We are so disappointed that our dog who has been a patient of yours since he was adopted in 2015 was turned away twice in 2 weeks of being sick. Your site states you offer emergency and urgent care, so untrue! Fortunately we found a wonderful caring emergency care in Brentwood. We will not be back and definitely won’t recommend your business to others!

It’s been tough finding a decent vet in The Lakes Region — one without attitude that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. We like Cocheco a lot for our 3 golden retrievers. The staff is professional and kind and the prices are perfectly reasonable.One note: if you ever have a need to have your pet seen quickly for an issue, this isn’t the place. Expect to have to take your pet to one of the area emergency vets and pay considerably more.This practice (and most in the area) don’t seem to hold back time for light “emergencies.” We moved here from Atlanta where that was common. It’s nice b/c you don’t have to lay out $1k every time your pet has an urgent but not serious issue.For shots, check-ups, chronic disease management — the planned stuff — this is a good practice, though.

My dog is a patient here and he recently was neutered. You can't ask for a better staff. They called me two days later to check on him and they are very sincere and take care of the pets as they were their own. I wouldn't go anywhere else

Great people and great care!We have a zoo of animals so we're constantly in and out of this place. They have seen our dogs, cats, and sugar glider in the past and we're still grateful for everything. Waiting area and exam rooms are spacious and clean. Calling in for meds can be as quick as a few hours. Everyone here is very friendly and knowledgeable, and for checkups, they will get you in and out relatively quickly. They also sell additional products and do cremation services as well.No qualms!

We have be using Cocheco for a few years now. They have always been amazing. In our house we have a senior and a puppy. So weather it be my 14 year old dog has new symptoms or the 4 month old puppy has yet again done something to her paw. They are always a call away. They check up on them even on a weekend. I highly recommend them. Our dogs love the vets and the techs. I know when I say if it was your dog what would you do. They are honest and upfront.

My old Veterinary place could not fit my dog in for euthanasia although I was a customer for 9 yrs but Cocheco did and they were awesome. I was a Veterinary technician for 20 yrs and we never refused a pt. Family for such a request when it was absolutely necessary for this to be done so the animal would not suffer. I am now a customer with Cocheco because of their expertise & compassion. They fit us in and even stayed late on a Saturday. I absolutely recommend them not only from a professional point of view but also from a customer/ pet owners point of view.

I have been taking my 3 dogs to Cocheco for over 2 years now and they are wonderful there! They are so patient with one of my very anxious pups and they truly seem to care about me and my dogs and patiently answer any questions. Their prices are very reasonable, and they don’t push anything extra if it’s not needed. I am super impressed with this office!

We’ve been customers for 5 years and this morning they refused to see our cat who is having trouble breathing, stating the only appt they have is 2 weeks out and that they have 4,000 other residents that need appts. Unacceptable. We’ll never be back.***I have to update my review to include our most recent visit. We had to take our dog in due to an urgent matter. The front desk staff was able to accommodate us within a matter of 48 hours. We met with the Dr. and he was extremely thorough in helping us address the issue. We left the office feeling like our concerns were validated and appropriately addressed. Definitely a much better experience than last time and I felt that deserved to be recognized.

Basic service good. Staff not following the science of appropriate food for dogs. Not accepting of raw diet. My dog is a more solid breed of German shepherd. If I followed the recommended weight loss of 6 pounds, she would look anorexic.

Been going to these guys for years never had much of an issue but today went to camp my dog to get a haircut and nails cut and they told me it was gonna be $300 so I was a little aggravated sign the papers left and an hour late I got a call that they will not give my dog the treatment that I scheduled for him because they did not like my attitude. And to come pick up my dog. But upon arrival I walked in to get my dog, and they told me to leave and that they called the cops and that the cops will give me my dog. They refuse to give me my dog until the cops arrived when the cop arrived, the dog was given back to me because they were legally in the wrong.

This place is the Garden of Eden of vet clinics. Efficient staff, thorough vets, and friendly, knowledgeable techs. I have found Cocheco to be accommodating, helpful, and reasonably priced.Recently, Dr. Alyssa Warneke-Keto came to our home to put one of our dogs to sleep. We didn’t realize angels wore coveralls and spoke in a mid-west accent, but this one drove through a snowstorm, walked in, and graciously helped our old friend over the rainbow bridge. We will forever be grateful for Dr. Warneke coming out to the house to let our dog pass peacefully in his familiar surroundings.In short, if you don’t have a vet clinic and you live within 20mi of this one, give them a call. You won’t regret it!

