AVOID this place at ALL COST!!! they mutilated our dog. She needed to be cut down due to no grooming during the pandemic. She's got over 50 cuts on her, now in a cone from Vet to allow all the open wounds to heal. The cuts on her face in the picture are present all over her body. This place should be shutdown and charged with animal cruelty!

I wish I read the reviews first. I drove home crying the whole way. My baby is only 2 1/2 months and is half pomeranian. He cut her down shorter than needed. She is double coated and she is down to skin. She had cuts on her belly and ear. I'm not sure what he did with her nails but all of them was bleeding. I don't know what needs to be done to get this place shut down but it must be shut down. The place is very old. The equipment was old, just everything. There is no point in calling for a refund or to complain cause he will make excuses and blame it on you. He refused to give me a refund flat out. This place has scarred me for life. Wish I could give a negative 5.

We love the Dogpatch! We have three beautiful Old English Sheepdogs that require specific grooming for their long coats. Kris and Tom are the only people we trust to get the job done right! Our dogs always look amazing and clean when they come home and we couldn't be happier! We know they are in good hands when we drop them off to be groomed. Kris and Tom are very dedicated to the care of all animals. We tell all our family and friends that we recommend the Dogpatch!

I have been bringing my dogs to Dogpatch for more than 20 years. The grooming, service, cleanliness, and inviting appearance are all first rate. My dogs have always come home clean, healthy, smelling fresh, and most importantly, happy. The shop is well-kept and very sanitary, and the animals are treated gently and with respect. I have recommended this groomer to friends and family, and continue to be pleased with the service offered by Dogpatch Grooming.

We have been taking our rescue mutt here for over 3 years and the owners have been wonderful. Our dog has some issues with groomers and vets (he needs a muzzle at the vet). Every visit they are understanding and always make sure he gets good care and comes home clean and nicely groomed.

I have brought my two cats here to be bathed and groomed twice. The place is neat as a pin. Yes, it is a bit on the older side, as one commented, but it smells nice and looks incredibly clean. So who cares if the dryers aren't manufactured last year? Anyway, so the owner greeted me right away and asked what I would like to do. I told him to do whatever was easier on them to remove the knots and he quickly said we'll do whatever is easier and less stressful on the cat. I loved that answer. When I came to pick them up, they took them out each individual and told me what they did. Both my cats sat happy and calm with them. They looked awesome, smelled awesome and did not show any signs of stress. Their price is very fair. It's a lot of work to groom a cat! They explained that they groom cats together. One "loves" the cat and pets them to keep calm while the other brushes or whatever they need to do. I don't have a single complaint about this place. This couple does seem a bit shy at first and so maybe they aren't very chatty to start, but they clearly love what they do and are very good to my cats. I don't need a specific greeting or a lobby that is big, I just need someone to be good to my pets, which I found here!

1.0 star rating10/11/2019I want to warn anyone that has a pet that they love to boycott Dog Patch Grooming in Nashua NH. I took my 3 pound Maltese to them to bath, groom, and to cut her nails. Ginger was their last client that day and I picked her up about 20 minutes after they were finished, there was animal hair all over the floor and table. They didn't even clean up. Ginger was trying to jump out of the groomers hands when I got there to get her. That should have been my first warning. The groomer point to a patch on her neck that was bald and said he thought she had something there to have caused it to shave her bald. I didn't think anything of it because it was Ginger's first time with this groomer. I took Ginger back to the Wedding reception that I was at previously. We hung out for a for a little while when someone from the reception came up to me and said Ginger was bleeding a little. I went over and picked her up and she had about 5 cuts on her skin. I called the groomer and the female groomer who I did not meet, instantly stated "did I not do a good job for you" really disfensive and I all I said was hello this is Ginger's mom. I told her that she was cut in several places and bleeding. She started yelling at me that she didn't cut Ginger. I told her I took pictures and could forward them to her. She gave me her mailing address and said to send her the pictures and she would refund me my money. I asked if I could send them to her phone or email and she said she didn't have a phone or email. I had to go to Staples to get them printed out. I sent her the pictures and a note with it asking for her to send me my refund like she said she would. I got no answer. I called 3 times and they would not answer their phone. I called again and as soon as I said my name the male groomer said you are not getting a refund. Not only are they abusive to their clients and their owners but they lie too. Just please learn from my mistake and take your pets to PetCo or anyone else besides them. Please see the pictures I posted. The only reason they have one star is because the site would not take this review without putting a star. I wish there was a way to do negative stars.Shelly

We've brought every one of my family dogs here over the years and now I bring my own rescue dog to get her nails clipped. They're fast and efficient and very affordable. We've never had any problems.

While I went here on recommendation from my aunt who had been bringing her dogs there for years, even she said the quality and friendliness of the owners has severely declined in recent years. I was not happy with the level of equipment they have there. Kennels looked dirty and about 50 years old. the waiting room is small and not very welcoming. They have you talk to them through a Dutch door (one that splits open on top) and if you leave the dog there for a few hours and are even 20 mins late picking them up (even while they are still "open") you get a rude call telling you that you are late... Wouldn't go back if they did it for free.

