This is my local town market and I just love it. It has a very small neighborhood home town feel yet it carries a wide selection of products and produce. The store is always fully stocked and neat and clean making it easy to shop. The checkouts are super fast and friendly.

My boyfriend and I were at self check out ready to pay for our groceries but we were going to split the payment. We didn't know in order to do that we would need assistance and that it would have to be done at customer service. We told the associate before she printed our order out to bring over to customer service on what we were trying to do but that it was okay we are just gonna use one card to pay because we didn't wanna make it more complicated then it needed to be. She still proceeded to print it out brought us over to customer service and asked how we were going to be splitting it. So I explained to her again that we aren't splitting it anymore because we didn't wanna make it complicated. Then she responded with okay then how we paying for this and as she said that her coworker next to her made a snarky comment saying to her that they still could of split it for us. I apologize for the complication, then my boyfriend said he needed 10 dollars cash back and he got a dirty look for it. Then she handed the receipt to him aggressively. Then stared at us both with an extremely dirty look as my boyfriend put his wallet away. They never gave him his 10 dollar cash back either. The associates completely ignored what him and I were saying and were extremely rude. If you go to this store don't go to their self check out because if you need assistance you'll get treated so unprofessional by these associates

please find a better way to store your live lobsters. staking multiple lobsters on top of one another in a tiny tank while they’re still alive is inhumane. get a bigger tank, store less lobsters, or don’t sell them at all.

Staff is always great. Well stocked and organized. Offers food for people who have allergies or intolerances. Many of the staff members have been around a very long time. (Some over 20 years!). They know their locals by name. Great place to shop!

Hannaford advertises their app and the coupons supported within it. I clicked a coupon and went to my local Hannaford's. But I couldn't find the product. I was told they do not have all the products in every store. So basically I had gone there to get this one product and it wasn't available.I also clipped another coupon for $5 off when I spent a certain amount of money. I went there today. The coupon was not reflected in my total. I asked about it. The cashier asked me when I had clipped it, I said yesterday. She said, Oh it probably hasn't hit yet.This is unacceptable in the current day and age.

This Hannaford often has a few different plant based items that aren't found at the Hannaford in my hometown. Maybe because of its proximity to the college. It is set up differently than most Hannafords I've been to, and some of the organization doesn't make intuitive sense. For example, the juices and sodas are several aisles away from the water and seltzers, whereas those things are grouped together at other locations I've shopped at. That can be slightly confusing when trying to find categories of items. Other than that slight issue, I like this location very much.

Smaller grocer with a local feel. Not quite as fun as Trader Joe's, but nothing to get lost inside like a Market Basket. A tad pricier than both, but I can always find what I am looking for, so that's a win for me.

Always a good experience. They seem to keep their prices down. I don't like the fact they stopped selling, Feline Pine, the cat litter I use. Also the in store shoppers are always blocking the aisle, So you lose two stars.

Clean, well-organized store with decent produce and meats. Staff are pleasant and well-trained, and the store is generally well stocked with a decent variety of products. It is a medium sized store, so it doesn't have the staggering variety of newer stores, but it is generally adequate except for more esoteric needs.All this is by contrast to the new, much larger Market Basket store a few hundred yards down the road, which is big and glitzy but horribly disorganized, with a new staff that are pleasant but not well informed. The worst part about the Market Basket is the unshakable perception that the jumbled design is quite deliberate to force you to zigzag through the store. I am sticking with the Hannaford for my main shopping needs, it is a much more organized and pleasant experience.Addendum: be sure you've joined the Hannaford loyalty program and downloaded the app or gone online. They do a great job with coupons and regularly offer substantial discounts, $10 off $75 or $20 off $110... It adds up.BTW, their pharmacy routinely has the best deals with GoodRX too.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were well stocked and very clean. My only complaint was the higher priced roast beef isn't rare enough. That I blame on myself for getting presliced instead of having them slice it.

The staff at this Hannaford are always so friendly and courteous. I enjoy shopping here.There are always employees constantly caring for the produce and meat sections. The produce is nice and fresh.The store is clean & tidy.

