Below, notice the DG store hours vs the scribbled sign. This makes it the 6th time this DG has closed up to 1.5 hours early, sending me back home (32 min round trip) empty handed.If staying open until the posted time is too difficult for this location, perhaps an alternative can be figured out and communicated to customers.My rating also reflects the cleanliness and organization of aisles, last time I was able to make it to this store during operational hours.Posted 7/9 & when I left the parking lot, 2 more families pulled in, only to be disappointed.

This location has amazing staff who are overworked due to understaffing. It's hard for them to stock in the aisles when they are constantly running to the register to cash people out. 1 person can't do both. Find one of your unemployed friends and urge them to go help.

This store has everything thing you need and things you didn't know you need. I have no idea how they managed it all. Clean, priced right, good customer service. I love to stop in just to see what they have this month! Lol

This place is highly disorganized, it's rarely open, and today on an off chance it was open, the woman was super rude and tried to bully me into buying a toy for my son, because the pile of discount toys were on the floor when we walked in, he grabbed a toy and when we left I told him to put it back, she demanded I buy it and argued when I said no. I will absolutely never return to this store, and I will tell everyone I know about this rude woman

Closed today 8/26Closed on many occasions for no apparent reason with notes scribbled on entry doors.Many disappointed customers in Moultonborough.It’s a drive to get there & very inconvenient when arriving to a closed note.

In all honesty, this location has had some issues… but, they are recently under a new manager and have reopened today after lengthy issues with their heating system. I haven’t gone back in yet, but I have hope that things will be better now :)

We stopped by for some chips and noticed they had a deal where you buy 2 get one free. The family picked out three different flavors of the largest size they had. At the register we didn't get one free. The cashier found the ad in the flyer and helped us figure out where we went wrong. Back to the chip aisle we got the one flavor that was large enough and got our smaller (by 0.25 ounces) family size bag for free.I will not reduce the stars I give to a chain store for bad promotions, but will award stars based upon how the clerk's handle the promotions. This store was very polite and respectful.This store has been open only a few weeks. Very clean inside. I'll make it my mid point supply store when returning from the mountains. The prices also appeared to be better then the gas station or corner convenience stores.

The cleanliness of of this store is okay but the shelves are a hot mess. There's pillows next to toilet paper. What's up with that. But I have faith this store can find its way back. Eventually. However they did not have one item I was looking for.

This is the most unorganized DG I've ever been too ..you can't get down the aisles, carts and boxes Block the way ..I live in moultonborough and although its convenient I'd rather drive a half hr away to get the items needed ..

The prices are generally good. Lots of dollar items & the cashier named Cindy is wonderful! She's very sweet, informative, & helps people with what ever additional help needed including aid to vehicle!

Love this store but I had to take out one star because unfortunately there is an extremely rude employee that works here. Normally I'm not the 'im karen and let me speak to your manager type' but after last night I cant stay silent anymore. He is a tall male with light hair. He works night mostly I believe and was working the night of 4/6/2021. I've gone in twice close to closing time and both times this boy was so rude to me I almost left in tears. He makes it seem like I'm a huge burden to him by being there. He kept hounding me about the closing time even though I was well aware. He told me that if I dont cash out 15mins before they close that his register locks and he wont be able to cash me out. And I even overheard him say to his coworker that he 'hates late night shoppers' and that 'we should have something better to do at 8 at night' .....I've even tried killing him with kindness and saying things like, ' thank you. have a great night" and he just glared at me. Silently. I could go on and on but you get the point. Complaining about someone is really out of my comfort zone but I dont know how this guy has a job. I dont know how he can treat people SO poorly and still be employeed!?

I drove more that an hour to visit this store. I found a few items I wanted at sale prices. The cashier (Jenni I believe) was extremely rude and refused to sell me the items. She was also disrespectful to my son when he asked to use the restroom. Never again will I visit that store.

There is trash all over their lawn and parking lot. When I told the lady very nicely about it she got snotty and said it was up to customers to not litter, and that employees had no time to clean up trash.

I LOVE THIS STORE!! What really pushes it to 5 stars is the staff!! They are so nice and very helpful. This store has EVERYTHING!!! I can’t get out in less than an hour!!

Anytime you try and put through a digital or receipt based coupon, there are ISSUES after ISSUES!....its not just this DG, its everyone. I really think it's a Nationwide DG SCAM. Most people won't stop and make sure they get the correct coupon deducted. If that happens every day X thousands of stores....someone is living high of the HOG. Still, its DG and prices are overall decent. Usually understaffed, however the staff which is present, helps out greatly.

Generally brings the tone of Moultonborough down a notch or two, but if you can get past that it is an incredibly useful addition to the locality for getting those forgotten essentials out of regular shopping hours. Will still default to Murphy's but I'm sure there'll be times when it's existence will save me an over long drive due to my own stupidity😉

It reminds me of Family Dollar. I believe they are own by the same company not 100% sure.Kind of dumpy.The one I went to sold beer and wine.Staff super friendly.

You where open till 10:00 pm. Now I get it for the winter. Purpose but it is now summer. I feel as many others do in. This town you should change your hours back to 10:00 just for summer. Thank you 😀

Store has what you would need in an emergency and then your extras. They offer a huge holiday section and great party supplies for less money.
