Basic manners class was awesome! Amy was very informative and extremely helpful with training instruction for myself as well as my dog. Great communications and follow up on classes. I wouldn’t hesitate to sign up for a class.

My dog’s name is Max, he is a rescue. We adopted Max in February 2022 he was 12 wks. He is now 2 years old. He did not like to be picked up and was very skittish. He started to get aggressive when he met new people. I put him in a 4-week board and train program, and it was costly. At the time I thought it was worth it. I wanted the trainer to work on his aggression and jumping. At the end of the course Max was wearing an e-collar and muzzle. I hated to use the collar, but I was trained too. He never addressed the issue of aggression until the very last day. So, I was back at square one and frustrated. I wasn’t sure what to do, but I really needed to help Max and myself. I saw something on Facebook regarding a free webinar for aggressive dogs. I watched and listened to Denise’s presentation. I was very impressed with what she had to offer, but very leery because it was a virtual course. I didn’t know if I could do it. I have to say I am so glad I signed up. Denise and Amy are great to work with. Max no longer has an e-collar, and we are working on his aggression. The best part is I am learning every day about Max, and he is learning about me. He's learning how to trust me. I am learning how to show him he is safe, and everything is OK. They teach you how to know your dog. They give you ways to let your dog know that some behaviors are not acceptable and correct them in a positive way. You don’t have to traumatize your dog with an e-collar. I would highly recommend you contact Denise or Amy if you are having any type of issues with your dog. Don’t put it off, it’s important for your dog and you as an owner to be able to enjoy life together. Picture is Max on the day we adopted him and what he looks like today.

My rescue dog Ember could be quite the terror outside in our yard. Her method of engaging in play was to charge me and nip and bite! It was magnified when my neighbor's dogs were out resulting in crazy zoomies! Not so bad with a little puppy or small dog but Ember was 2 yrs old and 50 lbs!Taking the course on aggressive behaviors gave me a new dog- it provided simple methods for us to follow. Denise also recommended we try scent work as Ember is a hound mix. She loves it and it's provided the mental stimulation she needed.I highly recommend this course to others!

If you have a reactive dog, you NEED to join the Everything Dog: Revealing Your Dream Dog course!I can barely begin to describe how enlightening and educational the Everything Dog program has been for my pups, Huck and Indie, and me! Although I’m located in Alabama, many states away from the Everything Dog home base of New Hampshire, I entered Denise’s virtual program in Oct 2022, after Huck, my young American Pit Bull Terrier, had back-to-back attacks by off leash dogs, resulting in massive fear reactivity in him every time an unknown dog was anywhere near. His trauma was too big for me to handle on my own, especially since he’s a large, powerful breed frequently targeted with hate. I couldn’t afford for him to have reactive, unbalanced reactions in public because we would immediately be deemed guilty of all infractions. The setup of the online program provides numerous amenities. There are worksheets with instructions for specific training activities, questionnaires (to help you assess you and your dog), online video modules to watch real examples and interactions. That’s just the beginning because there is also the private Facebook group and the bi-monthly Zoom with Denise, Amy, and the other group members who are also struggling with their dogs. In the Facebook group, you’re able to post your own videos and comments to be reviewed and assessed by Denise and Amy then receive feedback and direction on what was done well and what might need some additional work. Being able to share my journey with Huck, of our struggles and wins, with everyone else in the group has been just as much a rehabilitation for myself as the actual training has been for Huck. The pieces of the puzzle I learned during my time with the Everything Dog: Revealing Your Dream Dog online program include: the ethological education of our dogs instincts and needs, the guilt free approach to understanding why your dog is/has become reactive (hint: it’s NOT your fault!) and the training tools and skills to understand HOW to respond and help your dog when he’s struggling (because he’s HAVING a hard time, not giving you a hard time) are all crucial elements that have made all the difference in my Huck’s rehabilitation. He’s been so receptive and successful with this program Huck and I can now venture back out in public areas with both of us confident in each other’s ability.

We worked with Amy Willey for four traning secssions. She was great with our puppy Tess and very good in teaching us the proper training techniques. Amy was very patient with my wife and I and gave us good direction and the confidence to continue training Tess afterwards. We would highly recommend Amy.