The staff is super nice and have always been great with my animals. My black lab is 11 and she has had her times where i felt like we are in there at least one a week, but they invested a lot of time and compassion and finally got to the route of her problem. They found her a medicine that helped her instead of making things worse with her arthritis. She has been able to go outside and play again. Their prices are reasonable and I have never walked out of there feeling like i was overcharged like some places. They will be the only vet I go to from here on out!

Brought my pup in to have regular shots, asked vet tech to look at his ears as he's had a head shake when barking. Vet tech brought him back to vet, without my knowledge, then was charged a fee! All that was done was a 2 second look, and was told he should be fine.. no treatment. He's still having issue with his ear a week later and it looks like we have to do another visit. But besides that. Vet tech was sweet. Vet was kind. And gunner got his shots and was happy to be on his way. All in all we will keep using them.for his routine visits.

Always have a great experience at Cocheco. The staff and doctors there have been great with our animals over the years.Recently we had to help one of our fur babies cross the rainbow bridge and the the entire staff was so supportive to our family throughout the process. They really blew us away with their kindness.Their kindness and compassion confirmed, we have a great veterinary office!Thank you Kori, Meagan, and the entire staff at Cocheco for always taking such great care of our fur family, but especially in our most recent loss. ♥️ 🐾

You have to keep all your bills and go over everything yourself . As they tried charging us for after sugery check up visit, that is included in the surgery price. They also don't break down the price of blood work as they often test to be safe.It was unprofessional as, they gave my daughter 1 price for blood work..While she continued to try holding her 100 lbs , 1 1/2 year rottie still, because they were keeping a adult female dog in the back room. As the dog was 1 of their pets I guess. Seeing as it has a bed we could see from the front desk. The added tests added to be safe were another $200. Knowing the person was on low income and having high anxeity they kept offering more test not needed with out adding the prices is disgusting to me.Never mind he couldn't sit right for months after being fixed.

I would give zero stars if I could. I have 5 animals and have used Cocheco Vet for 3 years. All animals are up to date on everything and were in for wellness visits over the summer. Called Monday morning because one of my cats was sick and they wouldn’t see him. First appointment was EIGHT days later. This is unacceptable….your vet should be there for you for when you need them. What is even more unbelievable is that the symptoms that my cat had which were described to this vet who told us we could wait eight days…… The emergency vet told us to come right away because it could be fatal! It indeed was fatal and we lost our cat two nights ago. Don’t bother using this vet if you might need them in a pinch.

Good quality service poor customer service though. About 1.5 months ago they sent me a letter telling me my pet was due for a checkup so I called in a attempt to make a apt. And nobody answered. Sense then I've called about a dozen more times with the same results I left messages and no response. Then yesterday I check my mail and see that there telling me my pet is overdue for a checkup. Sorry but my pet can't have a checkup if there is no way to reach you guys to set up a apt. Would appreciate you guys call me so we can resolve this

I love the vets, they seem very friendly and knowledgeable. The staff at the counter could be nicer or even acknowledge I was there but I guess everyone was taught differently. They are still a lot better than my last vet that charged for every little thing

They helped my dog when he had Lyme disease and when she got to sick an we had to lay her to rest they were very sentimental and was so thoughtful an nice an comforting and I'm so thankful for them when me an my husband were upset they were very kind to us. When we do decide to get another Puppy we will definitely go to this vet. I can't be thankful enough for how much they helped us when my dog was hurting.

Easily the best vet that I've ever been to. Everyone that I've talked to there has been very kind and patient. Most places that I've taken my dog to when they find out that he had stomach issues will jump straight to x-rays and all kinds of tests, that didn't happen here. They were patient and took things one step at a time to make treatment as affordable as possible. They will listen to you!

Affordable, honest, realistic. What more couldYou ask for when caring for your best friend! I’ve moved around a bit and this is by far the best experience we have had with a veterinarian. Dr Ring is just the sweetest most pleasant person who clearly LOVES her job and her patients.
