Very rude ladies. I was hesitant to even go there due to all the law suits I highly recommend looking up the lawsuits. Petco grooming has KILLED dogs all over the country. As soon as i went up to the counter i asked plenty of questions. They have a “no muzzle policy” and they keep the dogs in small kennels to wait for their turn. My dog is a 12 year old small dog who we got from the shelter she has lots of anxiety and shes a sweet dog but when it comes to nail clipping and trims she freaks out and bites therefore she needs to be muzzled. The women where extremely rude and as soon as i caught a bad vibe . I turned to my mom and said “i didnt want to take her here, petco grooming is known to kill dogs” the lady at the counter quickly said “Ok you have a goodday bye” and dissapeared through the door. Completely dodged my concerns. I walked right out with my dog. Unless you want your dog to be stuck in a cage for hours when you go here i wouldnt take them. Horrible place. DO NOT GO HERE.

Sarah P. was SUPER Respectful and beyond helpful. She did an amazing job on my dogs fur! Although having to travel over a half hour to get her groomed will definitely be visiting again in the future! Thankyou again Sarah P. Princess and I both appreciate it!

I brought my two Westies to the Amherst Petco groomers for the 1st time a week ago. They were fantastic!!! One of my pups is a few months shy of 17, and has a handful of conditions that need to be worked around. Both of the ladies I spoke (I really wish I had thought to write down your names!!!) with were friendly, attentive, and interacted very well w/ both pups, and both pups looked great after their baths & cuts. This is my new go-to groomer.

Amanda is wonderful with my dog, Elliot. He loves seeing her, and is excited to be there because she makes it both fun and safe for him. Your whole team is great, especially Amanda and Beth, and many others whose names I don’t know. The store inAmherst, NH is a joy to go to and Elliot acts like he is at doggy Disneyland. Our groomer Jessie, was outstanding in every way. Very friendly, professional, helpful and did a fantastic job with our very shaggy girl!! She was very kind and gently with her. We will be using Jessie from now on for sure !! Thank you Jessie for a great job!!

My kitties are not used to baths and especially Collin, who is the youngest or the three and the most shy. Jessie always takes great care to make sure they are ok and tries to soothe their anxiety. Collin looks (and smells!) wonderful :)

As always, the Petco grooming staff went above and beyond on the pup's nail trims. Amanda is always amazing and we come specifically to see her as she knows my pups and they love her.

Staff was very loving and great with my dog. My dog was so nervous going in. The care and affection given her calmed her down and she was ok with them and more relaxed during her grooming.

I loved how attentive Lisa was and how gentle she was with Stella who was just adopted and likely never groomed before. Stella was terribly stinky with some matted areas and long nails. She came back looking and smelling like a whole new dog!

Willow is a wooly Cavachon who hadn't been groomed in months due to Corona virus requiring us to stay home for what became 3 months! She gets nasty (snarled and matted) when she goes without grooming (stinky too). She always returns to her former beautiful self after a session with Amanda. Love the way she looks and acts when I get her back!

Quick and efficient with two nail trims. Did not have an appt and the groomer still took the time to get the nails done on both of my pups. We love petco grooming.

The groom was fabulous! This Petco store though is inexcusable and it's lack of poopy receptacles outside. Dogs have to go to the bathroom after they've been at the groomer and you're asking people to be rude and leave their poop there which is unacceptable. Would you please put out something to put the poop bags in. It's a shame because I really really love the skill and the personality of our groomer. But I cannot in good conscience give my business to Petco who encourages bad irresponsible pet parent behavior encouraging people to leave poop around. Thanks to Petco I had a poop bag in my car the whole way home which is not pleasant. And quite frankly, I hate you for that, Petco.

Jessie did a perfect job on my dogs cut. I say this because her coat is very difficult to cut. The person who cut her before Jessie destroyed her coat . Jessie worked her magic,and turned things around ! Thank you Jessie .
