This is a great place for locally raised meats.It seems they take care of their animals, and that the animals get to live a good life. Most days you can probably get someone to take you to see some of the animals and say hello.A good selection of different meats and cuts, and they typically also have items from other small farms including eggs, tallow, yogurt, and more.

I’ve been here twice to stay in the air bnb, planning a third trip back! Animals are taken amazing care of. The owners (Carole and Bruce) are so kind and compassionate. AMAZING meat and other products for sale. You can really feel good about your purchase because you know the animals are well taken care of. Not like what you buy at the grocery store where you know the treatment of the animal is bad. The farm at night is gorgeous. There’s very little to no light pollution. You can see every single star. Walking around the farm is so fun. Carole & Bruce will give you carrots to feed the animals. OH! There’s a hot tub in the air bnb too! Plus a wood burning stove. Just imagine a crisp fall day, you’re walking around, go inside and take some time in the hot tub and then sit by the fire. It’s such a nice place to relax. I really can’t give enough compliments to this lovely farm, just absolutely incredible. Do yourself a favor and go experience this farm. This time when I go I’m definitely doing the horseback riding!

Miles Smith Farm is one of my favorite places! The owners and staff are wonderful, greet us by name, remember our favorite products ...They really love and care for their animals, and as a sensitive soul (who still loves steak and cheeseburgers), it really does me good to see that.Also, the community of animals who live on the farm permanently have become one of the best parts of my week when we visit! Dixie and Pixie the goats, and Eleanor the donkey love to have visitors and be pet - the pigs are always happy to see you, and now the ducks follow you around. I feel like a Disney Princess, but without the singing.If you are in the area, it is absolutely worth a visit!

I visited the farm on February 13th for their open house to raise money for their learning center. As I began the long drive up the hill to the farmhouse I saw the beauty of nature all around me. The view from the top is breathtaking and the presence of so many majestic animals took my breath away. We were greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable young girl who explained everything to use and off we went for the self guided tour. At every station was information about the animals and food to give them. The mini and large pigs, goats, donkey, ducks, horses and wandering sheep were all a treasure to behold. To be able to pet the baby and full grown cattle was icing on the cake! I am looking forward to bring my grandsons this summer!

Stayed for the weekend to unwind. Great hospitality and warm welcome from everybody on the farm. Carol and her team are amazing. Best meat I have ever had. Highly recommended if you want to get away or just enjoy good local farm fresh food.

Our stay exceeded my expectations! Carole was so good interacting with our children and teaching them about the farm and the apartment onsite was just charming! We had planned to hike in the white mountains but all that went away when the kids didn't want to stray far from the farm. Their favorite was walking the goats and feeding the highlanders. We enjoyed our bacon and steak dinner from the farm store and all things that came with the beautiful views. Highly recommend!

Visited this nice little farm with a two year old who loved seeing all the animals. The owners make you feel like family. The animals are friendly and come over to check you out. There is a store as well. Great place to bring kids.

Thanks to all the folks at Miles Smith Farm for providing such a great experience. We toured your farm on Feb.13th. Everything was so organized and well managed to comply with COVID guidelines yet you still got a very personal farm experience. We were able to interact with your wonderful animals and have all of our questions answered by knowledgeable staff. We look forward to more visits and participating in classes at the Learning Center.

Wonderful views from farm, awesome Highland cattle from young to yearlings to older.....so friendly and fun to look at.The store has good selection of meats, cheese and milk from other farm, and specialty items from two sisters garlic, etc.Carol Soule was great to get to know!!

We love Miles Smith Farm. A great product and the staff is so friendly. They have gone out of their way on occasion to provide recipes with your purchase and small, thoughtful things like hand written thank you cards in the mail.Highly recommend!

This is a sad story. I have read it three times in the last week (three different publications) and each time it brings tears to my eyes. I cannot imagine the suddenness of the loss and how Carol must have felt when she discovered Stash in the pasture, especially at this time of year.

Good selection of grass fed meats. You can even pay a nominal fee to hug a cow or rabbit for 15 minutes, ( if that sounds fun to you). Seriously.

very high priced.. and in responce to your responce yes im aware of the costs involved in farming and try to suppport local farmers when possible . my opinion was that you are higher priced than other farms i support .
