Five stars does not do this store enough justice. It is my FAVORITE place to go. Amazing and friendly staff, always stocked and clean, and a great selection of products. I love the waffle breakfast sandwiches!! 11/10 incredible!!

It's a shady store to say the least! Always a crackhead or two hanging right out front to spruce the place up. The guy that is always running the register smells like he doesn't know what shampoo or deodorant is and the ladies working the deli don't look much better. Yuck!

Our go-to spot for lunch! Roast beef sandwiches are huge and delicious! Love the $5 steak and cheese grinders on Fridays, and the Rodeo Burger is delicious (see photo)! The staff (Lisa!) and owners are super friendly! The other daily specials are also a great deal and come with chips and an Iced Tea. We love Jakes!

This is my favorite convenience store in Keene! They make the best BLT’s and they have some awesome old school candy!!! Great staff as well… and they never seem to be out of any of my favorites products… so well stocked!

Great convenience store! Here's what they get right: Open till 10pm, good craft beer selection, they have my favorite gum (Dentyne Ice - Black), they make sandwiches (I had ham and cheese with lots of veggies and it it was very good), staff is friendly. It is first rate in its category.The bread quality is low, but I find that to be the norm in Keene.

Staff is nice yes, but they question your purchases and basically add more to your amount-you ask for cigarettes-they say “two?”-“no just one”- “TWO? Four?” Nope just one—-but I have ended up with multiple packs on few occasions and they have attempted to make there own prices with the frozen food they sell….they pre occupy you with conversation so you don’t realize what your paying for—-until your home and it’s too late-plus a receipt is an option or not given at all…

Am amazing place all around great service amazing food. And all the workers are so helpful. Was just attacked by a women claiming to be handicapped dog food thrown at me and they were right there handling it as needed and as professional as possible until police arrived. Me and my family friends all of us eat and go there daily there’s not a better store in Keene hands down. Service food all of it❤️

So I got a sandwich from jakes which was a "Loaded Steak and Cheese". This "Loaded Steak and Cheese was not Loaded. In my opinion it was Unloaded. Rachel is a terrible 🥪 maker. These two stars are for the maker of the sandwich nit the store itself.

Excellent store! The deli is amazing, all made fresh by owner? Or darn good employee! Cashiers are AWESOME, very nice to all. Competitive pricing on cigs, food, beer, not sure on wines, IT IS A ConVENIENCE Store but fairly priced overall. NH Lottery AVAILABLE.

Hidden gem. If you want affordable, fast food, served by personable people who go out of their way to learn your name, then 5 Star is the place to go. They serve hot and cold food from a breakfast sandwich to a full sub and fresh soup and their Ruben is the best in town. Take a moment to stop in grab a cup of coffee and meet some great people. You won't regret it.

Best grinder in town, and the pot pie over biscuits is absolutely decadent! The only suggestion I have is....someone should make pork, green chile, and offer it with fresh homemade tortillas.

Ever since Jake's was bought it has gone down hill dramatically while prices rise, the store is gross the people in charge seem ignorant and the employees don't seem to care at all. Today was the last time I'll be going there.

I live in the neighborhood and can say it's gone downhill under new management...I don't normally take the time to do reviews but feel compelled to tell what just happened to me minutes ago...bought a few things including a pint of milk...got home and took a swig to find it was sour and outdated...brought it back to exchange to find EVERY bottle there was outdated...went to swap for an OJ (same price) and that was outdated too by nearly TWO WEEKS!...I don't recommend buying anything perishable there, not even from the deli...
