I love this location overall! The staff is usually very helpful and friendly, there are never long lines for checkout when I go, it’s just a good experience overall.Tonight I went about an hour before closing for something urgent. I was waiting to pay in the Garden section behind a couple that was taking a while. The associate, a stocky young man with dark hair, looked at me several times but didn’t say anything at all. After 4 minutes of patiently waiting, he tells me I need to go across the entire store to checkout because he’s closing up. His tone was pretty rude considering what he was telling me and how he had let me wait there first. Maybe he’s new. Maybe he had a bad day. But I was pretty surprised to encounter that when the other associates have been so friendly.

Like most Home Depots, they struggle with having staff available in their departments. I used to work at one, I know this is a company/store problem, not an employment problem. But where they really lose points is that I'm a disabled veteran, and every time I ask for a veteran discount, they say I have to sign up, get the app, etc. Even though I have a GOVERNMENT supplied ID.I'm absolutely mind-boggled at the concept that Home Depot thinks their app outranks a government ID.And I know your cashiers can just punch it in. It's dead simple. Apply discount, 10%, customer satisfaction (because veterans don't warrant having their own code for some reason). Done.On the note of that cashier, might want to talk to her. She'll be friendly, smiling, normal customer service.... until I mention "veteran discount, please" and show her my card. Then the smile disappears, she complains that I need to sign up online, that I need to go through the website, etc....and after a minute or so of this, she'll sigh loudly, then tap the screen the few times it takes to apply the discount.Today, she started talking about needing to scan the QR code, wanting me to open the app. I shouldn't need to use the app and provide access to my phone for your employees to be able to do their job. Read that again, and let it sink in. Wasting my time and the customers' waiting behind me, when it'd take just seconds to input it herself.Every other cashier, it's just "Thank you for your service" Beep beep beep and done.I'm not saying everyone has to support veterans, or even like us, but she could at least try not to show her distaste so much while in the role of CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Manager Patrick and this evenings staff came up with a quick and effective solution for a potentially hazardous situation I found myself in. It's too bad that staff members who are dedicated to great customer service do not get these star ratings individually, if they did, the entire team of cashiers, customer service associates, and managementwould be lit up. They really went above and beyond to help, which makes me feel good considering the amount of money I have a habit of spending here. Kudos to all. 👏

Jen & Debbie are just about the sweetest women I have ever met. I went through self checkout and had not had the forethought to grab a basket when I first arrived in the store. They could see I was struggling with all of my items and both came over to help me. They even held my items behind their counter because I went back to get something. You could tell they both took extreme pride in their work. The experience left me feeling uplifted and genuinely happy. They were so nice to talk to and so helpful. Good job Home Depot hiring such amazing employees!

First yes I'm female & yes I love home depot! It's honestly in my top 2 stores to shop. My husband tries to sneak there w/out me. The staff are so friendly & helpful. Very knowledgeable employees & if they aren't 100% sure they walk you to the employee that is. That service is pretty much forgotten in 2022. The prices are still low. I highly recommend Home Depot, especially if your going to need assistance. On Mar 03, 23 I was back at Home Depot. James was working in the paint department. James was amazing. I was at the store for hours. He had suggestions and actually went and found me in another department. This resulted in me purchasing more paint.

Patrick saved me, I have a 5 month old and a 6 year old. at 6:30 my generator died, I called Keene and they said they had 4 of the size I needed. When I arrived at 7:15 they didn’t have it. He called Manchester and I was able to send my mother in law to grab it but due to the circumstances she wouldn’t make it before 8pm when they closed, they stayed late because Patrick called and make it known I needed it for my kids. He is an absolutely amazing manager, made it right and had my back and I am so incredibly grateful. He proved tonight that even though I have been given multiple obstacles in the last month that there are still good people out there. He deserves a raise. THANK YOU PATRICK

Worst experience! The manager is not nice and the service is disappointing. First toilet I ordered they broke, the replacement had a stain! The manager actually tried to blame the stain on me. Are you kidding me? I've been a long time customer and I feel after this experience I view home Depot very differently. Nobody even offered to help bring it back out.

