They have consistently always had great food over the years. I have been coming since I was a kid and I have brought my kids. Their lobster rolls and milkshakes are always spot on. It is a must stop for me and my daughter when we are around Lake Winnipesaukee! We usually get it to go and park down by the lake for the views. If you're a fan of great lobster rolls, the Tamarack is a must.

Today was my first visit to the Tamarack! We were next door bowling, and hungry. We ordered a half pint of clam strips, and an order of french fries. The tartar sauce was great, the clam strips super yummy and the fries were good! The staff was so friendly, and we enjoyed our food at the picnic tables.We will definitely be back! My kiddo and I love seafood.

Waited at least 30 mintues with one other person there. Young lady's taking orders was very sweet. Food portions were small, for the price, not worth it. Indoor seating area in the back was filthy, old food laying around on tables, trash cans full, not emptied bathrooms stunk. It looks like it was not cleaned in months. VERY disappointed to say the least. Will not go back.

Exceeded my expectations. Got a sampler basket and everything in it was great. The batter was thin so you got the full flavor of the seafood. Perfect for sharing

Delicious ice cream! Next time we'll eat lunch here, so many seafood options!We made a second visit for lunch, it was so good! I got the scallop roll and loved it. Can't beat the friendly service or their funny signs!

They were about to close and made us great lobster rolls! The lobster was piled up high and was delicious. The owners are the sweetest and really went out of their way for us. We will be customers for life. The best!!

August 2021 Update: Disappointed in my first visit back to Tamarack this year. I ordered a Lobster Roll Basket...they took the order and incorrectly so I didn't get any fries, but wasn't charged for them either. I went up to the window to let them know, and was told I'd have to pay the dollar difference to make it a basket - OK. So I got the dollar, but then I was told I would have to get back in line! After already waiting 20 minutes for my order, they expected me too get back in a line, and wait probably another 30 minutes to get what I originally ordered. Terrible customer service. To add insult to injury, the lobster roll looks significantly smaller than in the past too, and my sister had a little bit of shell in hers. I saved up to go three times this week, but I think I'll save my money. A lifetime customer lost.2020: My FAVORITE place to eat when I'm at the lake. My family and I went THREE times during our week there! I can't get enough of their lobster roll - it's delicious!!!

Stopped by for my first lobster roll of the '22 season. The roll itself was perfectly buttered and toasted while the amount of lobster to roll portion was great for the price. Would love to stop again to try more options!

An excellent hometown restaurant. The seafood is decent, considering it’s not on the coast. I like the fried whole belly clams. The lobster roll is excellent, loaded with lobster and served in a hot dog bun, as it should be!

Lakes region classic that's I've been coming to my entire life. Still the best lobster roll away from the coast, and quite possibly in all of NH!! Great selection of typical clam shack fare, reasonable prices, to and friendly staff. They have picnic tables and an indoor seating area out back. Also, it's right down the road from FunSpot!!

Dion traveled from Atlanta. visited this spot twice. there was little lady that advised me about the lobster rolls and i had the haddock fish sandwich which was so good i came for another one yesterday before I left. Definitely a favorite spot. will travel up again just to enjoy the lakes and there food. The best customer service ive received.

The lobster rolls aren't bad, but I wouldn't call them the best in NH or even in the nearby area. Still worth a visit if you want good and reasonably priced food

A dingy shack or a priceless treasure? Tamarack has the best lobster rolls I have eaten outside of Maine. The staff was also extremely friendly and the signs posted are very funny. Definitely a priceless treasure worth visiting.

Tamarack, some swear by it for their world famous lobster rolls. Overall not the best, it was a little dry and didn't have butter or mayo on it. I've been here before, but the quality has seemed to drop since my last visit. Hopefully Tamarack can return to its former glory.Parking: Small lot, though people are in and out pretty fast.Wheelchair accessibility: No real issues with wheelchairs, though outdoor seating can be hard to acess as there aren't any paved sidewalks to it, and you have to step over a curb.

Tamarack's is a fun little seafood restaurant with many food choices. I would recommend the Tamarack basket which includes a variety of foods including fried shrimp and chicken tenders. For seafood, the price for anything is very acceptable and it has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
