2/17/24 visit: we bought delicious, fresh sushi and we had it for lunch in a nice, clean part of the store set-up for eating. They have an indoor and outdoor eating area, no frills but much appreciated!The cheese selection is spectacular!We bought some basics because the prices are so good. We bought local Robie farms sausage which was delicious. They had an amazing selection of high end Asian products, some of the nicest fish sauce I have ever seen .. great store!Excellent selection of everything; produce is huge with beautiful fruits and vegetables!Sushi!!!! So fresh and it looked amazing!Beautiful meats and a large local selection.Local honey; a shelf of local raw honey choices!And everything else that you would expect, gluten free breads and pizzas in the freezer, a whole row of pre-made foods and deserts which is really nice ...Excellent choices for Asian ingredients which I was excited to get my favorite Nishiki rice!All this and a bag of chips ... a little film industry humor, actually, the prices are excellent!Clean store.friendly staff!Free paper bags!!!

I wish I took pictures but everyone at our BBQ ate the food so fast! We ordered 30 burgers and 10lb of cubed chicken from the butcher. My first phone call was so pleasant and the manager Cody was super helpful. Even when we picked up the order, the meat counter employees were so nice. We also got a bunch of deli meat sliced and the young gentleman was pleasant. Even the bagger and cashier who I did not get their names were nice. I’m not used to such friendly service by every employee when I go shopping anywhere. Thanks team!

Always a good time at the COOP! I love all the local and organic options often right from the farm stand. It’s pretty pricy though but it’s a local staple you should check out if you’re visiting the Upper Valley.

Great choice of food, with healthy and organic choices. This location also offers an eat-in cafe. All this in "whole foods" style and price range.

Love the variety of unique grocery offerings. The bakery section with breads/etc. from a variety of local bakers is awesome. And the guys working the butcher counter are always very helpful.

They always have some items I can't find at Hanaford or other stores. If I'm looking for some local baked goods or an ingredient for a recipe, most of the time, the Co-Op has it. Need duck fat to make your Thanksgiving dinner better? They have it. Craving a local dairy's ice cream? They probably have all their flavors. It's also a great selection with their butcher. Sometimes, they have better sales than Hanaford, so it's always worth a look.

I shopped there as a med student. I always remembered friendly staff, fresh produce, and their high quality meats and seafood. If you are into organic and local brands, they have a nice selection.

My experience today was really bad. I bought 2lb sirloin steak, which they wrapped up. When I unwrapped it at home, it was really bloody and smelly, but I didn't care much at the time and put it in griller anyway. It turned it was completely spoiled! How come the butcher guy didn't notice that?! I'm trying to them the benefit of the doubt that, though unlikely, it was probably unintentional. Very disappointed they would do that! 😓

Happened upon this place and was delightfully surprised. Impressive selection, store well laid out, and prices reasonable for the area and type of store. Check out was quick and friendly. Best of all for the moment, ready-to-eat foods were delicious. Will return if in area.

I'm a fan of the Coop and have been a member for 30 + years, however, the deli might re-consider its packaging. Many foods are packaged in plastic and, notwithstanding the chemical additives, most recyclers don't accept the plastic formulations used by the deli.Other coop food stores in Vermont are more advanced. For example, the Brattleboro Coop uses BioPlus Terra II #1 packaging which seems of a higher quality.Can we do better with packaging?

Newly renovated, the co-op is a consistently great grocery store. They have a nice mix of name brands and local goods, and the produce and meat are excellent quality. Only downside is that I don't live close enough to frequent their stores anymore.

This is the best supermarket in the area. It feels a bit like a Whole Foods but with more much more local character, better value and less corporate branding. What would be an excellent supermarket anywhere in the U.S. is a diamond in the rough out here.

The Co-op Food Stores-Hanover is fantastic. Their curbside delivery is simple to use and efficient. The staff are friendly and the items selected are great. I've always loved going into the store and shopping myself, but I greatly appreciate still having the opportunity to get my groceries while social distancing.

The store is pretty decent and enjoyable to shop at. However, the overall review suffers tremendously because parking is a constant nightmare. It's impossible to enjoy the store with the current state of parking. If the parking situation is fixed, then the shopping experience will be much improved.

May be a little more pricey but good selection and stock of things not in regular stores great meat and fish section and ability to buy amounts one needs. Bulk goods great. Fresh veggies actually look fresh.

Breakfast sandwich with American cheese? Only Co-op I've ever seen offer only American. Asked if I could order one an was told no. But if I waited I could order a lunch sandwich? Last time I was in they had me wait over 10 minutes to say we stopped making custom lunch sandwiches 5 minutes ago, but offered me old pre-made sandwiches. HORRIBLE SERVICE!

This is the cleanest, happy-people grocery store ever. The produce, meats, cheese all fantastic. They also have a full flower department well stocked and very knowledgeable. Prices are fair. I love this store!

Very nice store, there are great deals available when you are a member, I will join as I am moving to town soon. Selection and Service were both very good. Store is well organized and clean. Quite a few people were shopping but it was appropriately staffed, so lines were quick.

Pretty great co-op. Lot's of selection, reasonable prices. I was especially impressed with their cheese selection. Fortunately you don't have to be a member to shop here. Everything you would expect from a co-op in New England.

Great local produce, meats, and cheeses. Good selection of pre-prepared foods (get the in house smoked pulled pork if they have it). Not cheap by any means, but produce and meats are worth it.

The coop is a great community grocery store. They offer shopping for the elderly a full Deli for lunch great Seafood and Meat counter. Personalized service at its best can't go wrong going here for lunch or your shopping needs Etc
