The cashier who was super rude and I forgot bags and I asked if it was ok to get a bag and leave my cart I didn’t want to be rude to other people and he acted like I was a moron for asking. Then my son who is shy was looking at him and he said to me “he’s looking at me like he’s going to kill me” I said “‘my son is 8 and I fear a school shooting everyday and young kids should not be told things like that. Very creepy kid. But who tells that to an 8 year old?

The store is horrible under staffed it is messy, there are boxes every where, it is hard to move around. The customer experience is horrible. They would benefit greatly by hiring more people and increasing the hours of the current staff to full time and giving them benefits. Rather than pay the minimum possible for staff because many people are going there less often or stopping shopping there because the store is a huge mess.

Maaaaaan Sandie was beyond unprofessional to the colorful coworker who was nothing BUT sweet and professional today.Today I came to the store to grab what I thought would be a “quick in and out,” item. However this Boomer of a lady had the line backed to the back of the store and didn’t call for back up ONCE in the 25 minutes I waited after waiting this long I began to speak to several other people who had been a head of me who all stated they had been there for several minutes as well and had not heard a page or call for back up. We all seriously assumed she was the only one working. She don’t greet one person as she rung them up. Finally a sweet brown hair girl came from the back and IMMEDIATELY not only jumped into action BUT called for back up where several other people then jumped to help. The woman who called for back up apologized and explained they were working the truck stuff. She then told her to PAGE for help next time.

I nominate this location for the worst Dollartree in America. Exterior lights turned off, not really safe to walk into at night. No cleaning in months. The store is filthy. Food and spilled liquids on the floor. Apparently, insufficient labor is scheduled to keep the shelves stocked. Shelves half empty but items that need to be put on shelves are blocking the aisles.

Having moved to the westside of Reno, I was anxious to visit the Dollar Tree, on W. McCarran. The store was quite busy, in which, I attribute the messiness to. The personnel was very polite and apologetic for the state of the store. I will definitely return.

Went in there today to buy snacks and random things. Store is well stocked. Customer service from all employees seems to be lacking. They walk around like the don't see you and you're in their way. The cashier seemed to be in a bad mood. Attempted to be polite and talk to her but couldn't so much as get her to glance my way. Like I mean I understand if someone was being rude but your in Customer service. It wouldn't kill you to crack a smile or at the very least acknowledge the customers when they talk to you.

Great customer service! I do not remember her name,but she observed me searching for an item asked me if she could help. She had the item in back. The store was busy, but she wert and brought me and a fellow customer who overhead us talking several of the item we were looking for.And she was smiling, so many people in customer service don't engage with customers or smile. People are alot more amiable if you just smile. Really it works. Also this is a larger store than most in Sparks or Reno, and was very well stocked and clean.Thanks ladiesgreat job!

My local Dollar Tree is where I get all my restrooms soaps. I'd rather spend $1.25 than $4-$5 per bottle at Walmart. I also get crafts for my grandkids at this store.

Terrible experience dealing with manager Daniel and cashier Elda today!!! The most unprofessional display of customer service I’ve ever seen!! Since when is it appropriate for your cashiers to yell and use vulgar phrases directed towards customers and delivery workers!?! I’m absolutely appalled at the scene I witnessed this morning!!! Something needs to be done about these workers!!!

This Dollar Tree is definitely steppin their game up. The store was clean & very well organized. They have lots & lots of craft supplies & candles & candle accessories. I'm pretty sure they had other things too, but, meh... Pros: Items are easy to find, plenty of each in stock & Each item only costs $1! I have made lots of purchases here over the years. Most things are exactly what you would expect. I don’t even mind that the prices increases recently to $1.25. What I do think is ridiculous is a no refund not even for store credit policy. I’ll probably come back again and stock up on toothpaste since they won’t take my unused items back without exchanging for other items (and I truly don’t need anything today nor do I have time to waste shopping for more stuff I don’t need)…and then I probably won’t ever come back because of that policy.

Good Easter stuff and cheap toys for the baskets. Not the biggest selection for craft supplies. Nice staff that seem to like their jobs.

It was very large in size and the manager was very nice and informative. Even though they were under staffed, it was a fast trip.Edit: I recently went in, and I just felt the need to add more!! Gena was the manager on duty and she was so helpful! She helped me find what I needed and even stepped in to ring me up at the Register when the lines were full. Companies need more employees with amazing customer service like Gena!

This store used to be so fun to shop at. Great finds, well stocked shelves, personable employees.. that's a thing of the past. Always only one cashier for a line of about 15 people. Shelves bare, boxes everywhere .It looks as if some kind of Black Friday mob hit the store. What happened ?

JUST WALKED OUT not even one minute ago. They had one cashier and a line down the store yet the two managers hide away in the office. As a retail manager myself I feel bad for the lack of support your cashiers have. Poor poor management, do better.

Was charged at this store for items I did not choose the cashier threw stuff in my check out ordered that I had not wanted and then they refused to refund them. Staff was rude and extremely unhelpful with their mistake.

I love the fact that they are true to their name. $1.00 for each item. A real deal, and they have some fun finds. Great for Christmas stocking stuffers, Easter baskets, and so much more! Great deals! No games like you see at $.99 stores.

Another Dollar Tree in severe decline. First time going to this location in probably 8 years. First impression - what is it with the flooring? Needs a serious revamp on the flooring AND some serious organizing and cleaning. On the positive side - it's a good place to buy cards.

At the 7th and mccarran store I left several items. And found there employees far more polite and responsible than a major financial institution with my property. Both Kathy and Briana were pleasant to deal with Thank You Matt for running such a tight ship .

This Dollar Store was the place to go. Now it’s a wreak. The crew they had when I first went were the best. This particular Dollar Store has a bad turn over with employees. The place is trashed. The shelves are low on product and the floor is dirty among other. It’s a shame to, like wrote this was a really nice store. Now my son and I go to the one in Sparks.

THE place to purchase greeting cards. Excellent selection and great prices. Greeting cards are a lost art in this day of email and electronic cards. It is always great to receive a physical, paper card with a handwritten note! But the typical cards at other stores are very expensive. The Dollar Tree has great cards at low prices.

Customer Service is bad. Had my phone/wallet stolen in the store. Asked for help and got attitude. Manager seemed irritated that he had to put all my items that I wanted to purchase back. Asked if he could hold the merchandise so I don't have to go through the shopping again and he wouldn't have to put everything back, and he said very coldly, "No!" No help or sympathy received for the fact that I was robbed in their store.

I love this dollar store, the only issue I had with it was not many pet items and there was only 2 cashier's and the lines were EXTREMELY long. But they did there best to make sure everyone was taken care of and the ladies were very kind.

Ohh my!!! This location is a MESS...and understocked, there is more product on the Floor, than on the shelves!?It looks like a war zone inside of this store. Is it the customers (animals) that go to these stores or just not enough staff to keep them in check.I'd say the customers first. They toss items all over the floor in all areas too. Not just kids in the toy dept.The shelves are bone dry, empty! Boxes of product just waiting to be stocked.Help, This store needs a reset.

I love this place for stocking stuffers among other things but it's got a great hardware section where the stuff is literally a third of the price of home Depot.

This store is by the far the best dollar tree in the Reno area. With new management and team they have been getting the place full with merchandise and cleaner. They are always helpful and kind. Very happy with this store. :)
