Check all fresh non canned products. They leave a lot of expired and moldy stuff. Check boxes too. People open cracker boxes take out a pack and put them back on the shelf and you don't know til you get home

I went to Scolaris today at 2:00. Jolie, the checker, was professional and sweet. Raspberries, one of my favorite fruits, were on sale. I got 4 6oz packages at $2.50 apiece. They were perfect. Only one of all fell apart. Raspberries are a very soft fruit & mold easily. I always open the container without touching the fruit to check for spoilage. I am so pleased that I went there today. They have the Gamesa Maravillas cookies I like. I’ve always snacked on Vanilla Wafers or Graham Crackers with Milk, however these cookies are so much more substantial and flavorful, besides being less expensive. I just wanted to relay the fact that I shop there frequently and always the employees are great and the food is exceptional.

One would be wise to have patience and thick skin in order to get things done here, but it reflects the overall culture of Sun Valley. Bottom line, I wouldn't come here if I were a tourist.

I love Scolari. It's my last minute stop store. When I don't want to drive farther this is my stop. But I love their service. The produce guys are cool, always helpful when I need them. The cashiers are nice too. Yes the prices are a bit higher. But having good service makes me go back.

Had to get a rain-check for steaks we had planned on for dinner.2/18/24: The North doors have been blocked, due to buttheads stealing them blind. Keep it up and we'll lose our only real grocery store, which sells the best meat in town.

Terrible 😞 this place needs to be torn down 👎 always out of everything listed on sale. Don't bother ringing the bell in the meat department no one works back there since 1998 prices are ridiculous! Save yourself money GO ELSEWHERE 🙏

I needed to print some things off my phone. These were very important for me and the location here didn't have the technology to provide me the service that I needed. This was quite disappointing because Sun Valley is in need of places to provide services like this in the area.

Very rude ,from the staff to the manager at night time. They didn't say aword to us at check not even the total. She just look at us like we were supposed to know the total..then the manager comes over bag are stuff and just pushed it at us not saying a word to us either

Good for getting necessities that you forgot to grab at the store you were just at. The prices match whole foods prices, but the quality of the product does not match, nor does it deserve to be as high. Dont forget to write a grocery list the next time you go shopping, and be sure to check it twice so you dont have to spend your money here.

The clerks are very friendly with the customers they know personally. The prices are kinda high. Not a great selection of ethnic foods. Not a bad place to stop in and see for yourself 🤷

Was a good place to shop. Now the prices are sky high and the quality has gone way down. Just today I was there and their fresh fruits and vegetables were either rotten or so unripe it was unbelievable. Their fresh meats are mostly fat or gristle and twice the price they once were. Very disappointed. I tell the cashier and they just shrug their shoulders. Only 2 stars but that's because the store is in a convenient location for me as I walk every where I need to go.

People who work here are always super nice...but dang! The prices are SO outrageous!! They are as expensive as prices in a gas station...hate having to shop here but it's the only grocery store in Sun Valley so only go here if absolutely have to...

Most employees are rude and way too busy yapping to eachother every time I go in there's a bunch of employees standing around at the front of the store talking and joking around loudly and then seem bothered when they have to stop to ring up customers. And this store is also super outdated and I feel like it has not changed since I was a kid 30 plus years ago. And the products are even sort of outdated and very limited. Like you're not gonna find a very wide variety of many items, especially any newer variety for any anything. This store always feels like it's stuck in some kind of weird, early Y2K loop every time I go in there. Its weird.

Okay for a quick pick up of groceries. Prices are average. Store is old and needs updating in and out. Does not stock certain items but has a lot of ethnic foods. Produce not the best, must use quickly. Bread products can be old/stale.

This place grosses me out! Everyone who works here is rude and unprofessional. I went in line and the cashier was clipping her finger nails with a nail clipper than she starts chewing her nails putting her fingers all in her mouth and while doing this she’s touching everyone’s groceries. Ewwww I Decided to go to a different cashier. I picked my stuff up before she was going to handle my groceries. Than the next register I went to had two people standing there playing with a lighter! This is so unprofessional. I also saw mold on some cheese where I was picking up my things. Always check your products and expiration dates! This is the worst store in town! So gross. Should not be in business honestly.

Usually have what you need if your in a pinch for dinner, Although it is a little pricy. The employees are awesome and very friendly. You can pay bills here as well during normal day hours when customer service is open. The butcher's in the deli are very helpful and knowledgeable about their different cuts of meat and will slice to order if you ask.

This store is horrible! A lady was rude to us and then we had the electric shopping cart and she just kept looking at us VIGOROUSLY. I mean she could not keep her eyes away and then when we looked back she rolled her eyes. I saw flies on the meat, and we bought some apple & cinnamon rice cakes and they were EXPIRED for a WHOLE month.

I am still amazed that this market is still in business; the store in Sun Valley is a dump along with the parking lot. There are some store personnel that are great but some that don’t even acknowledge you are a customer (Benjamin). I don’t mind that he doesn’t do any small talk, but not even a hello or thank you-this is customer service and there are many stores that appreciate our business and they will definitely be getting mine.

This Scolari's Food Mart has been open for nearly 40 years. Along with the Birite. The parking lot is miserably maintained. I don't remember when it was paved. And I remember shopping there many times. The prices are higher than the rest of the stores but when you're in a hurry to get home, it's there. I don't recommend you do your weekly, monthly shopping there unless you have no other choice. They don't carry many of the items I usually purchase for instance 24 ct Diet Pepsi. But if you need milk stop by.

Everyone is always very friendly and professional to my family and self. I don't ever need to go anywhere else. They have everything I need. Some places do get sales and beat their price. However, when I calculated the cost of going to other places, I really wasn't saving anything and in some cases, I spent more. I really appreciate that I can get my money order and pay my bills here. I also like that I'm helping support my community!Thanks for making life so much easier!