We have had two very positive classes with Everything Dog. Class is well thought out and the trainer has an excellent understanding of both dog and human behavior. There was a reliable structure to the class and our puppy loved it. The follow up materials and reasonable homework requests made the class very effective in terms of both my dog's and my own behavior.

As a dog trainer myself, it can be hard to impress me with somebody else’s training, but Amy came through and was a fantastic instructor. I like that she is a science-based trainer, using positive reinforcement techniques. I was also impressed that she was able to communicate in language that everybody understood, giving just enough information without overwhelming everyone. My new little rescue and I enjoyed the class, and we made good progress on her skills. I would highly recommend Amy’s classes to anyone looking for a qualified, highly skilled instructor. You’ll make great progress AND have fun!

I am writing this review to express my sincere gratitude for Denise Mazzola’s “Revealing Your Dream Dog” course I recently took. I was at my wit's end with my dog's reactivity issues and social pressures from friends and neighbors. This course has been a lifesaver, and I cannot thank the Denise, Amy and the other participants enough for their support and guidance. Before taking the course, I was struggling to manage my dog's reactivity to other dogs and people. She would become very anxious and would often bark, lunge, or even snap. I was becoming increasingly worried about taking her out in public, and I felt like I was losing control of (and somehow contributing to) a growing situation.I was intrigued in by Denise’s “It’s not your fault” message on a Facebook video. I hoped that the course would provide me with the tools and strategies I needed to help my dog overcome her reactivity. And I am so glad that I did!The course was incredibly comprehensive and informative. The instructor covered everything from the basics of how dog’s learn, to how to how they communicate through body language and how to read it. The incorporation of Kim Brophey’s book “Meet Your Dog” taught me so much about how to understand my dog's triggers and how to help her feel more comfortable in different situations. In addition to the valuable information provided in the course, I was also grateful for the ongoing support from the Facebook group and the Zoom calls. The Facebook group was a great place to connect with other dog owners who were also dealing with reactivity issues. We were able to share our experiences, offer each other support, and celebrate our successes. The Zoom calls were also very helpful. Denise and Amy would use the Zoom calls to check in (and Facebook group) with us individually and to provide personalized feedback. This was so helpful for me, as it allowed me to get specific advice for my dog's unique situation.I am so grateful for the Revealing Your Dream Dog course. It has been an invaluable resource for me, and it has helped me to transform my relationship with my dog. My dog is now so much calmer and more confident, and I am no longer afraid to take her out in public. I highly recommend this course.

We first met Amy Willey of Everything Dog when she came to our house to help us prepare for the arrival of our Standard Poodle puppy. Since then we've had several in-home training sessions dealing with everything from young puppy issues like house-training, teething, and socialization, to teaching our young dog to properly greet visitors, walk safely on a leash, and develop a strong recall. In every session we've benefited from Amy's knowledge, education, and her years of experience. She has been friendly and supportive, responsive to our queries and concerns, always prompt, and unfailingly professional. Having such a competent trainer work with our dog in his own surroundings has been a truly rewarding experience for us. I have already recommended Amy to several of our friends.

Amy creates a fun, information packed hour of training. She makes learning fun for both the dog and their person. Her up-beat, encouraging nature, along with a great sense of humor and obvious knowledge make an hour seem too short. I highly recommend Everything Dog!

We had an awesome class with Amy for Basic Manners. Haley is our second golden that we took a class with her. The class is fun, and Haley fit right in. Tough to end when the hour is up! It was a refresher course for us, and it was so helpful. Amy does a great job of explaining what we need to do to make training a fun and beneficial experience. We highly recommend any of their classes. Thank you again from Haley and Phoenix (our 7-year-old) who took the puppy kindergarten class, years ago!Julie and Andrew

