Plenty of options for a small market in the lakes region. Large selection of alcoholic drinks and ice cream beyond all the regular grocery store items. Prices are decent, maybe a little bit more than other local grocery stores like Hanna ford and Market Basket. If you are visiting the area, the store makes it easier to not have to go too far to get what you need.

The prices are alot... They're even higher then the store located in Laconia New Hampshire.. it's a very small place but it's alo not a bad place either. Always clean..

This is a friendly little basic store that sells groceries obviously, it's not a very big grocery store but it does have quite a bit of useful things especially if you are nearby where you live or are visiting. This is basically been the same store forever. That being said it's very good to have a small grocery store nearby in case you need something. There are wonderful grocery stores in the area but they can take about half an hour to get to so this one is nice to have if you need something short-term.

I have always enjoyed shopping at Bobs and tend to spend between $70 and $100 a week on our groceries. The people are very friendly - it is clean and well stocked. But I am very disappointed to see there are no precautions being taken to protect themselves or their customers from Covid and variants! No one wears masks - the owners or the check out persons. I am sorry to find I will no longer be stopping there as it was so nice and convenient.

Quaint little Mart nestled in the center of Ashland new hampshire. Fast courteous service. The shelves are stocked constantly. The prices are a little on the high side but you have to keep in mind it's the only thing that resembles a grocery store in town. All in all four stars.. I recommend this place to anybody.

Small town feel, small town store, a different epoch of days ago. Bob's is great! Bob's has excellent meat choices. The rib specials are excellent! The prices might be a bit steep here and there, but how do you keep a small store running in a small town? I encourage any and all tourists: If you want the old American feel where stores were still small enough to not get lost in and people were friendly and actually knew each other, come to Bob's!

This is a teeny-tiny grocery store, with an equally tiny parking lot. But you will find everything you need for more than a week here. On top of that; their prices are comparable or better to any grocery store you'll find outside the lakes area. While they have a pretty captive audience of shoppers (unless you drive really far to Wal-Mart or something); they manage to stock everything you'll need at great prices. We always stop in on our way into town.

Bob's Shurfine Market is under new ownership and I realize that all things must change. But..prices have increased and a lot of the stock is "gourmet" which is very expensive. This will work for the out of state visitors, but winters are long and cold.

I miss my days of vacationing in Holderness, and coming here for my immediate needs for food and supplies. Very nice, small town feel, and extremely convenient. Plus, I have a lifelong joke between my wife and I now. In the meat section they had two deli hot dogs in a package.Me: Hey hon we need hot dogs.Her: How many?Me: Two.Her: Just two?Me: When a man needs only two hot dogs, this is the place to go. Not one. Not three. Just two.Yeah it's dumb but we got a chuckle.I hope the big box's don't drive this place out.

Place is going down hill fast. New owners are jacking the prices and leaving expired food on the shelves and coolers. You will find a LOT of items without pricing so you don't know what they use to cost, Will never be back and will tell as many as possible not to go here. Greed runs this place now!

Great, old school, local grocery. It's not a big box store, yet somehow seems to have everything you could possibly need for the lake or to stock up the summer rental. Even for a small town store. Very nice people and I would rather shop local and support the few independents still out there.

Bob's Shur-Fine is a great local grocery store. It's small and manageable like stores used to be, and the staff is friendly and helpful. A lot of their prices are comparable to the larger chain stores, and because it's organized and well staffed - you can be in and out of there quickly. I highly recommend their meat and produce!

Just came back from Bobs SurFine in Ashland NH....went there to get heavy cream. The heavy cream I got a few days prior at another store was not good... dated 1 Aug, but was unopened, so thought maybe would be good. Wasn't. So at Bobs Surfine was relieved to get heavy cream dated 17 Sep! Got home and ready to add the cream to my baking...and didn't "flow out"!!!! Soooo disappointed.... won't be going back!!!! So if you need heavy cream....do not go to Bobs... the ones dated 17 Sep 21 are bad on Aug 5, 2021!!!!!

Although convenient, prices are high on most things, a hand full of product a little more reasonable!I can't speek for meets, but the chicken is tasteless, priced well, but tasteless.Given the fact that shur-fine is its own brand, you would think they would be able to offer better pricing on name brand products!You get more bees with honey!

Look for specials on fresh vegetables and meats, particularly chicken, sometimes (excellent) steaks. Love it. Also sells all the usual groceries.