We have been doing Hannaford To Go curbside orders for the past month and a half. I cannot say enough good things about the service we have received. I only wish I could remember the names of the employees I spoke with by phone so they could get the recognition they deserve. But truly everyone I’ve spoken with has been highly professional and incredibly helpful. I had a few questions the first time I ordered and spoke with two different people. They helped me manually update my order and went out of their way to help. When I thanked one of the gentlemen I spoke with for everything they are doing to help people safely get groceries in the midst of the pandemic, he said it is his pleasure and that he loves helping people in his community. I remember it was the day before Easter, and he was so excited to have a day off to be with his family. So well-deserved!! The second time we went, they accidentally charged us for an item we didn’t receive. Because it wasn’t going to be convenient to go back to the store to pick it up, they offered to mail us a gift card. Definitely above and beyond since I was simply hoping to get credited back for the item. And the employee I spoke with was so kind and apologetic. She spoke with a manager about how to handle the situation, and she’s the one who recommended a gift card. So nice! Today when my husband went to pick up our order, they gave him $10 off since they had to substitute a lot of items and others were unavailable. Again, above and beyond. Our shopper truly did such an amazing job following the substitution instructions I’d provided. Everything was right on! So thank you, thank you, thank you to the Plymouth Hannaford To Go team for providing such amazing and friendly service. You guys are awesome, and our family truly appreciates all you do!! :)

I love Hannaford in general, but some are even better than others. To me, it's about selection and customer service. And these days, with everyone so short staffed, I am always impressed by how cordial and pleasant the busy staff is!

Sad to share that Hannaford’s quality and selection has declined over the past year, particularly in fruits and rotisserie chickens. Last two rotisserie chickens were dry, tasteless, and lacked a decent amount of meat. Yesterday, I needed apples, and the bagged selections were mixed with soft and scarred apples, and the only alternative was organic( too pricey). In contrast, I went to Marketbasket( making me feel disloyal), and found an enormous selection of healthy looking apples, and just ate our rotisserie chicken which was $4.69, had more meat, was juicy and still hot. Come on Hannafords, you’re not going to outlast the competition w Marketbasket, unless you up your game. ( start with improving your rotisserie chickens!!!!!- a must have). I want to shop at Hannafords, but can’t rationalize sacrificing price, selection and quality anymore.

It was a nice store… nothing special about it spirit.. I purchased some grapes… which just so everyone knows have to be separated at the cash register so although my green grapes and purple grapes for the same price the poor cashier had to separate them all! She did so with a good sense of humor

The store is clean and beautiful. Very diverse variety of fresh vegetables and meats. I find it lacking in numbers regarding items on the shelves. And prices tend to run higher than other grocery chains.

Full disclosure I am not a Hannaford shopper. I don't have one near my home. I stopped in quick for a few items for a Birthday party I was going to. I enjoyed this trip. I stopped by the deli for some cheeses and I was a little particular with what I needed. The two ladies behind the counter were just wonderful!!! They gave my two children a slice of cheese and they were so funny and informative, they helped me pick a cheese for a sandwich tray. Overall the store was bright and clean. Very well stocked. They have alot of great things, better than walmart anyway. Large deli large seafood service counter. Huge meat section with a butcher staff right there. The cashier was adorable. Spoke to my children and was very sweet. Great place to shop. Wish I had one closer to my home. Thank You Hannaford

Hannaford To Go was everything it promised to be. Placed my order online, adding a few notes to some items (ie only substitute other fruit on the bottom yogurt or no substitutions if out of stock on a particular cereal). Found the parking spot at store, followed directions on sign; the person on the phone went over the few substitutions which were all good. Jared came out and loaded the back of my car-- noticing my cooler, he asked if I wanted my cold things in it and put the appropriate bags in it. Bonuses: he wore a mask, I didn't have to touch anything, he was helpful and friendly, everything was bagged in handled paper bags so no plastic and fewer overall bags. This service is so appreciated, and they did a fantastic job!
