The atmosphere was amazing and very moon themed! The service was great! I accidentally spilled boiling hot tea on my hand and I was kindly given ice. The breakfast sandwich bread was the best bread I have ever had, perfectly buttered, perfectly toasted, and a perfect flavor! Nice lighting, cool pictures, nice photoshoot area. The guacamole in the sandwich I got was super good! I would come again if I lived nearby!

We started the new year of 2024 with a visit to Lincoln, with most places closed early January , we're excited to have found this great spotWe were craving some real coffee and just some simple breakfast, Moon Cafe made our dayHad a freah cinnamon roll, still warm that was absolutely amazingAnother picture you'll see is the "crescent moon wrap", as you can see packed with all the goodsLastly you'll see the sausage egg and cheese which really hit the spot.. pair to be a flat homemade sausage.. delicious!!Best of all they had some gluten-free options

The New Jerseyan approves! BEC was nice! What I really enjoyed about my breakfast sandwich was that the portions are stellar. Not too big or small. I hate when eggs dominate everything but here they have it right!I don’t really do breakfast but I will say this is the spot!!

Great place and the almond croissant was amazing! Staff were friendly and helpful.Stated, be aware the line was atrocious. Be prepared to wait a long time. There were 15 people ahead of me, and the line snaked back behind me, toward the door. The food was almost gone when I got to the counter. But it was well worth the wait.Oh definitely get there early. It was closer to 1130am and almost all the pastries were gone.

We stopped here while traveling based on recommendations from google for “best local coffee shops” and the first time we walked in we actually walked out because nobody acknowledged us. We decided to give them a second chance and came back. I was very impressed with their sandwiches- the homemade bread on the sandwiches was delightful and I've never had anything like it. I also tried a cinnamon roll since they're advertised as the best around and they did not disappoint- again, the homemade dough really makes all the difference and added a unique touch. I was a little disappointed with the coffee because there was limited selection and they didn’t really have any “unique” flavors. I got the almond flavored iced latte with oat milk and didn’t finish it, as I didn’t find it very appetizing- maybe an off day or an off drink but it was lacking in flavor and tasted very watery to me. My husband and daughter both tried their cookies and thought they were great. I would definitely come back for some sandwiches!

New owners (very friendly) since a year from what we gathered and our first time here. They either kept the quality super high or brought it up another level. All the food was excellent, we came three times in two days (do we need to say more). In the mornings we had breakfast sandwiches, smoothie, and their pastries. They home bake everything and it’s top notch. My friend had americano’s and equal quality both days, my almond milk latte’s were excellent. The owner made mine on the 1st day and I love foam in my latte and he made it perfect. Second day was still very great, truly, but 1st day was perfection.Overall all staff had a smile, wanted to be there and sandwiches for lunch were also on home made bread and toasted on the grill to give that nice buttery edge to it (see pics). Grilled cheese affordably priced and on point. We will be back every time we come. Consider this place for (late) lunch and breakfast, they have it all.

My husband and I discovered this awesome spot in 2023 during a vacation, and we returned this week during another winter escape. This is a must stop for us early in the morning before heading off to Cannon or Waterville Valley there’s a wide selection of homemade pastries — sweet and savory croissants, scones, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and cookies. Also lots of breakfast options — my favorite is egg and guacamole sandwich (you can get it with cheese, I opt to leave off) on homemade French bread. There’s also takeaway soups, salads, and more for lunch. Excellent lattes, too. So glad we found this and will be heading back next February!

The Breakfast Wraps are delicious but this isn't a family friendly environment. I recommend don't take toddlers here .... it's more of a college student hangout. Staff didn't seem friendly but it was busy during the morning. Juice boxes are ridiculously expensive $2.50 ...... Location is perfect with plenty of parking.Parking: Plenty of parking. Location is nice.Kid-friendliness: Not Kid Friendly.... people will look at you if your kids are acting up. This place is for younger cool people without kids.

We landed here by chance but we decided to give it a try. I liked the lay out of the place, the space man cut out and the couches. Their menu isn’t very large but their bread and bakery items are baked in house which is great. I ordered the blueberry turkey sandwich, it had sliced turkey, apples, lettuce and blueberry jam, turkey BLT, spicy BLT a grilled cheese and 3 smoothies and a plain croissant. Smoothies were a bit pricey for the size but everything is fresh, the croissant was really good. Although their menus is small, all food items were good, the only downside was that I would have expected to taste the pineapple on my smoothie but I didn’t.

