We love MMR and the work they do. We adopted our first pup from them when they were still Canine Commitment of New England. We unfortunately lost our Daisy too soon due to cancer and we decided to go visit during an open house to see if we were ready to adopt again. Needless to say we fell in love with Bryce (FKA Ash). He’s such a little cuddle bug and loves having a huge yard to run around in and a furry big sister to show him the ropes. Thank you guys for this little ray of sunshine and we know Daisy would be proud to know we decided to rescue another pup.

Great rescue! We "foster failed" the first night we brought home Peppermint (Motley Mutts named her that and we loved it!) last December 23rd :) The adoption process was thorough yet quick. Super nice people who work/volunteer there.Almost a year later and we are still thrilled and in love with our Peppermint! Highly recommended!

I love this rescue and see first hand how hard they are working to care for an immense number of dogs in need. I started volunteering here a couple years ago to help process applications and walk dogs waiting to be adopted. All of the dogs I've had the gift of interacting with have been so incredible. I also recently adopted a dog from them personally an she has been the sweetest, best addition to our family. They work with partners in Mississippi to get tons of dogs out of terrible situations and could use any help you're able to offer: adopting, volunteering, donating,etc.

This is an amazing rescue that cares so much about the dogs they adopt out. Background checks and references are thorough, but they usually don't take too long or keep people from adopting unless there are some serious concerns. They have dogs of every shape and size, age, and breed. You will definitely find your best friend here. I surely did with my sweet Mabel ❤️! Adopt, don't shop!

Very unprofessional adoption facility. They approve people in tiny, run-down apartments who can't even afford a decent vehicle or quality food, and they deny (without stating a reason) a middle class home owner with solid employment, a nice yard and neighborhood, good references (who they never contacted), and no negative pet history or ownership, so they have no valid reason to do so. They would rather see a dog euthanized or put in an unhealthy environment rather than place them in a loving home with a good family. Do not support this organization with funding, as they are not following any rules or guidelines of fairness.

They sold my parents a pit bull. Told them it was a mix. Very irresponsible, they can sit here and say that it wasn’t, you could tell by looking at it, 💯. My parents are older and my dad just really wanted a dog, I think they used his emotion to get rid of a garbage pit bull. Not ok. If I could give 0 stars I would. It wasn’t a pure bred pit bull but a mix. Literally feeding off of and old persons emotions, trash people with garbage dogs

Wow we are so impressed the people who make up the Motely Mutts Rescue. They really are saving dogs at an amazing rate! These dogs come from down south, they’re dirty, and scared. But when they arrive in Hooksett they are met with so much love from this crew. They are highly efficient at making matches. We lost out on the first dog we applied for because someone already had an application in. But we still went to an open house to meet them and introduce ourselves to the team. Once our application was “pre-approved” we waited for their next arrival of pups. We saw one we liked, made an appointment to meet and greet and within 45 minutes we were on our way home with our rescue pup! At the rescue we were able to see how he interacted with his siblings and other dogs. After a bath and a few hours of love, we saw he was relaxed and felt safe in our home. When we reached out after with questions and they promptly replied. The people that make this rescue process a reality are genuine animal lovers and are saving so many dogs from being put down. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough! Thank you for the opportunity to save our boy!

I was emailed at 9AM on Tues 11/28/23 by a representative of the rescue that my application had been approved, and we were good for the doggo meet & greet. Was I available Wednesday between 3-6 to schedule an appointment to have my existing dog meet with my potential new dog? Meetings generally lasted 30 min and if all went well I could take the new dog home same day. Scheduling was very important, they added. I work Tues-Sat from 8AM-2PM, my days off are Sun/ Mon. I emailed back Wednesday morning, that a Wednesday PM meeting didn't work for me. I told them I was not comfortable with leaving my current dog and the new dog unattended on Thursday, and that Saturday would be better as we would have Sunday + Monday together to acclimate. I also provided my cell and encourage said contact person to text me as I would not be able to check my email during my work day on Wednesday. I was informed via text message that the dog wouldn't be held for me for a Saturday introduction. I was also told that Saturday was a busy day so it would not be an ideal time for a dog introduction. If you review this outfits website, they have open houses on Saturdays and encourage potential adopters to be pre approved before coming in, which is exactly what I did, but now it's not a good time for dog introductions? Essentially I could either come get the dog Wednesday, or that was all. Maybe she would still be available after, maybe not. This is a rescue that claims to care about finding quality forever homes for their dogs, yet refuses to hold an 8yr old mutt, with a $500 price tag for literally four days? What dog owner is available on Wednesday with less than 24hrs notice to adopt a new (old/ rescue) dog? I find this lack of cooperation ridiculous, and suspect enough that I am actually negatively reviewing an animal rescue.

We had such a wonderful experience with Motley Mutts when we rescued our senior girl. The staff was honest, caring, and devoted to finding the right fit for each dog. We look forward to adopting from them in the future!

They lied to us to get a dog out the door and take our money. Posted her as housebroken and that was our deal breaker. We were very clear about that up front. She was not housebroken at all-never once was able to use the bathroom outside. We brought her back so that she could find a more suitable home. She disappeared off their website again almost immediately so they obviously found her another home quickly. They got paid twice for the same dog and never refunded our money. Very dishonest. We found another awesome rescue locally that was honest and have a great rescue dog from Puero Rico now! Instead of getting the money back from Motley Mutts, we got an email berating us even though their dishonesty was the root cause of the problem. Beware of using them!

I love Motley Mutts!!! We adopted Gus (fka Tux) last June and he has changed my life.💗 Everyone I worked with was great. The application process was thorough and I appreciate that. We brought our first born with us to see how they interacted and the ladies we worked with were so sweet to him as well. The Motley Mutt staff were quick to respond to any emails I sent after the adoption as well. Such a positive experience. Thank you for helping to rescue my boy.

This is an amazing organization. If you are looking for a new dog, look no further. I can't say enough amazing things about the how professional each person I spoke with is. It's almost hard to believe most of the staff are volunteers. In particular, I worked with Brittany, Amanda, Pamela and Michelle who are phenomenal at what they do!!!!Adopting Honey (FKA Blue Belle) has been a game changer!!!! Our hearts feel so full and we couldn't be happier.Thank you so much!!!

My family and I rescued our German shepherd/husky mix from motley mutts about 3 months ago. We where extremely nervous not knowing the process and this being our first pet but I have to say, they were so extremely helpful and thoughtful, they made the whole process feel so Good knowing that they care so much for the animals and we couldn’t be more grateful for our newest family member! We would absolutely recommend mottley mutts. You can really tell this is their passion !

We got our pup March 2022. We had tried to go through at least 3 other adoption places before we found Motley. This rescue has some of the most amazing fosters before setting up the pups with their forever homes. I haven't heard a single bad thing about any dog that has been adopted. Our Finnigan (fka Elmo) is the sweetest, goofiest pup around. Motley made the adoption process quick and easy. They even set up a Facebook page to post updates and connect with other adoptees. Again, I haven't heard 1 bad thing!!! Motley is doing it right. I can't reccomend /thank them enough.

Fell in love with a dog they posted online, submitted an application and a month later I have yet to hear from anyone after repeatedly reaching out to them. Seems weird they are constantly posting new dogs yet don’t respond
