Nice market with a wide variety of beers. Good size convenience store with a deli. It was clean and the employees were helpful. In a nice area with restaurants and stores. For a small place had a wide variety of items and in their deli. Gas prices were also competitive.

Don't let the humble appearance of a little convenience store next to a gas station deceive you - the MEAT here will meet your expectations. If you are looking for a satisfying mouthwatering quality sandwich at a reasonable price in the area, try this place. Generous amount of meats.Friendly staff, they can customize all your sandwich needs and make you a happy customer. The interior could use a facelift. I did wish the staff, especially in the kitchen, wore masks.Would definitely be back again.

We camped up in Woodstock for a week and had the occasion to visit Wayne's fir groceries and sandwiches. This place stocks all the essential items and has an old time small market atmosphere. The deli is fantastic and I can personally vouch for their steak and cheese sandwiches hot off the grill. One of the best I ever tasted!

Was very surprised by how much this place had to offer in terms of variety. Great food options for cooking at home or if you’re looking for something on the go. The beer selection was also impressive and very affordable too. Service was solid and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area

Can't believe I forgot to post! We went to Wayne's four times during our 3 day stay last year. Delicious sausage, egg and cheese, crispy hashbrowns, and the BEST Italian we've ever had. We CAN'T WAIT to return! See you in a month! 😊

First, let me say, I like this market, it has a nice "family" feel to it. They make some really good sandwiches! However, that being said, over the weekend I purchased two Rib-eye stakes, at $38.00They were so tough I had a hard time eating them. Now I cook Rib-eyes weekly and I've never had any this tough. I don't blame anyone, but I'll not purchased anymore meat from here. It's really a shame, because I 'd rather give my money to a local business.

Just finished a large Reuben sandwich from this joint, and you get a lot of quality and a lot of food for a very reasonable price.Large beer selection too—they are particularly well-stocked with local beers.

A favorite stop for food, snacks, and drinks. Great meat and beer selection. Love the grab & go breakfast sandwiches. Gas, too.

Yesterday we went in and bought food for dinner as we were staying up the road at a motel. The kid on 2nd shift was AWESOME! Though the food not so much. We stopped in there this morning looking for fresh coffee and the blonde behind the deli counter (misguided in Customer service etiquette) got sore when my boyfriend asked how long the coffee been sitting there, and she says "we continuously make it as it empties, but dunkin donuts is right down the street" Really poor customer service if you ask me. Customer service requires you to answer the question with a smile and treat all the customers like they're your friend. Maybe she was having a bad morning, or maybe she discriminates. But she sure was offering a flirtatious smile and and sweet talk to the 3 guys that walked up to her after us. Probably never go there again just because of her rudeness. She really needs to take some training in Customer service, believe me, I know it's sometimes hard to be sooo nice all the time. But if I can do it with the worst kind of customers, (and I used to work at BK and a multiple of different customer service places) she can do it with a customer that's asking a simple question.

I just got the worst sub of my life from this place. A large Italian with lots of hots L,T,O, provolone was the order. If I’m having a sub that’s my order so I’m well versed on this sandwich. This thing was a roll full of lettuce and onions with mayo, it was then turned up and very thin slice of ham, prosciutto and provolone laid on top then three wicked thick slices of tomato laid over that. There was one small heel of a pepper, I’m guessing that was my lots of hots. I had to completely disassemble and reassemble just to find a way to eat it. Just gross! Never again! Steer clear!

Since BP gas station had the worst pump speed at 0.1 gallon per minute or so (unreal), we found this place. Clean place, gas pumps as normal, and well lit at night. Also, don't look for Irving as it also doesn't exist doesn't the street from here.

Damn good food and one of the few stores that carry Moxie soda in the area.

I've been coming to Wayne's for years. They have a phenomenal beer selection and feature plenty of NH brews (which are great!) in addition to other great beers from around the country. My favorite reason to come, though is for the subs. A "small" roast beef sub is huge and you can get it with anything -- ANYTHING you want on it -- lettuce, tomato, pickles, green pepper, onion, hot relish, mayo, mustard, provolone. Classic New England style sub. Mmmmm. And after a redesign a couple years ago, they've added some grocery items, fresh produce, beer coolers. Great little store!

Amazing deli/sandwich section. The guy who made my buffalo chicken sandwich was friendly and made sure it was wrapped tightly for my big hike up the white mountains. Damn tasty too. Highly recommend stopping by here for a sandwich before you start your hike or for any occasion!

We needed frozen pizza and it got the job done. Close to everything, nice spot for some basics passing through Woodstock.

My 'go-to' when in the area. Delicious roast beef tonight, made by a real nice dude.

The deli section is amazing. We took some marinated meats to cook at our campsite and everything was delicious when grilled over a wood fire. The bourbon steak tips were divine and the parmesan herb chicken was delicious. They even had smoked pork belly. Give them a try, you will be delighted.

