1. The women's wash building by the dumpster has only one toilet in the back and the foot flush is behind on the right side. Kind of nostalgic! The slide lock hole has been damaged to the point it doesn't hold. Lots of shower stalls, where there is a large swimming area I figured they are needed to wash off. This year, 2023 has been exceptionally rainy and wet, while exploring the many campsites since there is a low amount of campers being September and it's a weekday, I found many different varieties of mushrooms.

I simply loved this place. Even though it is absolutely humongously big ,I didn’t feel like I was crowded. Granted, I did go in the fall when most people aren’t there, but there were still people around me. It was quiet. A beautiful lake for swimming or dipping, close access to some trails ,very dog friendly and wooded sites. Easy access to bathrooms and water Definitely going back

Great place to camp. Beautiful beach. Nice playground for the kids. The little store had some unique and interesting things for sale. The free showers were hot and the pressure was good. Bathrooms were clean. I love the hot water dish washing sink.

What an underrated campground! Multiple swimming spots within walking distance (though there are also parking spots available) and really reasonable prices at the camp store. Campsites were really big and well distanced from each other. Noise and crowds were not an issue at all. Even the bathrooms were impressively maintained.

Loved everything but the shower situation. Way too few showers on a packed weekend. Big campsites with plenty of forest growth for privacy, nice beach, friendly staff, activities for the kids on weekends. Enjoyed our stay, with 5 kids and 5 adults on 2 neighboring sites. Get your firewood from the nearby fire station; they have the best deal.

My wife and kids visited the park for a weekend camping trip and had an amazing time! The park had a local store with basically everything you’ll need since it’s almost impossible to pack everything Their lake is great for swimming and kayaking! The campsites are far enough away from each other where you have privacy but not too far where you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. This was the first camping trip our kids went on and I’m glad we choose here. Having bathrooms and showers is a must with three kids.

Greenfield State Park provided an excellent camping experience for my friends and I. Campsites were well maintained. Bathrooms were clean. Campers and employees were respectful. The lake, beach, and trails were beautiful. Well worth the visit, I will be returning soon!

This place was better than expected. Very quiet and beautiful. We camped there on the July 4th wknd (first time) and have no regrets! Campgrounds were big but lots of dust compared to other sites we've been but that is ok nothing they can do about it. For swimming we chose the otter lake (main beach) as the water was better with no algaes at all and the area had more shades and sand. Showers were very clean with hot water and best of all..free! I wish they can have more visitors it seems a little bit lonely.

We had a blast here, each campsite was clearly marked and the loops were also clearly marked with signs along the way as well. Bathrooms and shower building were all well maintained and clean. Quiet hours are from 10-7 but there will always be an occasional conversation or laughter from a nearby campsite that can be heard. Dogs are allowed on camp sites but not on beaches (though I saw people bringing them anyway), so expect the occasional barking too. Each site comes with a picnic table and a fire pit + grill. Ours had some glass bottles and aluminum cans in it when we arrived so be wary before starting a fire. There are no electric or water hookups at the RV sites. You can tent camp at RV sites though, which was nice. The park office was well stocked and had an electric hookup available for people to charge their appliances or air mattresses.

It was nice. The bathrooms were clean. The site size varies. There is a lake to swim in. It is nice. You can fish. Great for a canoe or kayak. The nearest store is about 3 miles away. The camp store has a few basics.Playground: Not near the campsites. It is ok.Restrooms: Very clean and not too far from campsites.Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly. Not on the beach.Picnic area: At the beach and playground.

Great camp site/s with different views such as lake and sunset. A site for a night’s or for week long camping. A bear is heard to inhabitant / roam around this camp site as shared by the registration team.

Beautiful park with plenty of opportunities to explore. The upkeep in the park is clearly important to the employees as it shows throughout with clean bathrooms, showers, trails, beach area and picnic tables. There is plenty to do here and I'd recommend this park to everyone.

Great place to spend time with your friends and family! Great natural experience. Well maintained restrooms is a great plus. We totally enjoyed our stay. Good trails too and "Do bring your swimsuit for a nice time in the lake!" have fun!!!

Super cool experience! The camp sites are well maintained with ample space for two car parking and two tents. Many restrooms with flush toilet and water taps. Wherever is your tent site you will find one restroom and water tap within walking distance. Have hot shower near the welcome center which is well maintained and open 24 hours. Tent sites have fire rings and 6$ firewoods available at the welcoming me center.Small trails are quite enjoyable on the way to Otter lake. Kayaking in Otter lake is an added fun. I enjoyed a lazy beach day on the Otter lake shore. We were not carrying tubes but would recommend carrying tubes for the kids! Wholesome family adventure and fun filled camping. I will highly recommend this site for adventure loving family.

