I ordered jerky after having it a few years in a row on vacation in North Conway and decided to get it on their website. The second order I received was rock hard and the flavor was totally off. Having had such a great experience prior I reached out to see if they could replace/ do anything to rectify the inedible jerky I had gotten. I got an informal type email back and said they would just send a “couple bags” which was less then I ordered but better than nothing. After a couple weeks and no jerky I emailed again and they basically told me they forgot would send it right away and now after another week and no package I’m over it. I’m not going to beg for a replacement on bad goods. Poor customer service and a waste of my money. Won’t go back.

The aroma of olives fills your nostrils when you walk in. Reminds me of walking onto a vineyard. The jerky selection is outstanding and the flavors are great; from traditional flavors to exotic! The texture is a littler “wetter” and chewier than used too, but the flavors are good.Their olive oil and dressing canisters are something I’ve never walked in on. So many choices and flavors to choose from

Amazing experience! Small shop but perfect size for a brief exploration of exotic and regular jerky. The woman working was very sweet and gave everyone in our party a great experience we were talking about hours later. Very recommended!

What an awful experience I just had at the North Conway House of Jerky. The sales person working today (Jun 14, 2023 @ 3:08 pm) wouldn't get off her seat to assist me, spoke to me in a condescending tone, struggled to answer my questions, made me feel like I was bothering her and laughed at me when I asked for the receipt when I bought one of their products. The beef jerky stick was awful and I threw most of it in the garbage after leaving the store. I hope her management team sees this message and takes the proper action.

Me and my family came into the store as it opened and the owner/employee was running behind but he was so friendly and helped us with a smile. The quality of the jerky is top notch and the flavor is outstanding .The only bad thing about this is that I should have bought alot more than i did. I'm now hooked on the chipotle bourbon jerky and the black pepper boar jerky.I will most definitely be back for more amazing jerky

This is the best niche business I have ever stepped foot in. I walked in the door to a very friendly jerky connoisseur who offered me samples of the jerky he had just finished that day, and it was fantastic. The store setup is immaculate, there's a huge selection of flavors of beef jerky, they have unique spice blends in the corner, and then there's the exotic section. Where on earth are you ever gonna find elk, moose, kangaroo, ostrich, CAMEL??? COME ON SON! every time I pass through North Conway, I gotta hit the jerky spot. Best gyat damm jerky I ever had in my life.

This place was very clean, organized and had amazing options! The associate that was there was very helpful and gave me a stick of Jerky on the house!!! I’m here on vacation and the next time I come back I’ll make sure to make a stop here again!!!

Delicious Jerky, workers were very knowledgeable of what products they were selling and helped us pick what ones to try. Also let us try a sample of kangaroo which was amazing 🤤

Literally best jerky I have EVER had! Their black pepper jerky is perfectly flavored, not to mention their variety, it can’t be compared with anything else I’ve bought locally (and I’ve tried almost every brand there is). This blows everyone else out of the water. If you want the best jerky you’ve ever tasted, this is the only choice there is! :)

Rude employee. I am on vacation with some friends and was excited to go to this store all day. After serving me with spicy Cajun jerky and coughing from the spice, the employee expressed her frustration about my light cough. Also watched me while picking out my items making me feel vulnerable and bothered. She apologized for the “hazing” after. I felt extremely unwelcome and ostracized in this store.

If you're hankering for some python or shark or kangaroo, this is the place to go! Friendly staff and free samples of select products. They also carry a selection of spice rubs. We enjoyed our visit here

The gentleman there on 6/6/21 was quite unhelpful when asking about the different jerkies. My husband also got very sick from the snapping Turtle jerky (which I could not bring myself to try). The teriyaki jerky was ok, but had multiple sticker dates over each other which is concerning. Would not come here or purchase these meats again. Not a very good experience from service to taste.

Probably the worst jerky I ever ate. So tough to chew I felt like I was eating leather. Flavor was okay. The guy at the counter was actually pretty nice That's why I give two stars. If you really like jerky I would stay away from this place. Tourist trap.

I was recently up in North Conway on vacation and came across this store. My son is a big fan of jerky and we were overwhelmed with all of the choices. The bags are huge and the price is good for the amount I have paid 5$ for just 1.5 ounces in a country store across from this place. The house of jerky gives you 8 oz for 17$

Ventured in on a trip into North Conway. Couldn't believe the selections of jerky being offered! I tried the black pepper rabbit and the kangaroo jerky both of which were delicious! I visit again when I return to North Conway....so many more selections to try!

My absolutely favorite place for beef jerkry the have a ton if variety and selection to choose from all kinds of weird and exotic flavors to try and even some hot to super hot varieties like Carolina reaper jerkey. A must stop if you plan to make trip to North Conway.

Too many negative reviews on here because many people are used to eating that chewy mass processed junk: Walmart dog treats. The House of Jerky is real (top round) cuts of beef. This stuff is excellent.

The jerky is good lots of different flavors made with different animals, but what really makes me happy is all the different flavors of olive oil. So fresh.

This place is a gem! We visited 5 years back and we visited again in 2020, and we were so happy to try the kangaroo jerky and other varieties. It's a family favorite for us, and I hope it is always there.

I have lived in Conway for three years and never visited until today. Like the owner, a former resident of Charlemont, MA. And, widest array of jerky that I've ever seen boasting some rather unusual selections such as python.

There is a pretty good size of jerky to choose from including some uncommon kinds like kangaroo, aligator, python and more. I wasn't a fan of the kangaroo but the man working at the time was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Poor selection and worse customer service...not sure the guy working on 10/1 was interested in helping anyone or just passing time. I'll stick with Beef Jerky Outlets where service is good and there are better options.

Visited this past Sunday. The gentleman working behind the counter was on his cell phone the entire time we were in the store. He looked up at us and simply continued talking. He never acknowledged us, asked us if we had any questions, or tried to help us. After a awkward minute or two in the store having to listen to his conversation, we simply left.
