Nice rustic themed ice cream and take out place, and mini golf. The signage is a little strange in that it appears to be for the former nextdoor business (rocky brook grill) that shares a driveway which was similar but had a different name. I presume it is the same owner and is the replacement for the grill.We only stopped by for ice cream. They have a good selection of scooped flavors on the menu. You can also get soft-serve. The ice cream was super frozen - probably could even go a vone on a hot day. We had one scoop in a dish. It was very good. It was interesting that my wife said the flavor of her salted caramel improved as it got a bit warmer when the caramel wasn't quite so hard. The amazing part was the price - only $3.79 for a small (single scoop) which actually was a good size cup.The mini golf looked like it was originally well constructed, but it currently looks a bit neglected with weeds growing around. The green carpet of the course looks a bit blackened and discolored. That is isn't to say that you should avoid it, just set your expectations.

Wish we had looked back at reviews .. Same as the last person reviewed was our issue as well. With a large soft serve vanilla it was nothing but grandulated and Chunky!? That supposedly happens if ice cream melts and then refreezes from what I can find online .... Just not the nicest of experiences all around to be honest. So not that I can review the burgers/dogs that are also sold here, but I feel i can say with enough certainty. Drive on to the Smoking Trout, as we luckily had done to begin with for our dinner !

I remember visiting here with my grandparents and whole family when I was younger for a round of mini golf, poutine, and lots of soft serve! I was glad to find it is just as I remembered, food-wise (haven't tried mini-golfing here for a long time though, so I can't give opinion on that aspect). The food is fairly similar to someplace like Kimballs, but at a much better price. Definitely family friendly!! The owner is really nice, and helpful (I am always asking too many questions 😜 ).

terrible. medium vanilla soft serve cone. almost $6.00. ice cream was not smooth, had a sandy lumpy texture with chunks of curdled milk. disgusting. gave a bit to my dog, threw the rest out. never. never. ever.

It’s nice to sit near the water , sounds peaceful and calming . The ice cream was decent . I don’t recommend the food . The fries were over cooked and had no seasoning not even a sprinkle of any salt, the brat was very pink on the inside not edible . The bread was a hotdog roll and was soggy . The mini golf looked fun, just didn’t play .

My Grandmother bought me there and it sucked. The trees were growing over the course, the holes were filled with rocks, and the ponds were puke green. The only good thing good there is the ice cream and the brook behind the place. Also the whole time we were in the brook those stupid dogs wouldn't stop brokenWon't go there ever again. It was supposed to be fun.

It's just too bad the owner couldn't put more money into new carpet for the mini golf it's been like this for many years. probably would get more customers if that was the case. And as I drive by it today they're replacing the roof of the building when they have no customers all year. I see this place no longer in business within the next year

Great local place for mini golf and ice cream. They serve food too, but we have never tried their food. Outdoor mini golf is fun and they are definitely sprucing the place up.

I hate to give bad stars for a local place, but this place is in serious disarray and needs some serious TLC and attention. My boyfriend and I came here after driving past on a whim on a sunny and warm Saturday afternoon . I have lived in the area for years and never thought to come to the place with the giant moose. I have never really seen anyone at this mini-golf place and now I understand why. The place looks decent from afar, but up close its an utter disaster, which you don't fully get the picture of until you are on the course.The cost is $4.00 per person for a round. Which seems typical and fair. The man behind the counter gives you balls and the clubs are in a fun/unique barrel at the start of the course. You are handed a scorecard with the worlds smallest print ever. I seriously think the print and boxes were in size 8 font,making it impossible to write scores down. Was this a cost-saving move? perhaps.Anyway, start at the beginning and find out, you're not sure where the beginning is. There's a practice course, and stones that are numbered, no real posts or flags in the holes. Anyone's guess. We were the only people on the entire course. The giant moose had a broken antler that was sitting on the ground at the entrance, next to orange buckets of garbage and rainwater. The green's were AWFUL. We felt like we were mini-golfing at an abandoned course, almost like we didn't belong there. . The Green carpet was all bunched up all over the place and shrunken, causing lifts at the edge of each course and ensuring your ball goes wherever the course wants it to. Ripples and there is also mats of thick moss growing ON the green carpets on some courses. (I took a photo, as I think people might think I'm exaggerating. I'm not)There is garbage and mounds of dirt where people had been digging, lots of construction left lying around, like old ply-boards. Like a project that once had hope and was forgotten, tools lying around etc. The carpet green had also shrunk causing it to move and cover half of the holes. One hole didn't have a bottom cup and i saw this, we decided the ball would dissapear into nothing, and we decided to quit playing and leave. Just completely not fun, we quit and walked away early very boring.

The owner had disappeared by the time we finished our first round of golf. There were no other employees. The music on the course was so loud we couldn't converse. We were going to play another round and buy ice cream but nobody appeared. As we were getting ready to leave the owner reappeared and asked why we didn't press the button for service.

While they did have hard ice cream prices there are no prices in Sundays or boats they offer. The place had not been mowed and there were no prices for the mini golf which also didn't seamed to maintained.

Drove an hour to play mini gold because it looked fun and an exciting course but it is completely clothes and over grown place is out of business DO NOT GO HERE EVER!!!

This was awful. Not what it used to be by any means, not to mention there is a kennel full of mean dogs outback that bark the whole time. There used to be mini golf, but now the only entertainment they have is a statue of a horse with a piece of putting green turf glued to it's back. Wont be returning anytime soon

The ice cream service was ok but when i wanted to show my husband from Australia the brook behind the building the owner was very rude to ushe said"what are you looking for?"sarcasm for ya dam I just wanted to show my husband the brook cause never been there before