Everything Dog truly provides everything for you and your dog. Denise is a beloved extended family member. She taught us the art of training our 4-legged children by respecting who they are. We began working with Denise before bringing Henry and Mabel home. Thanks to Denise's training methods, our bullies were a quick study to potty training, walking on a leash, coming when called, sitting, and going to their kennel. Having raised bulldogs in the past, we knew the challenges. We know the stubborn. From day one Denise helped us to understand they why of any behavior so we could better establish how to reflect, redirect and help adjust it. She taught us how to consistently establish boundaries, use positive reinforcement and most importantly to respect the psychology of who are dogs are. THEIR AGENDA NOT YOURS. We echo her words to ourselves daily. Henry and Mabel are tried and true stubborn and loveable English bulldogs. Brother and Sister, they have very different personalities. Denise has taught us to navigate each one's likes and dislikes and to respect their agendas. At 5 months Henry began displaying reactivity. If he wanted something and we took it away from him, he would lunge and bite. He would attack the broom and then us if we took it away. He reacted to an electric screwdriver, sharpening a knife in the kitchen and opening a tape measure. His behavior was so unpredictable, and aggressive we knew if not corrected, he could never be left alone with anyone, and he would have to be watched at all times. We were fearful the behavior could not be corrected, and we would have to put him down. Denise taught us his fear and flood of his own emotions resulted in his acting out. In one day, Denise taught us techniques to address the behavior. Within 24 hours, I was able to vacuum the floor while Henry watched. Henry continues to learn how to process how he feels when something scares him, and he respond to commands without lashing out.Denise is Everything to us and to our Dogs. Training never stops. We can't thank her enough. -- Erica, Rich, Henry & Mabel

I found this wonderful dog training program through an advertisement on Facebook but it was virtually. How could this work lol. First I needed to have a total shift in my beliefs on how to train your dog and remain open to learn. Not being “pack leader” but addressing the psychology of the dogs behavior and my response to it was revolutionary. After the initial seminar they offered for free on how they help you and your beloved dog I was on fire to sign up and I did. I will be forever grateful. Parker is a 10 month old Golden Retriever full of enthusiasm to meet others, chew shoes, chase the cat and eat my hands. I have learned through the training how to instill confidence in myself and Parker. As you can tell I hands down recommend their course.

We loved the Basic Manners class! We have had dogs for decades, but every dog is different. Through the class, we learned approaches that work best for This Puppy today. The class was lighthearted and fun; both we AND the puppy looked forward to participating. The hour flew by! Highly recommended.

Amy was just amazing with a six year old rescue field dog (setter). It was not so much teaching, but first understanding a dog with a sketchy unknown history and in need of comfort, love and security. These women are extraordinary!

Amy and Denise have been a game changer for us and I cant recommend them enough.- They take a holistic approach to looking at what is going on and how they can find balance between the owner and dog to create the type of relationship you are looking for.- They give straightforward personalized advice to fit your dogs needs.- They are supportive during the process and beyond, and provide a very calm grounding energy.- Just nice down to earth people who love dogs!We will continue to work with Amy and Denise as things come up, and I recommend them to everyone who needs assistance big or small.

My family brought our Saint Bernard, Mabel, to Denise when our veterinarian recommended she see a behaviorist and I am amazed with how much I was able to learn through our sessions. Denise is such a dedicated trainer who took the time and effort to personalize our sessions to Mabel's exact needs, as well as help us understand her reactive behavior towards strangers. The guidance we were given has helped Mabel become a much more confident dog, who is better in control of her emotions, and I am so much more able to understand her needs as we go about our day-to-day life.I feel so much closer and more able to communicate with Mabel with everything I learned, and I think every family with dogs deserves the same. If you want to really understand what makes your dog tick, and how to have the best partnership with them possible, Everything Dog is the place to go!Attached are two pictures of Mabel out on hikes enjoying her newfound confidence.

Everything Dog is incredible; we have had many trainers and attended many online seminars. Thank goodness we saw and responded to a post from Everything Dog about a free webinar. This was one of the best decisions we have made as far as dog training. We ended up signing up for a 6 month course and it was worth every penny. The course includes work sheets, study material and a plethora of video courses to learn from and help through the training journey, also the private Facebook group, zoom calls with Denise, Amy and the other participants in the class and the bonus zoom calls with one of the nations best behaviorists, Kim Brophey and the ability to upload videos and get same day feedback. This was the most all inclusive course we have ever done. Of course if you are looking for great results like we had, you must be committed to the training and working with your dogs.We have 3 Newfoundlands and 6 months ago we started the program with thinking that our only possibility was to rehome our 4 year old Newf. Approximately 2 years ago he became reactive and aggressive towards our senior 12 1/2 year old Newf and wanted to kill him. We have had to keep the 4 year old separated from the senior guy through good safety management in the house and a series of gates. Our other Newf is 6 years old and gets along with everyone and is timid around the 4 year old.at the beginning of this course the 4-year-old did not play well with others and was bullying the 6-year-old. With the techniques and tools that we learned this is pretty much a. thing of the past. The reactivity and excessive barking is at least 90% controlled know.I consider these 6 months a complete success and by far one of the best investments we have made, and we have lifetime access to the online training course and videos. For anyone thinking that the only thing to do is rehome your dog, dont give up, reach out to Denise and Amy at Everything Dog You will not regret it.Thank you to Everything DogPaul and Terry ByerSpringfield Missouri