I was in town for a few days while hiking the Appalachian Trail. I went to a few of the big restaurants in town and none compared to the food from the deli here. I had the Steak and Cheese, Italian and then Egg Sandwiches and coffee for breakfast. Best food I've had so far in 350 miles SOBO from Maine to NH. Great beer selection too.

Stopped in for dinner, and to grab a sandwich for lunch while hiking for the next day. The gentleman at the front counter was great. The two working the deli on Saturday night 6/26 were extremely rude behind my back as I walked out of the business, which I heard clear as day. I had many chances to go back and buy food, gas, ice and other products here but I chose not to go back to this business because of their crude, classless employees. They missed out on a bunch of business.

Enormous excellent subs, great steak and cheese and cheeseburger subs, fresh cut meats, store made sausages are no comparison to grocery stores . We get our prime rib , cut to order every Christmas.Chris , the owner and butcher always eager to please the customer. Largest selection of beers I’ve ever seen . Don’t be put off by the outside ,shabby looking store . Filled with high quality. My husband and I have been coming to “Wayne’s” on all our trips to Our vacation place

Not your average grocery store! They offer everything you could hope to find from a larger market as well as a butcher shop with fresh cut meats. They offer made to order sandwiches were are never lacking in quantity or quality! Try the steak and chicken and they offer the best craft beer selection around.

We are lucky to have this wonderful store, living in Linwood can get crowded often but I can always count on Waynes to get me in and out with the essentials and more!

We were visiting from RI and wanted to grill some filets for our last night. We went here and there weren’t any in the case so the butcher offered to cut us some if we didn’t mind waiting a few minutes. We got them and they were BEAUTIFUL! We only had 2 hours to marinate them but it didn’t even matter. I have never had a more tender filet in my life!!!! And mind you, I like mine medium well. Considering going back this morning before heading back home. Do yourself a HUGE favor. Absolutely incredible!

Wayne’s is the kind of place the locals go to. They can make you any kind of sandwich you can think of, hot or cold. The food is wonderful and portions are quite large. Wayne’s also has meat marinating just waiting to be grilled. If that’s not enough they sell gas and are a pretty substantial liquor store. It’s also a nice place to hang and chat with the locals and other tourists while your food is being prepared.

Rude is an understatement. The ignorant dirt bags behind the deli counter made rude comments, if I heard them we would've had words, I was notified by another customer in the parking lot and was talked into not going back inside. She too was treated rudely and poorly. The wretched hag behind the register was well, what do you know? Rude also. It seems to be a pattern here with rude and ignorant employees. The place itself stinks, dark, dirty, disgusting and over crowded, I'm amazed they haven't been shut down.My GF and I frequent NH on the motorcycle several times a year , I've never come across such ignorant rude people while traveling then I did here at Wayne's. Take your chances people, the staff is horrible, and the sandwiches aren't much better. Never again, and I'm more then happy to spread the word.Chris, if you can see this, my follow up on my review.I have no desire to speak with you, this was not my first ill experience at Wayne's. The first time was July 2020, my GF and I went in to grab groceries and beer to bring back to our cabin to make dinner, the staff was rude, quick to dismiss and we chaulked it up to a long day day.Second was August 2021, we went in and were greeted by your rude staff behind the deli counter (again) when my GF ordered a sub, only to turn our backs and be made fun of. These dirt bags you hire are a disgrace. For your information we spoke, you stepped out of that truck of yours and we had words, you quickly brushed us off, and I told my GF there'll be no strike 3. We won't be back. I'd rather stand in line at the Woodstock Inn then deal with your uneducated low life trash you hire.Good Day Chris.Like I said never again.

Hours of operation need updating. Both google and their website say open until 10p, doors locked at 9p, not the greatest for out of staters, one of the only places that said it was open and then wasn’t

I see some great reviews so I'm not sure why my experience was so different, but it wasn't good. We were thrilled to see this place was still open until 10PM on a Saturday night, after a long day of outdoor activities. We were hoping to grab snack and wine and settle into our hotel. The place stenched of old oil from fried food, the floors were uneven, the aisles overcrowded with dusty items, tons of beer, ZERO wine. Not one bottle! Riteaid in Lincoln sells wine but not this place? Weird. When I asked the lady if they sold wine after searching she gave me a sort of sneer and an abrupt NO! To be fair in case you're not searching for wine, the pros are they offer bottled water, gas, soda, candy, appear to have a small deli, clearly they fry some type of food, and even offer some fresh produce in the back of store, but ZERO wine, I'm whining about wine. If you're hoping for a "liquor store" as listed in the google search you will only find tons of beer no other spirits. A beer lover paradise I'm sure.
