The employees here are always beyond nice. We went in today and it was very busy but the employees working the front desk were extremely apologetic for the wait. There were people being nasty in line but these workers were doing everything they could while being extremely cheerful.

As a ex worker here this place is bad. We are paid under, expecting to work all these crazy hours and to top it off as a POC i was discriminated by my employer and the customer. When i had racial slurs said to me my employer said its part of the job...

This store is lousy, bought a phone on discount if buying a phone card. Cashier gave me back the receipt I gave her for $5 off over $25. Not the one for the phone. Phone didn't work. Brought back phone and got what I paid in a gift card. Went to the next town overs store...... Wouldn't give me the same phone for the store credit... Unless I bought another phone card. I just paid $45 FOR A NON REFUNDABLE CARD.SO NOW NO PHONE AND A CARD I CAN'T USE. Absolute waste of real-estate that store takes up.

I have been giving this store my business for roughly 1 year frequently. There is an ongoing trend of advertised prices not being honored and always more than what is advertised. Today I was told the reason is understaffed. The manager was short but offered to give me a five dollar credit the next time I came in after telling me she would not give my change back that I was due. I will give the store another shot but will go elsewhere with my shopping if it happens again. Kinda feels like a bait and switch scenario due to it happening every time I shop. Times are expensive and every bit adds up. Sorry you are understaffed but how is that the customers problem. Aways check your receipts here.

Good place to get inexpensive groceries. The selection is limited, but for families on a budget it is much cheaper than Shaws. Also a good place for toiletries and cleaning supplies. Often seems like they do not have enough staff, as there are often long waits at the registers even when it isn't busy.

Thought it was ok at first but has only gotten worse staff is very rude,am always met with an attitude.asked if I need a bag if I have one or ten items. Crowded, shipments never put away just sits in the aisle. Sale signs are never taken down when the sale is over and it just really seems like no one wants to work when they are there and it's taken out on customers,pretty much done with there. They need serious work

Went midday and was welcomed to the wafting perfume of cigarettes tent outside by two different employees. watch them walk in without washing their hands and immediately tend to a customer trying to check out. it was so crowded and so messy with stuff falling into the isles on the floors in lining every aisle I couldn't even get through with the carts that are provided. Definitely not going back to this location

Its clean, decent amount of products are available, The workers have always been nice and helpful. The only downside is that even with a sign posted telling people masks are mandatory, I have come across a few people shopping with no mask on.

This store is often hard to get a cart through. Lights are out in the front outside entrance and there is often employees smoking out front by the doors. I've also had two different times I've gone to purchase something that appeared to be on sale and the tags were 'forgotten' and not taken down. The sale price was not honored and I felt that it was bad customer service. I dont even try shopping for their sales. I go in to get what I need and leave. There is often a long line and only one register open.

I went to this store for the first and only time a week ago. The store was disorganized, the store was dirty, there was so much stuff on the floor that I often was worried about trip hazards, and the staff were not helpful. I asked the staff to look for something for me and that flatly refused, they didn't even attempt to be helpful. I was against this store coming into our town and decided to finally give the store a try. All visiting store did was confirm that Dollar General was not and still is not a good fit for the Town of Henniker

New interior design, added lots of grocery items. I'm a little sad to see the majority of the clothing leaving the Hillsboro, NH store. Over all a great place to shop.

Went here to shop and the manager, Micaela, approached me and told me to leave due to a comment I made in a personal conversation with my girlfriend. The comment I made was about the cleanliness and organization and that it was messy and she was completely offended. I told her that it was disrespectful and she gave me a fist bump which was also unprofessional. There is a first amendment , if you’re offended about my comment, that I made in private, ORGANIZE THE STORE and STOP EAVESDROPPING.

They literally have every thing I need, name brands too! Super cheap and better than wall-mart. Only draw back was there is no section for freash produce and meats other wise i wouldn't shop anywhere else.

Has what you need. Food, water, games, and more. Could use some more help as there is usually only one person in the store. I tried to go there and they closed 5 hours early because they had no help. They need to hire more people.

I love these stores but often find it is understaffed. One register only open so long waits in lines when you see 2 other employees around the store you wonder why they do not just hop on a register and get customers out a bit quicker.

First off, Ever since first day neither outdoor signs have been lit at night. Too bad management can't figure out how to turn on a switch.Main issue is the store is TERRIBLY under staffed! Isles cluttered with boxes and carts. No backup when a employee calls in sick. One person at the register and it's a 10 minute wait.Apparently the only way for Dollar General to turn a profit is to under pay employee's and under staff.Sad

Walpole NH,,new is always great, helicopter land land developer, big parking lot,,best bags for stuff when done shopping.. as seen on TV section. Great variety meds suppliments, food,,dollar candy,, people there are happy to help and store stocked well. Family Dollar need to step it up and treat the workers better.

All the workers are so awesome is it tore my daughter really really trying to get and she had seen them at Dollar General so couple days later I went and I couldn't find them for 15 minutes tracking down she found them I definitely like the store

Horrible experience today. Required massage customers though more than half of the staff were not wearing them or having them below their nose or mouth. Every item I picked out and brought to the register was marked incorrectly. I will never go back