This is a great class! Amy made it fun, informative and challenging enough for each team to keep everyone’s interest! Everything was set up for success: limited number of dogs, delineated space for each dog/human team, distracting activities for the dogs while the humans listened, tasks broken down into easy steps. All communications from logistics to teaching skills were very clear. The best part is that everything is POSITIVE! I’ve had many dogs and have attempted training programs in the past that felt punitive (choke collars) or were too elaborate (clicker training) and I never applied the procedure. This class was just right and I use what I learned every day —many times!Thank you, Amy!

I adopted a two year old rescue dog in December and knew immediately that I wanted to sign her up for training sessions as she was nervous and terrified of everything. I contacted Everything Dog and got a consultation appointment with Amy quickly. Amy spent two hours with me in that first consultation asking about my goals for training, learning about my new dog and my other dog, and my home/habits. We had several training sessions after that both in my home and out in public. I found these sessions extremely beneficial to both myself and my new dog. I feel like I got as much training as my pup! Amy helped me better understand my dog's behavior and teach her basic skills and confidence. Amy is professional, knowledgeable, and patient. I highly recommend Everything Dog whether you are looking to train an older rescue dog or puppy.

We adopted a dog that ended up being reactive on leash. It made walks that used to be enjoyable really stressful. We worked with Amy over the course of a few sessions and she gave me some great methods to use to distract and redirect his attention. We worked in situations where there were dogs and other people, so I felt we were getting real experience, not just hypothetical. The reactiveness is not gone, but I at least feel better prepared for when it happens. Amy was always super generous with her time, knowledgeable and very attentive to Jasper's stress levels. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her if you have a pup with similar issues.

My puppy started to display fear reaction. I went to Denise open to nearly anything to help him and also believing that he was young/motivated enough to work through it. My hope was to train him to know that I would never put him in a situation where he needed to defend himself. He had basic obedience, but she felt that these were points that needed work instead of learning how to live in the real world. After a couple of months, Bo had tried to bite 2 people (I caught it in time) and actually bit 1. Denise told me that his behavior would never change and that the best course was to not allow him to interact with anyone/anything. We had one additional session after this, during which she continued to press the only solution was to isolate or return him to the rescue (despite having told her he would be euthanized for his bite history).I felt Bo was capable of more and knew that 100% avoidance of all things is unrealistic. I ended up contacting Chris Gilman at Green Mountain K9, and within 2 sessions, Bo was trained to have action instead of reaction - if he does not want interaction with something, he returns to me instead of lashing out - which is all I had asked for in the first place with Denise.Let me end with this - Denise is NOT a bad trainer. I’d recommend her for basic puppy obedience (and have in fact done so), but if you have concerns about behavioral issues, Chris is better equipped to help you with a dog who may other wise be isolated, given up/abandoned, or euthanized. The 2 stars is because she wasn’t open to alternate methods (praise instead of food, not rewarding all behavior), didn't place value in my input (Bo's motivation to please, inability to 100% isolate), OR recommend Chris (who she was aware was working with aggressive dogs) - only recommending that I sign up for more training with her (even after she told me that Bo would never change).** edit in response -I asked more than once for a training outside of your home in open-air environments, to which you told me that he was not ready. When we finally had one session outside (on Main St), we did one lap and used 3 chicken breasts to do it - he will eat but is not motivated by food. You said he did great, that you thought he was making huge progress. I felt it was unsafe to HOPE I could keep him distracted. That was when I told you about his bite/bite attempts - you replied that I should have told you before we had our session because you wouldn’t have allowed for the session to be in public if you had known and that behavior is “just who he is and that will never change”We were training for crate and being behind closed doors (both HUGE stressors for him) so that he could be isolated in the event someone did come to my house. The “demand barking” wasn’t that. He would sit at the window and bark/growl at anyone/thing that went by. You suggested keeping blinds closed or having bottom windows covered so he could not see out.We completed 5/6 trainings with you (from Feb thru late April). After being told 2 sessions in a row that he would never change, I saw it futile to cont. I do not owe you an explanation for that OR for seeking an alternate opinion.I waited 1 year to review you to ensure that Bo continued to be a changed dog. I didn’t want to leave a review without knowing his full and sustainable capability.Yes, Bo is trained with a prong & E-collar. Shaming people for taking protective measures with their aggressive dogs is not something I will stand for. We have tools in place to GUARANTEE he will not be able to bite another person, even if he forgets his training. They are stop-gaps for protection. It’s like shaming someone for using a leash to prevent their dog from running into traffic. To be clear, Bo can walk at a perfect heel, without any collars on, around people and animals… I just choose to be responsible with my 100lb dog who is stronger than I am.

