I contacted Fortified several weeks ago with an initial inquiry about my Honda. After several attempts to make contact with no luck, I left a review reflecting my experience. Chad reached out hoping to make the situation right which I welcomed and he set a time for me to meet with him the following day to have a key made. Upon arrival, he didn't have a blank to make my key (even though previous messages indicated I only posessed a valet key) and after a three hour round trip to his location, he apologized and told me it would take three days to have one mailed. This occured on Thursday of last week. Here we are, one week from the origional date of appointment and again no contact or updates. I understand he is a one man show and recognize how busy he must be, but communication takes only a few minutes to draft an email. Unfortunately I cannot recommend him based on lack of communication and preparation for an appointment he scheduled.

Fortified Auto, Lock, & Safe rekeyed, cut and installed new door locks for us. He was professional, pleasant, & worked diligently to complete the job in a very reasonable amount of time. He cleaned the job site once the install was finished. Overall, Fortified saved me the stress & potential mistakes of attempting to cut new holes in the doors myself. We highly recommend Fortified.

Washed my car keys in my shorts pocket . Called the dealership and wasted it would take a week or more to get another key. Could cost up to $500!!!! Called Chad at Fortified and he got me 2 key fab, cut the keys and programmed them to my car in my driveway. Chad from Fortified Lock and Key was excellent throughout all steps of service recently with our home. He was communicative via email and responded quickly.We needed our exterior doors on a recently purchased home re-keyed. Some had deadbolts, one was a slider so there was a lot to be done. Chad came out within a week, replaced the locks he was able to, and followed up a few weeks later after ordering some necessary parts to complete the job. Chad reached out to me to let me know the parts were in - personally reaching out to let me know the parts were in and scheduling a time. Both times he was on time, quick to work, and explained the work done. The prices were also reasonable. Nothing but great things to say and will certainly be keeping Fortified Auto Lock and Safe for any future locksmith needs.

Have called for both of my wife and my car. Needed spare keys made. Chad had both the Honda and the Dodge done for a very reasonable price compared to the dealerships. Later I had a special request about a key that I could not find anywhere for a Thule bike rack. Chad molded the lock and hand me a key out of thin air! Very impressive! Thanks again Chad!!

My keys were plowed under by the snowplow in our driveway. Chad responded quickly and was very professional! Within minutes a new electronic key was created, as well as a “spare” valet key…(just in case). The cost was also reasonable. He’s a really nice guy! Chad provided excellent service for several door locks. He made keys on the premises for locks that needed them and keyed one key to service several locks. He was punctual, professional, and answered all questions in a way that was easy to understand. He is also very friendly. I cannot recommend him highly enough !

Chad does great work I have known him for many years, he has done lots of different lock related things including one time making a key just by reading the codes out of a door lock , trunk lock and getting the last number from the glove Box lock, as the 1 key we had was gone.Just recently I had him make 2 keys for my Chevy Silverado and 1 key for my wife's Mustang that being a transponder key everything went very quickly and smooth..and what a big convenience that he comes right to your house. I locked my car keys in the trunk of my car on a Monday night, Fortified Auto Lock and Safe was the only available locksmith available. When I called, Chad was on another job but was able to make it to help me out with in an hour after I called. He was able to unlock my car and also, find the code to my keypad so I would have it (I never got the keypad code from the dealer). Highly Recommend !!

Fortified is a lifesaver! I had my backpack taken at a ski resort in VT while on vacation - with my car keys in the backpack... I was completely stranded, until I was referred to Fortified and the owner, Chad. Chad came out to help me over a holiday weekend, and over an hour away. He made the very complex process of making a new chipped ignition key easy, and had all the latest equipment in his truck to resolve my situation. Chad was very professional, and very friendly. He talked me thru the entire process, and was a pleasure to work with! While this kind of work is not cheap, I do believe I received great value for the money.