Kris and Tom are the greatest! We've been taking our little ones to them since 1999. Our first dog was an American Eskimo. Katie had issues with other groomers, especially when it came to combing out her thick fur. Dogpatch won her over with their gentle approach. When Katie developed dimentia, becoming unpredictably aggressive toward the end of her life, Kris and Tom kept her calm and well cared for throughout her final illness. We now have a wonderful Silky. She vacillates between quietly sweet and loving, and a typically feisty small breed terrier. Kris and Tom are terrific, soothing her on anxious days, and keeping her gently in check on her energetic days. (Her feisty nature easily jeopardizes her fragile bone structure.) They have a rare gift for communicating with our animals on their own level, balancing compassion with gently firm guidance. Great with humans, too: down to earth, honest and up front about costs and procedures depending on how much mischief our Silky's been into between visits. Some folks might find them matter of fact--we find them refreshingly honest. Kris and Tom are the only groomers to whom we'll entrust our "kids"!

Tom & Chris have been taking care of our Dogs, Remy & Cosmo for the pass 19 years, treating them all the time like there own. They have been more than accommodating when making appointments even in the last minute request for touch up with our Dogs especially around the holidays. Our Dogs Love going there and we Love there service. I will highly recommend taking your Dog to Tom & Chris.

Jasper is a 13 year old Yorkie that has been groomed by Kris and Tom since he was a puppy. They have always gone out of their way to accommodate both Jasper and his owners.I think in 13 years and the amount of haircuts a Yorkie gets; I certainly qualify to pass judgement. They do a great job.

Today I brought my dog to this place. The night before I talked to the owner and she sounded very professional. When I was bringing my dog in I instantly felt a bad vibe. An hour later I get a call from the owner and she constantly referred to my dog as "it" and "thing" saying she's so viscous. When I got there I commented how she was being very rude. She responded ITS viscous and we're honest, now get out and slams the door in our faces. This is NOT a place you should bring your pets. I should've read the reviews before i brought her there.

Took my older dog there for the first time in 15 yrs-when I picked her up, her leash was ‘chewed through’..when I asked what happened she said, ‘YOU never told us that she was a chewer!!’ implying it was MY fault!! Very defensive, hostile.. so I was thinking, how long did they leave my dog alone, leashed to ? a grooming table or...she could’ve choked, hung ... it must’ve been a while to chew through a heavy leash.No apologies, very accusatory and defensive, needless to say we will NEVER go back there, it’s not safe.

Please be aware that some people who have never even been to Dogpatch think it's fun to trash a site. Please be fair and see for yourself the quality of service and products that DOGPATCH provides. I am currently sending my third pet (dog) to Kris/Dogpatch. It's been over twenty (20) years and not only am I satisfied with her services but my dogs are also. My dog actually gets excited when I say 'Let's go see Kris!'. If an animal doesn't like someone, it wouldn't look forward to going. I've never had a problem with any of my pets going to Dogpatch. My name is publicly posted and I don't have a problem endorsing Kris and Dogpatch.

I brought my 130 lb Great Pyrenees Finnegan, of course we call him Finn when he is a great boy and Finnegan when he is being somewhat naughty to have his 'Day of Beauty' that was so long overdue. Finn despite being a handsome boy had a coat that was so matted, I tried clipping out the matts here and there but he really needed a good comb out with a slicker and his nails, let me tell you I have issues with my feet too I don't like anyone touching them but at least I have the dexterity to cut my own nails on my hands and feet, Finn unfortunately doesn't have thumbs so that is a talent that he will never have. Those talons and the three inches of hair on his paws had to go. Where the heck was I going to bring him? It had sadly been a little over a year since the last time he saw a Groomer. Did not want to bring the poor guy to where he use to go wanted to try somewhere new.It was a Wednesday and I got my Hippo Newspaper at my local grocery store, went to a drive thru and got a coffee and decided to read the Hippo while I was having my coffee. Oh there was an ad with a before and after pic of a pooch and I thought to myself 'if someone can groom that dog to what the picture next to it looks like then that's were I'm taking Finn.Called and asked about an appointment time and I spoke to Kristen and she informed me that she would like to meet Finn and see just what it was that he needed, He's suppose to have long thick fur, my poor guy had several matts on him that I knew where not coming out easily. So we went down the following day and I am telling you Kristen and Tom couldn't have been any nicer to the big guy and they had so much work to do on him.Kristen took Finn and told me that she could fit him in but he may take some time because he had a whole host of different hair issues. If she couldn't get his matts out would I mind if she shaved him to help the situation out. "He's all yours I'll have my cell phone on. Good luck' and off to lunch I went. A couple of hours later I went back and I didn't even recognize my own dog, he looked like Marmaduke and you could tell how happy he was Kris did a spectacular job on his coat and his paws. He probably lost about twenty pounds, goodness wouldn't most people just love to go for a day of beauty and los that much, but I know his coat is going to come in even better than it use to kept up on. I cannot say enough to express my shear happiness in how they took care of my Fur Baby. He will be going back to go visit 'you wanna go to the place by the trail to go get your hair cut?' will be my newest way to get him into my vehicle because I know he will be looking forward to the net time because his first was such an enjoyable experience.Take your Fur Babies here Kristen and Tom couldn't have been any nicer to either my dog or myself. Thank you both so much!

Nice guy but must have had a bad day because my schnoodles basic cut was all over the place. In my opinion a basic cut should at least be sharp.