I have used Everything Dog several times in the last 6 years, with different pups and behavior issues, and each time am so glad I did. Both Denise and Amy provide such helpful advice, and have given me the tools to better understand and communicate with my dogs. They have been partners in my goal of providing the best possible care and life for my pups, and I am grateful for the service they provide.Amy was incredibly helpful last year when I was dealing with a scary bout of aggression between two of my dogs. With her help and support, my family was able to make changes for the safety and well-being of all of our four dogs. We are now living happily aggression-free and having gained the tools so that something like this will hopefully never happen again. Thank you, Everything Dog, for the amazing service that you provide!

My experience with Everything Dog has been absolutely outstanding. My puppy Maple and I have attended two classes with Amy and plan to take two more in the near future. After attending classes with eight trainers in several states with multiple dogs throughout the years, I can say that the education I received at Everything Dog is truly exceptional. The training is evidence-backed, rewards-based, positive and engaging. A heartbreaking experience with a reactive dog in the past highlighted how critical that type of training is, and I wish I had found Everything Dog sooner. In addition to the high-quality training, Amy and Denise are amazingly professional and communicative; they run a superb business. If you are looking for a trainer for your puppy or help with a reactive dog, I cannot recommend Everything Dog enough. Thank you so much, Amy and Denise!

If you are looking for a trainer for you dog, I highly recommend Everything Dog! I have taken 2 classes with Amy and have enjoyed both. I wanted a training that was fun and stress free, and that is just what I got. If you are looking for a trainer who is going to train your dog for you, this might not be the class for you. This class equipped me with the tools I needed to train my own dog. Tools that I can apply to any dog I may own. I learned how to get my dog to respond to my commands while engaging and playing with her. What I appreciated the most was Amy's understanding that each dog is different. Amy was very receptive to my dogs needs (anxiety) and was able to adjust the training to let us be successful. Again, if you want to train your dog while building a strong relationship with them, you can't go wrong with Amy at Everything Dog!!!

We learned so much from Amy during our pups basic manner class. The class was well thought out. Makes this novice dog mom confident in managing our pups to build more positive "mass."Amy was excellent and very knowledgeable in dog behavior. We would definitely go back and do their other classes.

We, and our Golden Retriever, Oliver, totally enjoyed our Puppy K class with Amy from Everything Dog NH! We were impressed with the way that Amy instructed us how to work with Oliver using fun games, and training tips with the goal of having Oliver be focused and obedient. He loved the fun classes, and learned a lot, and so did Dave and I!!We highly recommend Everything Dog NH… we are looking forward to our next class!

As the owner of a multiple dog home virtual dog training was actually what I really needed. Real time training tools for the CHAOS that ensued when the doorbell rang or the pack heard a ghost noise. Trainers Denise Mazzola and Amy Willey were able to provide me with great training tools to help calm the dogs. Sharing videos with them and receiving feedback is really ideal.

My dog is a 3 year old hound rescued from Virginia who developed reactivity/fear issues. I worked with Denise through individual at home sessions and the Dream Dog Course. Both experiences were a great success! My dog is now more relaxed, happy and confident. Denise aided me in understanding how to manage her environment and learn how to respond to her undesirable behaviors in a consistent and positive way. Denise is very knowledgeable of dog behaviors, helping you understand why dogs do the things they do. I can't thank her enough for the positive impact she has had in both our lives!
