc.Other notes. he uses copper in his fish only system, realize this when introducing them. Salinity is also quite low similar to a hospital tank.

They have it all but if salt is your thing you won't find anywhere within many miles with such a variety. The frags are amazing. This is a must see store.

Decent selection of fish, coral (SPS, LPS, soft). Fair prices. Store isn’t fancy by any means. Feels like you’re in a basement. Tanks could use a lot TLC, but livestock is healthy.

I wish I could give more stars!!! I got my 5 year old son a fish tank for his birthday. I bought fish and they died almost immediately, so I tried to figure out what the problem was. I went to petco and petsmart to test my water and had no luck. They told me it was fine. Finally my friend recommended Jays Aquatics, and the owner tested my water and told me what was wrong. He has been helping me throughout the process over 3 weeks. My sons fish tank is FINALLY working and with fish in it! The owner Jay always takes the time to explain how to do everything and he is very knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone for freshwater or salt water 100%!!!

I had picked up a Naoko’s Fairy Wrasse from Jay’s and within a week of it being in my tank, it had died. Alongside that, I’m now having an Ich outbreak and possibly a Marine Velvet issue with some of my fish that haven’t ever had issues. It’s really making me question how they go about treating incoming fish.

Best place to buy your fish! Hands down! I've been to many different pet places, I can't stress this enough! If it's anything fish related or in that area, this is where you should be shopping!!!This is the only place I'll go. Fish are always healthy! Never once have I gotten anything there that was sick or had amy sorta of parasites! Which I can't say the same for some other places. Fish, turtles, axolotls and of they don't have it they will order it for you! My experience was great with ordering! I ordered a dragon eel, unfortunately when it came in the worker wasn't happy. She said it wasn't acting right and showed me. Explaining why and apologized repeatedly. I felt bad it wasn't her fault and I trusted her, it's a good thing I did to! It died the next day!! I got my eel after a new one came in and he was gorgeous! Healthy and amazing to watch! Best place!!!

Owners are very knoligable of the fish trade. I go here every two weeks to buy RODI Water, a dollar for a five gallon bucket. They even sell pre mixed saltwater for $1.50 per gallon. They sell fresh and saltwater fish, and also has a nice selection of live corals and rock and food. They also sell hugh fish tanks 100 gallons and up.

I’ve been coming to Jays for years. I first came to Jays around 07, can’t even remember how I found them back then. Bought a UV sterilizer back then for a tank I had. Found it was a really cool store. Enter 2020, COVID 19, tanks were hard to get. I ended up back in fish, and needed a bigger tank. I previously bought a 75 from the big box stores and out grew the tank. I talked to Jay twice by phone, on the day I ordered my tank. I called Jay asking for the biggest tank I could get from Aqueon. He called me back, my option was a 150 tank and stand. I opted for it immediately, all he wanted was a verbal confirmation. Given the current state of the world, I thought that was cool. The day came to pick this monster up. Jay called on the day promised. As soon as I got there, he told me people were already interested in it. I wasn’t surprised, I payed him for it. Loaded it in my work van, and off I went. 5🌟

If you need something to do with Saltwater fish and don't already have it. It's somewhere inside this building. The selection is great and the answers you get to all of your absurd questions are even better. The equipment on site is unique and there is an ambience to the place that feels comforting.