This place is a hidden gem! Walked in and right away you smelled the brewing coffee and FRESH pastries! So many options are waiting on the other side of the glass! The first thing that caught my eye was the pistachio cream horn! Bright, beautiful, green, mouth watering filling! (Thats what she said.) Think of the lobster tail pastry, with pistachio filling. But everything is homemade. Next, we moved on to the apple and cinnamon croissant. Imagine if you could taste "Christmas." That's what this thing tasted like! Fireworks were going off in my mouth! Absolutely incredible! We finished up with the ham and cheese croissant. I can't say enough good things about this place! Family owned and what a beautiful family to boot! 10/10 recommend 👌

A relaxing spot with sandwiches, hot and cold coffee, sweet treats, and other baked goods. Great for breakfast (sandwiches), lunch, or snack. Tucked away in the renovated old mill, with history in the hall and other interesting regional businesses nearby. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a stop to treat yourself. Service was friendly and efficient. We strongly recommend the brownie and macaroon.

Cute spot. They offered sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. Along with drinks and pastries. Smoothies were expensive at $8.50 each. $11.50 for Thai chicken salad. Plenty of space to sit down. Plenty of parking. The lady at front counter older woman with blond hair lacks customer service. But besides that it was cute and quaint and I would go back.

This may actually be 4.5 stars, but the entire experience makes it 5. The only thing I would change: I wish they had offered to heat up the ham and cheese croissants before serving. Other than that, the croissants were delicious, flaky, buttery and filled with generous amounts of ham and cheese. The latte and cappuccino were just what you want.

We went to Moon Cafe because Flapjacks was packed. They had good coffee and kind staff, but a very underwhelming, overpriced wrap. I got the vegetarian wrap that ended up being mostly spinach and had little else. The whole wrap was bland and the egg texture was perplexing. My husband got a different one with sausage that he really enjoyed and seemed like a more even mix of inclusions. Maybe my wrap was a fluke? An expensive one for sure. They do have free Wi-Fi and plenty of (almost too much) space, so could be a good place to check emails and whatnot. Not very intimate or cozy, though, and the moon theme is more comical, sciencey, and goofy than whimsical or cute. Probably wouldn’t go back.

My friend and I stopped in here before driving back to NJ, and we are so thrilled we did! The staff was so friendly and very helpful with assisting in what to order. I got a dirty chai, and a bacon egg and cheese on HOMEMADE french bread! It was perfection. I brought my fiancé home 2 chocolate chip cookies and he loved them. My friend got a chocolate criossant and said it was soft, buttery, and delicious. Their breads and pastries are made in house and you can really taste the difference when food is made with quality ingredients and love. Thank you so much. Will definitely be back in the future!

Clean place. Prices a bit high for what you get! Ordered a turkey bacon sandwich that came with no bacon… couldn’t drive back, so sandwich had not flavor…

Hands down best sandwiches I’ve ever tasted. Homemade chipotle mayo and French bread with the freshest ingredients make for the most mouthwatering out of this world experience! Highly recommended while in the area!

I have visited this cafe a few times since it has opened. To start, they fail to consistently have decaf espresso and never have regular decaf coffee. The staff is not very friendly or knowledgeable about their products and give attitude when questions are asked. They do not have whipped cream either and the cream is self serve in unclean canisters. They also did not have cardboard cup sleeves. Food and drinks are only ok and definitely not worth the steep price. One drink was over filled and spilled all over when trying to take a sip. The mediocre food and lack of respect from the staff combined is enough of a reason to give other local restaurants my business instead.*In regards to the owner’s response: The barista said there was no decaf espresso and they would not be able to make any decaf drink at all. The customer in front of me asked for more coffee sleeves and was told curtly that there weren’t any. Unfortunately the lack of cleanliness of the counter and milk dispensers was obvious.

Made a stop in here back in July on our way to Maine from Vermont. Their Turkey Bacon sandwich was pretty much perfect for me. It's basically the sandwich I will put together from menus at other sandwich places. It had turkey, bacon, pickles, tomato, lettuce, cheddar, and chipotle mayo. I may be a simple person, but it was SO GOOD! The baked goods and hot drinks were good as well. Tried to go back in October, but the whole town was slammed with holiday traffic, so we skipped it.