Ordered a woodstove online through home depot, they don't deliver but fine, get there and they point out some scratches on the metal, no big deal we check the glass through 1 of the holes and it seemed ok......get it home remove the rest of the packaging and the other half of the glass was shattered. Home depot won't replace the glass best they can do is order a new 1 if we bring the other 1 back.......they used a forklift to get it in the truck we don't have a forklift at home to put it back at 350lbs. What's the warranty for if they can't guarantee the glass wont break if they aren't willing to replace it. Also home depot had it rated for 2500sq ft on their website the manufacturer has it rated for 2200 so the product description wasn't right either!

Phone service is terrible there do not waste your time calling them. Customer service is terrible and a complete waste of time. Customer service will tell you the product's not in stock. And then when you drive over there, it's sitting right on the shelf. There's like five of them. I'm not sure if they're paid well enough there. So they just don't feel they need to do anything. But it's terrible you're better off calling Lowe's.

It's a typical Home Depot, organized like Home Depot. Lots to look at for your home, help If you need it. Cell signal is weak and no wifi so plan ahead if you need ideas.

Don't try to shop for lumber or anything large at the Keene home depot since COVID has now seemed to make everyone order for curb side... all 100+ large carts sit inside full of pick-up orders so anyone who wants to shop in-store has no carts. Has this virus made everyone lazy?? Hello you still have the same germs on the items even if it is delivered to your car! Look at the lineup of carts in the store.CRAZY!

I own a business and this place is a constant aggravation. When I just need to grab something quick to finish a job, I can count on wasting an hour dealing with mysterious aisle closures and deliberately incompetant cashiers. Every time I return extra unused material I have to watch like a hawk to make sure they don't short me and cost me hundreds through the year. But they are there and they have stuff; that's the only good thing about it.

The customer service at this store is shockingly amazing for a large chain store. We usually end up here 3 or 4 times per week. The store manager is always on the floor engaging customers and thanking us for the business. Almost every employee we pass asks us if we need help, engages us, or even greets us by name. We have given up on most local hardware stores as our 6 year old has more general knowledge than they do, not with Home Depot! The workers are very knowledgeable in their areas and/or can point us in the right direction.

I visited Home Depot to pick up an online order that was supposed to be ready, but I ended up waiting for over an hour due to their shortage of staff. Spending over $500 and waiting that long was incredibly frustrating. Their customer service was disappointing, and I won't be ordering from this location again if this is how they handle things. Time is valuable, and waiting for an hour for a confirmed pickup order is unacceptable.

I would give zero stars if possible. Paid $70 for a delivery fee for some lumber, lattice, and a pail of patching concrete. Driver showed up and told my wife he didn't have the concrete must be coming seperate. He took his pictures of delivery and left.Next I get an email saying delivery complete. I call the main home depot number they tell me can't help you on our end says delivery complete contact your financial instituion. I'm mad so she gives me the Keene store number where the delivery came from. Guy I talked to said sorry i will put it on a truck tomorrow.Nope nothing, so I write the store manager an email. He says I will get my delivery manager on it. Nope nothing.Great business acumen you have now lost a customer who does has done and would in the future be doing several thousands in purchases over screwing me out of a $20 bucket of concrete. Why have drivers take pictures if you won't ref. them.I don't know if the driver, a dock worker or some other house got it but I didn't. FYI I get hundreds of packages every year and only ever had one go missing (20 years ago) so porch pirate not likely. I have in my mind lost an hour or more of my time, at least part of the delivery fee, and the original $20 bucks on the product. The amount isn't the point dishonesty and a lack of customer service is. I may be spendiing what amounts to nothing to a large company like home depot. But if your smart and want honest try someone else I know I will.

