Excellent customer service employees were eager to help. Coming from someone with numerous severe food allergies this health food store is incredible with a large selection of products. One associate even looked at the ingredients for me, not that i couldn't but he was very engaged. When one associate wasn't able to locate a product for me he asked another associate who was eager to assist. Very family friendly with arts and crafts available near seating area. Very community engaged with town board of activities and information. The public restrooms were also the cleanest modern facilities I have ever seen. I just with they had more locations. This kind of health food store should have thousands of locations nationwide.

Don't feel welcome to even shop here. Wanted to go back there to work but didn't work. Felt terrible when I left but I had a cook act hostile towards me a lot and I couldn't handle it. They let Pete comeback but not me so I'll just continue not shopping there or anything. Tried being positive but I'll just keep my distance

We recently purchased several prepared platters for a memorial service. Everything was perfect - excellent communication from the very beginning, the platters were ready on time, and the food was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended.

The best produce and meat/seafood selections in town. We highly recommend!

Grabbed a hot Golden Latte & a yummy pasta salad in the cafe as well a couple skincare items. Wonderful ambience! There’s a spacious, light filled cafe seating area, a bakery & plenty of parking. Thank you!

It's a good shopping experience, with a pretty great selection.Their prepared foods are the weak link.If I could make one change only, it would be to replace whatever terrible salad oil is used in their salads with the Ariston Greek olive oil they sell in the bulk isle.I've literally had to add various flavors to things I've bought here to make them edible (by me). Also, beans do not belong in tabbouleh.

Decent selection of quality food, but don't expect to get through in a timely manner. There's absolutely no front-end management. During a lunch rush or other peak business period, every open register will have one huge order with a line of people each with one or two items behind it. Not an open express lane in sight. The other night, I was in a very long line at the single available register. It was a little late in the evening, so I was resigned to it until I realized their second cashier was just in line herself buying ice cream. She eventually opened back up, but she was 4th or 5th in line, so it was kind of pointless.TLDR: There are enough local farms that sell directly that it's hard to recommend shopping here unless you're friends with the cashiers and want to chat.

Shop here sometimes . Not all the food has natural ingredients . Fruit and veggies look the the same thing that's in grocery stores . Not fresh. Some so called organic items have chemicals and soy. Still have to look at labels .

The overall selection is obviously smaller than a large grocery chain, but the selection they do have is very diverse, with many local options not offered by bigger stores.

Monadnock Food Co-op used to be a great place to shop with the best customer service/workers, but things began to change for the worse around 5 years ago. New management? They seem to be cultivating a weird work environment that gives off a creepy vibe to customers. In the new bakery/prepared foods department the manager was not helpful at all when asked about their products/services to the point of being rude. He seemed not interested in the service industry that he was hired into. To give perhaps some helpful advice: There are still some quality workers there, but they are not management. Monadnock should hire true health food professionals who care about nutrition and good business practices to manage their store. In addition, the muffins/cookies/etc. in the bakery are inedible. We avoid this store now at all costs.

A mixture of "health-food" store and "support local farmers" store. Slightly on the pricey side, but that's to be expected when you're sourcing from small, local farms.Decent selection; sometimes a little on the short side in terms of variety of vegetables; again, they are going to skew local, so don't come here for your exotic stuff, but they have everything you're going to need for a normal American meal. Great way to support the farmers in your community.

Bought some cod yesterday evening and go to open it today for my holiday gathering and the fish is rotten. It smells so very bad. I am disappointed because now my meal is ruined and also because this is the second time I’ve bought bad fish from here. I hate that I’ve wasted my hard earned money.

One of the best coops in the area. Nice selection of foods, and a nice cafe area. Had to wait there in the eating area for hours once, and we could use the wifi.

My absolute favorite place to go grocery shopping!Obviously, since it's a co op, they have an amazing verity of farm to table foods/beverages. The staff is very friendly, they treat everyone like family. I have never had a bad experience with anyone there.Their hot food is pretty good. I prefer their sandwiches over their hot dinners.A lot of stuff is locally distributed. But my all time favorite, is their juice bar 🍹/ Cafe!

Great selection and a big cafe/deli with vegan and gluten free options. Salad bar and hot bar are limited but enough. Seems that the hot bar items are on rotation and advertised on the website. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Compost, and recycle in addition to trash. Big parking lot. Would love to see an electric car charger since they have solar!

Such a great shopping experience every time we go. The friendliest employees you will ever see, delic food at the deli, nice produce section, efficient check-out. I can't think of a criticism. Yes, it is small, but they use every single square inch of space to their advantage. :)

I love this place. Great selection of local/regional products, as well as a lot of stuff that is otherwise difficult to find in the area. The staff are super nice too. The parking lot is chaos at busy times, but what parking lot in Keene isn't?

In an effort of full disclosure I am not only a member, I use to work at the co-op in the grocery department for 18 months before the expansion. I recently returned to shopping at the new and expanded co-op over the last few weeks. My impressions are mixed. The expanded store has lost the charm and intimacy of the old/original co-op, less earthy and much more polished. I'm sure the expanded selection is a welcome change for many members and casual shoppers alike. The store has lost it's friendly atmosphere also. The few times I have gone in since the expansion, I have yet to be greeted let alone acknowledged by any associate when entering an isle or an area in either produce or grocery departments. Something we were always trained and reminded to do when I worked there. All of the associates seemed busy with their work and socializing with themselves. I guess you can lose the intrinsic things that made you successful when you get bigger and busier. That all being said, I will continue to shop and support the co-op and it's community efforts but sad that it's not the same co-op it once was.

Picked up organic lemons and peppermint tea. There is a half isle of teas to pick from. They have a place to eat right there too. Haven't tried it but looked decent.

The FRIENDLIEST staff ever! I visited here on vacation and was amazed at how helpful and personable the staff was. We had a produce worker go out of his way to help us, a meat department worker chat with us about the meat quality and nutrition, and the most enthusiastic cashier I've ever met. Wish I lived closer, I would shop there all the time. I also love how they have various flavors of kombucha that you can choose from a machine like a soft drink machine. Tons of organic options, raw milk, glass over plastic, beef bones, and overall "crunchy." Absolutely loved it.

Definitely a weird vibe at this store with rude cashiers and overpriced items. Not worth it honestly. Tried their buffet food and it was bland.

The recently-expanded store is beautiful and well-stocked with local produce, meats, cheeses and beers as well as everything else you'd need to complete your grocery list. Lots of tempting deli items. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and prices are surprisingly reasonable. Plus, plenty of free parking!

What a fantastic place to stop at and learn about. I thoroughly enjoyed browsing the shelves, the samples, the fantastic staff, and everything I picked up.I especially enjoyed the raw milk from Flying Cloud dairy. Some of the best I have ever had. It's not something I can purchase where I'm from, so it was a special treat. Thanks for the impressive variety of locally produced everything!

I absolutely love going into the co-op to shop. Esp. since the expansion. Staff is always efficient, helpful and goes out of there way to be helpful. Always fresh produce. It's uplifting to visite, the store is organized, well stocked and even with covid, there on top of making there store as safe as possible. They've definitely worked hard. It's such a pleasure.

This place is a wonderful contribution to the Keene community. If I could, I’d do all my shopping here, but it’s quite expensive. The high prices make sense though! They partner with local farmers to provide sustainable options for us, and I appreciate the vibe they have going there. They also have novelty vegan food. There is a hot bar/salad station which is always a hit. I’d take this place over a Whole Foods any day :)