Visually pretty much the way I remember it growing up in the 80s. Clean park, Noisy at night which is new. Very low ranger presence. I think they could do a better job enforcing park rules. Huge parties going on all day until midnight and a lot of not low key alcohol at the lake. Cigarette butts on the beach. I don't have a problem with people drinking at the lake but this was like a frat party. People fishing in the swimming area. Bathrooms were clean. Beach was kept clean. Campsite still had previous campers lines tied up and cigarette butts and bottle caps all around. (Which we cleaned up.) Folks at the ranger station were very nice. Overall nice but there are nicer NH State Parks.

Excellent campsite! Each site has privacy, space, and a beautiful setting. My husband and I are new to the area this year. We enjoyed a quiet weekend surrounded by the colorful autumn leaves.Safe to say, we’ve established our go-to camping spot. Thank you!

Lovely wooded state park that allows dogs except for on the beaches. We camped here and the camp store was well stocked, rangers were helpful and friendly, and the campsite was private but also close to the bathrooms. There’s a private beach on the lake for campers. I would absolutely come and stay again!

Otter lake is a great couple hour canoe trip. Lake has a bit of diversity too. Loons. Turtles. Wide variety of bugs/insects. Ducks. Not a lot of trails but there are 2 beaches for swimming or fishing.Camp store has everything you would ever need. Staff there is also super friendly.Only complaint is the lack of quite hour enforcement in the campground area. Could hear people loudly singing until about 11:30.Would come back. Plan on going back.

Almost a home run. On the plus side, the sites are large and private. On the minus side, they allow generators to be run from 9am-noon and 5-9pm for RVers which really ruins the camping experience for everyone else. They are dreadfully LOUD. I think if you are an RVer who needs power, go to a campground that has hookups! We also found the layout to be less than ideal, specifically that the awesome playground is located at the far end of the park by the public beach. It is too far from the campground to walk there, so we had to drive as the roads were quite narrow/ hilly for biking. I wish they had a 2nd playground on the camper's beach end of the park or closer to the campsites themselves.

Our trip was great! All sites in our area were very spaced out and private; no hookups but water was close by(I would recommend a filter though)The office was quaint and sold a few items.Staff was extremely friendly, road are all paved and site was relatively level. I will say that neighbors were rather noisy, but for the price and privacy; it was well worth it! I will say to avoid site 252, (we were in 251) because the road dead ends there; and so many get lost and drive to the end of the road and turn around in the entrance to site 252, overall we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

Awesome state park. Very large sites, clean bathrooms and shower house. Nice small lake with Beach. And the office has a small store that sells ice and a few camping necessities.

Good state park! Felt a bit like a state or national forest campground! Lots of great hiking nearby - we did Ted’s trail to the top of North Pack and Crotched Mtn.Stayed for a week in mid June and had wonderful weather. Sites say max length 38 but our fifth wheel is 41 with the bikes on back and we had tons of space (though much longer and we might not have been able to get into the site from the road). Really depends on the site - many are huge like this one (171) and many are definitely small camper or tent only. Super quiet during the week and lots of families tent camping on the weekend - a fun atmosphere but never too loud for us. No hookups and mostly tree covered so take that into account - we ran our generator a couple hours most days even though we have lithium and solar.

Very good campground. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and organized. The lake is abosultely beautiful and its very big so its easy to practice social distancing. There are places to hike that's close to the campground.

Like many NH state parks, Greenfield is frozen in time. Which, if you like your outdoors experience au naturel, is just fine.We recently visited the public swimming area for the first time in a decade. Hasn't changed a bit: cozy beach fronts, plenty of shaded tables, crystal clear and cool water, easy parking, clean bathrooms. The lake isn't terribly deep, which makes it particularly friendly for younger children, and worried parents. The camp store is open at the far end of the beach, if you want a snack. They also have canoes and kayaks for rent. Admission is cheap. Pretty tough to beat.PS There's just one grocery/convenience store open in the center of Greenfield. Good place to stop before or after your swim for supplies.

Very nice lake with a pretty small beach, but clear water, nice views, plenty of parking, bathrooms, and a gift shop/snack shack with cold drinks and some packaged frozen treats.(Didn't utilize the campgrounds.)