I went in looking for a specific AC because the online application said they had it in stock. Went to the appliance isle, and it was nowhere to be found. An associate at the appliance counter said all AC's were moved to the front by the indoor plants. Found my item, I had to go back out and get a cart that would hold the AC (that was my bad for not being prepared). Self check out line no waiting big plus. I scanned the wrong bar code, and an associate came to my rescue within seconds. I was in and out in less than twenty minutes, even with the time looking for my item. All associates were a big plus to my success of getting in and out!

Inventory was decent and mostly friendly staff except one older woman that works the Garden center. It has been 3 times that this associate will come over to your cart(s) while self checkout rummaging your items. She comes off more than a little aggressive and/or wanting control of some sort. Honestly, if you're in the self checkout and I'm doing your work then don't tell me how to do your job.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Workers here are usually smiling and actively ask if you have questions! Customer service experience is unlike any other home depot location I've visited in other states. Highly recommended!

This place is a joke call 2 weeks ago to ask about disabled veteran help with there rep for veteran's got blown right off not 1 call and I had called 3 times and got no one this is how you treat disabled veteran wow I think I will post this all over the DAV American Legion And VFW. I think all veterans should know how you treat us. You know, you're all over the website. How you can help with fixing projects and getting people. But yet you can't follow through on it, so it's just all smoking mirrors. Just called again today to talk to the manager on duty. She's sitting there texting on her cell phone instead of talking to me and paying attention to what I have to say and again. They send me to the person that's not there. Give me a story about how many years she's been there. They've been there which who cares. And they get all this vacation time. But yet can't make a simple phone call back to a veteran. Whoever the female. Manager on charge today. Couldn't take a little ash chilling. Because it's screwing up. Telling me all this good stuff they do for veterans. But yet didn't tell me what it was place on her cell phone instead of talking to me over the phone and then gets rude. That's just mind blowing this is the way they treat disabled veterans Better off finding another Because these guys are totally incompetent

With the removal of Pro Parking the main entryway has become a danger zone with stacks of lumber and forklifts in operation.

Two people waiting in line over 10 minutes for checkout. 4-5 in line. Cashier closes the second register. Not service that would have been at all acceptable when I worked at Lowes. In fact, more than 3 in line required calling all available employees to the registers to assist. Asked the girl to call someone else to the register, she refused. Terrible.

Had some windows installed through their program recently. They seem fine. The problem is that the contractors left old screws and lead paint chips all over my bedroom, kitchen, and porch all the way to the curb. Thought I got it all until it rained. Now a bunch more floated out from under the bushes (also found some Styrofoam behind the bushes). Can't wait to live with the constant anxiety that my dog will find something I missed every time we go outside.

Bought a dishwasher, it came defective. Warranty came through but I problems returning it. Spent two months doing dishes by hand and still no new dishwasher. Don’t buy appliances from here, problems are more than likely.P.s. Tori from management will NOT return your calls.Worst experience spending $500 EVER!!!

Poorly laid out, loud, hard to figure out where things were, hard to find people who worked there to ask questions in the lumber section. Probably won't be going back, especially on the weekend.

I love Home Depot. I have been going there for years. It's hit or miss with the staff there. I would say 70% of the employees there are useless. They either have people issues or just don't want to be there. They really make me wonder why I go there at all. They really need to hire more people who actually want to work and like what they do. One employee I see all the time.. I say hello and smile every time I see him. He just stares at me with a blank look. I'll break him......um maybe not.

Called inquiring about if they had wood pellets in stock and dealt with someone in customer service who definitely shouldn't have been in customer service because they had horrible customer service skills and was rude? I asked if they had 4 bags of wood pellets and was told there was some there on a pallet. I asked if there was 4 and was told I don't know? Asked if I could pay for them now and have them put aside as I had a half hour drive to get there, needed them and it was -7° at my house and her response was there's some here and hung up on me!? When I arrived there was over 40 bags of wood pellets there and not just a pallet but 2 pallets that was easily seen from customer service. Not a good experience whatsoever and unless I absolutely have to I'll travel elsewhere before going back to The Home Depot in Keene, NH.
